Steven Langdon

Mr. Langdon brings his years of hockey experience to the Burlington Jr. Barracudas team.

Coach Steve achieved his Hockey Canada's High Performance level I certification in 2014 and High Performance Level II on July, 2016.

Steven Langdon has coached boys and girls hockey over the past 25 years. He has two daughters, Ashley and Jessica, who both graduated from Neumann University playing 4 years in the NCAA. His son, Michael, continues to play hockey in Flamborough. The last year coach Langdon was on the bench with his son’s team they won OMHA’s. Steve and his wife Allison have enjoyed watching their children grow into your adults through their participation in hockey.

Coach Langdon has been Director of coach development for both boys and women’s hockey associations. Currently, Coach Steve is the Development Director for Burlington Girls Hockey Association.

Renata Fast

Renata played all of her minor hockey in the Burlington Barracuda's system including playing with the Jr Barracudas. She accepted a scholarship to Clarkson University where she just finished a very successful 4 years playing in the NCAA for the Clarkson Women’s Hockey team. In 2015 as an Alternate Captain Renata helped lead her team to the NCAA semi-finals and was named to the ECAC First All-Star Team and the ECAC All-Academic Team. In 2013-14 Renata helped lead Clarkson to win the NCAA National Championship and was named to the NCAA Frozen Four All-Tournament Team. In 2012-13 she helped Clarkson reach the NCAA tournament quarter-finals and was named to the ECAC All-Academic Team.

Renata attended Canada’s National Women’s Team Fall Festival in Calgary in September 2015 and played with Canada’s National Women’s Development Team for a three-game series against the United States in Lake Placid, N.Y. in August 2015. Renata also won a gold medal with Canada’s National Women’s Development Team at the 2015 Nations Cup in Füssen, Germany and played with the team for a three-game series against the United States in August 2014.

While playing for the Jr. Barracudas, Renata helped her team reach the semifinals of the OWHA INTAA provincials in 2011 and 2012 and the semi-finals of the 2011 PWHL championship. Renata was named MVP of M.M. Robinson High School girls’ hockey and was her school’s female athlete of the year. She has been on Provincial Gold winning teams in both hockey and soccer. Renata lives in Burlington.

Kyle brings a unique and innovation approach to skill development. Combining his elite playing experience and extensive education in kinesiology and motor skill acquisition, he understands the common in-game situations players are in and breaks them into specific skills movement sequences.

Tara Clark

Tara is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario where she completed a four-year Honors degree majoring in Kinesiology with a minor in Rehabilitation Sciences. She then completed a Master’s of Science degree in Physical Therapy at Queen's University. Since graduating Tara has continued to develop her skills, completing courses in soft tissue techniques, McKenzie method, SFMA, concussion management, and obtained her acupuncture certification through the McMaster Medical Acupuncture Program.

Tara was a competitive dancer growing up, competing and choreographing at both the regional and national level. More recently she has gained an interest in running and triathlon, completing numerous races including the New York City Marathon.

Tara believes in maintaining a healthy lifestyle through fitness and activity, and wants to help and guide her patients towards achieving their functional goals
