In an effort to create a fun baseball atmosphere, a la the minor leagues, fans get a unique experience while attending a Sun Devil baseball game at Winkles Field-Packard Stadium at Brock Ballpark. Not only will they get to see exciting Pac-10 base- ball, but many games also feature added bonuses to enhance the experience. One of the most popu- lar events is the annual “Shirt of Our Back Day” Igame. Raffle tickets are sold throughout the game Postgame Fireworks for fans to have the opportunity to win the players and coaches’ jerseys that were worn during that days game. In honor of St. Patrick’s Day, the Devils wear special green ASU hats and socks. Family Sunday games feature inflatables for kids and spe- cially priced ice cream sundaes, served in a com- memorative ASU helmet. Other events include Hispanic Family days, postgame fireworks and one Baseball Card Giveaways of the most popular attractions, player trading card giveaways. The complete set features a baseball card of every Sun Devil student-athlete and head St. Patrick’s Day Caps coach Pat Murphy. A poster is also released each year featuring a Sun Devil in the Power in the Desert pose. This year’s featured Devil is junior shortstop Andrew Romine. The posters are handed out each year during the annual alumni game, where every member of the baseball team takes part in an autograph session. All of these special attractions and more make Winkles Field-Packard Stadium at Brock Ballpark one of the best college baseball experiences in the country.
