• ANUC SSTL built the first amateur ground station in Sub- Saharan Africa.

• The laboratory received its Amateur Operators Licence on June 9, 2014 from the National Communication Authority, Ghana.

• The ANUC-SSTL made history again by receiving and decoding a Slow Scan Television(SSTV) image of the Russian Cosmonaut, from the International Space Station (ISS) on the 18th and 20thof December, 2014. Space Science Technology Laboratory

• ANUC students have built Ghana’s first satellite.

• During this 2- year project students designed, assembled, tested and operated 1 U CubeSat (1 kg, 10 cm – cubic satellite.

• The satellite is expected to be released into orbit from the International Space Station by June 2017.

ALL NATIONS UNIVERSITY ROBOTICS LABORATORY

Robots are fast becoming the mainstay of cutting edge technology being developed worldwide alongside 3D printing technology and Drones. Some of our Engineering students have built a Roverbot model under a project code named ANIRA (which stands for the All Nations Intelligent Robotic Agent). They now seek to build a working prototype We are currently working on setting up a robotics lab. Robotics Lab

• The mission of the Lab is to conduct research in robotics with a view to building hi-tech robots that can serve various purposes on earth and in space.

• Also, Lunar Mission One (LM1) has requested ANU to pilot an international project in Ghana that would send an unmanned robotic spacecraft to land at the south pole of the Moon. Carnegie African Diaspora Fellow

• All Nations University was selected as one of 69 institutions across Africa to host a Carnegie African Diaspora Fellow.

• Dr. Richard Damoah from Morgan State University will focus on Climate Data Acquisition and Analysis in a collaborative project with the SSTL and ECE Department.

• In August 2016, All Nations University also signed an MOU with Morgan State University, Maryland, USA. This new collaboration will benefit faculty and students in all Departments. Awards
