1 PROJECT DESCRIPTION

BRUA Project Phase 1 represents the construction of new gas transmission pipeline sections to facilitate the connection between incumbent gas lines, from Podișor to Recaş, along Podișor-Corbu- -Hațeg-Recaș and consisting of:  Gas transmission pipeline Podișor – Recaș:

o Length: 479 km o Pressure: 63 bar o Diameter: Dn 800

 Compressor stations:

o TCS Podișor () o TCS Bibești (Gorj county) o TCS Jupa (Caraș-)

The pipeline route crosses the Counties: Giurgiu, Teleorman, Dâmbovița, Argeș, Olt, Vâlcea, Gorj, Hunedoara, Caraș- Severin and Timiș Investment value 478.6 mil. Euro.

2 PROJECT CONSTRUCTION (1)

 The pipeline construction works between TN Podișor and TN Recaș are divided as follows:  Pipeline execution of LOT 1 from KM 0 to KM 180, the works are ongoing, and the section between Podișor and Corbu (approx. 82 km) is completed and commissioned  Pipeline execution of LOT 2 from KM 180 to KM 320, the works are ongoing  Pipeline execution of LOT 3 from KM 320 to KM 479, the works are ongoing and the section Jupa and Recas (approx. 72 km) is completed and commissioned  Pipeline automation and security LOT –executed on the entire route, from KM 0 to KM 479

 Additionally the construction of the Project included also the procurement by Transgaz of the materials and equipment, namely: pipes and bends, valves, electro insulated joints and compressor units for the three compressor stations.  All such contracts are currently completed, all the materials and equipment are received and are on the construction site, at various stages of execution.

3 PROJECT CONSTRUCTION (2)

 Construction of the compressor stations  Construction of TCS JUPA – completed and commissioned on 30 September 2019  Construction of TCS BIBEȘTI – ongoing, to be commissioned on 30 June 2020  Construction of TCS PODIȘOR – completed and commissioned on 31 October 2019

The total current progress of the Project: 84,2 % at the beginning of February 2020 Welded pipe: approx. 380 km

4 PROJECT CONSTRUCTION (3)

 Considering the progress achieved, Transgaz  Offers the firm exit capacity through IP Csanádpalota of 0.75 bcm/y as of 1 October 2019  Offers the firm exit capacity through IP Ruse – Giurgiu of 0.75 bcm/y as of 1 November 2019.

• Following the implementing of the BRUA Project Phase 1 Transgaz will offer:  The firm reverse flow capacity through IP Csanádpalota – Nădlac of 1.75 bcm/y starting with 01.10.2020 and  The firm reverse flow capacity at IP Ruse – Giurgiu of 1.5 bcm/y starting with 01.10.2020.
