TAKING CARE OF THE BALL Despite some recent struggles, Coach Sean Miller’s team has done a good job taking care of the basketball recently and all season. The Wildcats have posted single-digit turnovers in five of their past six games. The outlier was a 20-turnover game against Washington earlier this month. Arizona is 43rd in the country and is second in the Pac-12 in turnovers per game at 11.4. The Cats have a +3.6 turnover margin on the season, which is 24th in the country and leads the Pac-12. The next closest is California at +2.6. Arizona has a +3.9 turnover margin in conference games only, which is also the best mark in the conference. Oregon is the next closest at +3.8. The Wildcats had seven turnovers last time out against Utah and nine the previous game against Washington State.
