Approaching the coast, banksias and tea trees form an avenue along the track, and there are wonderful cliff top views as you approach Cape Schanck. GETTING TO THE START From Wallaces Rd, turn left onto Nepean Hwy. At roundabout, turn right on C788/B110 for 1.5km, then left onto Fwy M11 for 8.7km to a roundabout. Turn left onto Jetty Rd for 3.5km then left into Browns Rd. At next roundabout, continue straight ahead into Baldrys Rd; after 2.3km, park on left at Main Creek. (Melways 254 G6) Distance: 22km. [39km car shuffle before and after walk. Finish: Cape Schanck car park, Melways 257 F10 ] WALK DESCRIPTION Cross Baldrys Rd and follow the foot track south next to Main Creek, ignoring tracks off to the right. After 1.3km, you join the Two Bays Walking Track, which comes in on your right; it's marked with the Blue Wren track symbol. Continue southwards, crossing two management tracks. Have morning tea when you reach the Lightwood Creek campsite (toilets), which is 4.8km from the start. Continue south, crossing three 4WD management tracks along the way, as you follow the well-marked Two Bays track. Kangaroos are frequently seen in grassy areas as you approach Boneo Rd. Cross and continue southwards for 2.5km to the Bushrangers Bay junction; turn left and descend the steps to have lunch on the beach. After lunch, retrace your steps back up to the well-signed junction, then take the left fork and follow the track westwards. There are panoramic views of Pulpit Rock and as you approach the end of the walk at Cape Schanck.
