Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Avey Lane, Waltham Abbey in the District of Epping Forest, from its junction with Pynest Green Lane for adistance of approximately 80m in a southeasterly direction. (Chigwell Lane, Chigwell &Slip Road from M11 to Chigwell Lane) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2019 Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: 1. To temporarily close that length of Chigwell Lane, Chigwell in the District of Epping Forest, from its junction with Abridge Road to its junction with Colson Road (northbound only), adistance of approximately 1235m. 2. To temporarily close that length of Slip from M11 northbound to Loughton, Chigwell from its junction with M11 to its junction with Chigwell Lane, adistance of approximately 450m. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Tawney Lane, StaplefordTawney in the District of Epping Forest, from apoint approximately 1760m south from its junction with Tawney Common for adistance of approximately 290m in asoutherly direction. The closureisscheduled to commence on 19th September 2019 for 6days, or wherestated on avalid permit (EC30034823567 –UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closureisrequired for the safety of the public and workforce while overhead cabling works areundertaken by UK Power Networks. An alternative route is available via Tawney Common, Epping Road, Mount End Road, Mount Road, Colemans Farm Lane, Epping Lane, London Road and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 5th September 2019 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
