THE LAND The land extends to approximately 118.8 acres and the northern section contains four stone walled field enclosures with irregular aggregate field system together with Cairns. The land is contained within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is a County Wildlife Site. The land is also Common Land and is subject to Commoner’s Rights allowing them grazing as set out in the Register of Common Land.

In the north-western corner of the land close to the access track over which there is a right of way, is an Atcost Cattle Shed. Also, towards the centre of the land are the remains of a stone built building contained within a stone walled paddock with a single mature tree close by.
