Attendance Congratulations to Classes 2, winners of Attendance Ted. Our school target for the year was 96.3%. Our actual attendance was 95.3%. As we didn't met our target this year, attendance will still be a focus next year, being closely monitored by the EWO (Education Welfare Officer). Thank you to all the parents who have supported the school on this during the year. Five children received prizes for 100% attendance. Congratulations to Lilly C, Seth, Evan, Ava and Tomos.

Powys Catering – Cashless System School dinners are now Cashless. There are still a number of parents who have not yet signed up to Parent Pay or have not added credit to their child's account. Please ensure there is credit in your child’s account if they are taking school dinners. Credits from the old system will be transferred as soon as possible, this can take up to two weeks to be completed.

Lexia Congratulations to all the children who worked hard on their Lexia throughout the year. In total, 163 certificates were awarded and 20 children finished the levels for their age. Your child can still access Lexia throughout the summer. Their username and password will remain the same until the start of term.

Friends of Forden A huge thank you to Sam, Julie, Lisa, Zoe and Sian for organising and running a fabulous final afternoon for all the children.

Throughout the year the Friends have done an enormous amount for the school, even though there are so few of them. If you are able to help out in any way next year please volunteer. There are many small ways in which you could help and it would be greatly appreciated. All the money raised goes back to school to pay for the extras that make your child's school days so memorable.

Goodbye As the school year ends we say good bye to both staff and pupils. Mr Hardway is moving to teach at a school in . His work on the school production of Matilda will never be forgotten. Miss Roberts is leaving to begin teacher training in September. She has contributed so much during the year both in her roles as Teaching Assistant and mid-day supervisor and in the extra work she took on leading the librarian group and the Super Ambassador anti-bullying workshops. They will both be missed. As well as our Year 6s who are moving on to High School, we also say good bye to Will and Jack who are moving school. We wish them all the best in their new schools. Thank you All the staff would like to say a huge thank you for the support shown to the school throughout the year. The time given by parents to help with reading, gardening and help at clubs much appreciated. The staff would also like to thank the parents and children for their kind words and generous gifts.
