After the global financial crisis in 2009, Shida Carbon started constructing production lines of the three upgrading and transferring products. With the great efforts of Shida people, we have successfully completed the project in only 3 years. In August 2013, both the Dia.600mm UHP graphite electrode and Dia.620X600MM Isotropic graphite has gained the appraisement of sci-tech achievements by Sichuan Science and Technology Department. Our new project has created many new records among carbon industry at China and aboard.

1 2 3 4 Screw lifting plug into socket of one end and place soft protection material under the other end(see pic.1) to avoid damaging nipple;

Blow dust and dirt on the surface and socket of electrode and nipple with compressed air; use brush to clean if compressed air cannot do it well (see pic.2);

Use a proper torque value (see recommended torque value table) to properly lock elec- trode (see pic.3);

In order to avoid crushes during furnace charging, please place bulk materials at the furnace bottom; meanwhile please do not place lime or any other non-conductive materials right under the electrodes, otherwise it will decrease electric conduciveness and cause breakage; Recommended Torque Meter Attention furnace cover’s position in order to avoid scratching or damaging when rising and lowering electrodes; Diameter(mm) Torque Value(N.m)
