With More Than 1.2 Billion Worldwide Streams and Counting, Kiiara Has With more than 1.2 billion worldwide streams and counting, Kiiara has already affirmed herself as a contemporary pop marvel, synthesizing anthemic songcraft with a kinetic, genre-blurring sound and laser-guided creative vision. The multi-platinum Princess of Chop Pop has now offered up her boldest musical statement yet with the extraordinary new single, “I Still Do.” Produced by Jason Evigan (Dua Lipa, Maroon 5, Demi Lovato) and co-written by Justin Tranter (Selena Gomez, Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga) and Ali Tamposi (Jonas Brothers, Shawn Mendes), the deliciously edgy track marks Kiiara’s first release since 2019’s acclaimed singles, “Open My Mouth“ and “Bipolar,” all of which herald her hugely anticipated debut album, due at last later this year. Hailed by Variety as “another win for the still emerging pop artist,” “Open My Mouth” has earned over TK million streams worldwide since its release last year. The track garnered praise from numerous media outlets, with Idolator proclaiming it “one of the best pop songs of the summer,” noting the “impossibly catchy chorus, relatable lyrics and endless hooks.” PAPER declared “Open My Mouth” to be “an infectious, breezy tune with a stuttered, insanely catchy chorus,” adding that the track’s official companion video – which features designer Christian Cowan and fashion from his FW19 line along with a special cameo appearance from Austin Mahone – was “poppy and prismatic…It makes an effective allegory to the song, which is a breakthrough for Kiiara all around.” Kiiara began writing and performing in her teens, inspired by a diverse range of contemporary pop, rock, and electronic forms. The Chicago, IL-based singer-songwriter first dropped “Gold” upon an unsuspecting world in the summer of 2015, earning instant attention for her trademark vocal sampling and gift for indelible hooks. The track proved a global sensation, earning 3x RIAA platinum certification – and over 700 million worldwide streams – en route to the top 5 on Billboard’s “Pop Songs” and the top 15 on the overall “Hot 100.” Furthermore, “Gold” struck an international chord following its featured placement in Apple Watch’s “Style” campaign starring Chloë Sevigny, with top 5 successes in Belgium and Australia, where it was certified 2x platinum by ARIA. As if all that weren’t enough, the “Gold” companion video was an equivalent sensation, now with over 106 million individual views at YouTube alone. Kiiara quickly followed her breakthrough hit with 2016’s debut Atlantic Records EP, low kii savage. In addition to “Gold,” the EP showcased her increasingly idiosyncratic approach on tracks like “Feels,” “Hang Up Tha Phone” (which debuted via Apple Music on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1) and “Tennessee,” the latter earning over 2 million audio plays at YouTube alone. Kiiara celebrated low kii savage with a wide array of high profile live appearances, including a sold out North American headline tour, a show- stopping performance at Lollapalooza, and network TV debut appearance on a historic episode of NBC’s The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Acclaimed by Rolling Stone for “her “minimalist, glitchy anti-pop,” Kiiara continued to expand her creative palette with such inventive singles as 2017’s “Whippin (Feat. Felix Snow)” and 2018’s “Messy.” What’s more, the chameleon-like artist forwarded her one-of-a-kind sound on a series of high profile collaborations alongside some of pop, EDM, rock, and hip-hop’s biggest players, including Ty Dolla $ign & Future’s “Darkside (Feat. Kiiara),” Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike and David Guetta’s “Complicated (Feat. Kiiara),” Steve Aoki & Nicky Romero’s “Be Somebody (Feat. Kiiara),” and of course, Linkin Park’s 2017 RIAA gold certified smash, “Heavy (Feat. Kiiara).” The latter track saw Kiiara further teaming with her self-proclaimed favorite band for a number of live performances, including an appearance on CBS’s The Late Late Show with James Corden and 2017’s Linkin Park and Friends: Celebrate Life in Honor of Chester Bennington concert event. Kiiara has spent much of the past two years hard at work developing her upcoming debut album, devoting seemingly endless resources of talent and energy into pushing her personal brand of pop towards heretofore-unheard terrain. Having already carved out her own unforgettable mark, this gifted artist is determined to take things even further in the future. Unpredictable, experimental, and utterly original, Kiiara is indeed unstoppable. .

The track, and its accompanying video, gives fans a taste of what’s to come off the forthcoming record – listen HERE. “Open My Mouth,” co-written by Kiiara, Amy Allen (Halsey’s “Without Me”, Selena Gomez’s “Back To You”), Scott Harris (Shawn Mendes’ “Treat You Better” and “There’s Nothin’ Holding Me Back”), Ian Kirkpatrick (Dua Lipa’s “New Rules”, Julia Michaels’ EP), and Joe London (Pitbull, Jason Derulo, Fifth Harmony) showcases Kiiara’s unique ability to blur the lines between genres with her signature vocals and honest lyrics. “Art is open for interpretation, so while some will listen to this song and relate to it based on relationships they’ve had in their lives, for me this song is about the relationship I have with myself,” Kiiara says of the new track. “I’ve struggled with mental health issues for my entire life. I’ve felt silenced, I’ve felt alone, and I’ve felt afraid. To me, this song is about facing these realities and putting it all out there. It feels empowering to open up and finally speak my truth, and I hope in doing so I can encourage others to let their guard down and do the same, so they don’t feel so alone and helpless.” The accompanying music video, directed by Juliana Carpino, features designer Christian Cowan and fashion from his FW19 line along with a special cameo appearance from Austin Mahone – watch HERE.

  • Zara Larsson Releases New Single & Music Video “Love Me Land”
ZARA LARSSON RELEASES NEW SINGLE & MUSIC VIDEO “LOVE ME LAND” HIGHLY ANTICIPATED SECOND INTERNATIONAL ALBUM COMING SOON (July 10, 2020 – Los Angeles, CA) – The pop superheroine the world needed returns right now… Today, multiplatinum artist, singer, songwriter, and activist Zara Larsson is back with a new single and music video entitled “Love Me Land.” Get it HERE via TEN/Epic Records. This marks her first release of 2020. On the track, an orchestral warbling chant rings out as she announces, “Here I am, lost in ‘Love Me Land’.” It flows right into a sexy bass line that reverberates under strings and her ecstatic falsetto before she urges, “Touch me in the way that you do, no matter who’s in the room, I see you sweating.” Co- written with the powerhouse team of Justin Tranter and Julia Michaels [Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez, Dua Lipa], the song integrates elements of discoball-ready Swedish pop into future-facing R&B. Meanwhile, the music video matches the heat as she dances solo in a sparse cube straight out of a sci-fi fantasy. Tune in HERE at 7am PST/10am EST to watch the premiere! About the single, she shared, "I wrote 'Love Me Land' with my friends Justin and Julia after a long period of writing for my sophomore international album. It felt like a kind of ‘eureka’ moment in understanding the journey I’ve gone on in discovering what it is to be a woman and an artist. The song is about accidentally falling in love but owning it, and I think that combines two things I love and do well - female empowerment and pop bangers! At the moment, we’re all experiencing this scary unknown world and having to endure some hard realities; I hope this can provide a little escapism for everyone, because sometimes dancing can solve everything, even just for a moment." The song paves the way for the arrival of her anxiously awaited second international album and what promises to be one of the biggest pop blockbusters of the year.
