GIRLS ONLY CLUB – Sew Electric! We are teaming up with the company DSA Electrics in January who will be supporting us in running the club Sew Electric. There is a big drive to get more girls into computing and ‘wearable tech’ is a great start. There will be a number of projects that will be available and students will learn the basics of electrics and how it all works. This is a very exciting project as we have been the drivers of this project in Essex and with the help of STEM, it will then be rolled out to other schools to take part. We hope this will show girls how technology is used in a variety of ways. This will start on Thursday 14th January 2016 in room C22 and is open to all girls in year 7 & 8.
