The Mohawks fired back with four Newark 7 7 .500 4.0 seventh-inning tallies and then Josh Nethaway (UAlbany) slammed a solo home run Mohawk Valley 6 7 .462 4.5 in the eighth to answer a single score from the Eagles in the top half of the inning. Michaud yielded Amsterdam at Cooperstown, 5:00 PM five singles, walked two and struck out seven; he allowed just one hit after the AM: Chandler Shepherd 2-0, 0.00 ERA second inning. Reliever Taylor Wright (Brown) did not give up an earned run over the COOP: Cody Cooper 0-1, 3.27 ERA final three innings. Cruz blasted an RBI triple in the fifth, drew a bases-loaded walk as part of a three-score sixth and then he capped off a two-run eighth with an RBI Albany at Glens Falls, 7:00 PM single. ONE: Donovan Gonzales 0-0, 0.00 ERA ALBANY 5 NEWARK 2 WAT: Ryan Dunn 0-2, 7.07 ERA ALBANY, N.Y. – David Stagg (Heartland CC) and Ricky Schafer (Cypress) allowed two runs and combined to strike out 14 and the Dutchmen bunched together four runs Mohawk Valley at Newark, 7:05 PM over the first three innings to beat the Pilots. Stagg fanned a season-high 11 through MV: Eddie Fitzpatrick 0-1, 9.53 ERA seven frames and yielded just two runs on six hits. At one point, he seated nine- NEW: Derek Dallas 0-0, 3.48 ERA straight hitters between the fourth and sixth innings. Schafer blanked Newark in the eighth and ninth and he finished the game, facing the potential tying run at the plate, with a strikeout. Offensively, Albany scored three times in the second and once in the fourth to take a 4-1 lead. Adam Young (UC Davis), Nick Chapman (UNC Greensboro), Morgan Phillips (Charleston) and Ryan Gasporra (Centenary) each drove in one run during the stretch. Adam Young, Zach Remillard (Coastal Carolina-2012- 13) and Brandon Haarar (Samford) all had two hits for Albany; Zach Remillard scored twice. Ryan Gasporra drove in two Dutchmen runs without a hit. Adam Grace (Erie C.C.) was the top Pilot with three hits in four at-bats.

WATERTOWN 7 ELMIRA 2 ELMIRA, N.Y. – Nick Bradley (W. Michigan) pitched seven strong innings and the Wizards scored six times through the first five frames to give the Pios a knockout punch at Dunn Field. Bradley, in his second road win of the season, shut out Elmira for six of his seven innings pitched and allowed just two runs on six hits. He allowed just two Pios to advance safely past second base. Chris Glynn (UW Parkside) and A.J. Capone (Saint Rose) each drove in runs for the Wiz Kids in the second and then the Purple and Gold pounced for three in the fifth, two of which came on a Brandon Cipolla (Holy Cross) solo home run and a Jordan Enos (Holy Cross) RBI double. Cipolla socked three hits to pace the Wizards, Jordan Enos scored two runs and four different Watertown batsmen drove in at least one run. Clark Wise (Wofford) led Elmira with three hits including a fifth-inning double. A two-RBI single by Stephen Clout (New Haven) scored Wise and Ty Yesensky (Old Domination).
