______Silent Auction Update From Julian McCracken Following up on the success of the Silent Auction at last year’s induction banquet, we are hopeful of making this year’s Silent Auction portion of the banquet even more successful. After raising $3000 in 2010 in our first foray into using this vehicle to raise funds, this year’s goal is to reach $4000 and we can do it with your assistance. There will be 30 auction items available for your bidding pleasure. You can help us by procuring a gift certificate of gift card from your favorite golf course or restaurant. Or, if you have some neat sports memorabilia then we would welcome that as well. Addition- ally, tickets to see the Phillies, Eagles, Flyers, or Sixers are always welcome. And, of course, we are accepting various bottles of spirits to put into baskets of cheer—always popular items on which to bid. Contact Julian McCracken at [email protected] if you can provide anything of the Silent Auction. If you are able to contribute, we thank you in advance! See you on Saturday, November 5th at the banquet.
