SUPER BOWL WINNER AND CARMEL VALLEY RESIDENT TACKLES ATHLETIC DIRECTOR ROLE AT ALL SAINTS’ DAY SCHOOL

CARMEL, CA • AUGUST 20, 2018 • joins All Saints’ Day School faculty as the new Athletic Director. Scott was a on the Saints winning team in 2010.

As Athletic Director, Scott has the vision to develop the school’s first competitive track and field program and a running club for the school community. He will also oversee All Saints’ existing upper grade (6th-8th) inter-scholastic (boys and girls), Soccer (boys and girls), Volleyball (boys and girls), Tennis, and Golf (both coed).

In his new role, Scott will work with school leadership on exploring areas for athletic facilities improvements on the school’s expansive Carmel Valley campus. “This is a tremendous move for All Saints', and will further benefit our school and our students,” said All Saints’ Head of School Hugh Jebson.

Scott is looking forward to this new opportunity to share his passion about athletics and sportsmanship “I’ve grown to deeply admire the devotion, energy, and enthusiasm the faculty and staff bring to the school everyday. And admittedly, I’ve also grown to envy the experience the kids are getting! All Saints’ has always done a great job of focusing on the ‘right’ things, and I look forward to continuing that legacy and pushing our athletic program even further. So I’m thrilled about this position and grateful for the opportunity to work with such a great group of kids and educators.”

Scott has been a familiar face among the All Saints' community since 2012. His three daughters attend the school, and in 2016, he joined the Board of Trustees.

About Scott: Scott spent 11 years as an NFL Linebacker with the , , , and . While with the Saints, the team won Super Bowl XLIV against the .

Scott was one of the founding members of Team Gleason, a New Orleans based nonprofit inspired by his friend and former teammate, , who is living with ALS. Scott also serves on the Board of GLEASON LIFE SKILLS SPORTS CLINICS, where he co-directs and helps design curriculum for its summer camp programs in New Orleans, LA.

Scott Fujita attended the University of California at Berkeley and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a master’s degree in Education. Scott and his wife Jaclyn have three daughters and live in Carmel Valley.
