From commemorating the milestone of our 5th Anniversary to booking and selling out six Garth Brooks concerts, our team has a multitude of accomplishments to be proud of. A.J.     Newsletter Colorado, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Texas, Kansas, Mexico August 2015 Walton Arts Center Planning for renovation/expansion For over two decades, Walton Arts Center in Fayetteville, Arkansas has been recognized as a “cultural hub” for the modern arts by continuing to bring internationally acclaimed artists and performances to the region. Walton Arts Center hosts many productions including Broadway, dance, dramatic theater, comedy, jazz, opera, an a cappella competition, Artosphere Arkansas’ Arts + Nature Festival, symphony music and live concerts at their outdoor amphitheater, the Walmart AMP. By connecting and engaging people through these unique arts experiences, Walton Arts Center has formed a central presence in the local community, making a great contribution to Northwest Arkansas and the state’s cultural and economic vitality. Since Walton Arts Center first opened their doors, the regional population has more than doubled whereas the size of the arts center facility and technical capabilities have not. In order to meet the needs of this growing and diverse patron-base – as well as the growing demand for arts and entertainment – expanding and renovating has now become the main focus for Walton Arts Center. The attached report presents the results of our research, analysis, findings, and conclusions and recommendations, and is intended to assist the City in evaluating the viability of the facility. The analyses presented in this report are based on estimates, assumptions, and other information developed from industry research, data provided by the City, the RPCC, and others, interviews with local and industry stakeholders, and analysis of other facilities and markets. The sources of information and the basis of assumptions, estimates, and forecasts are stated in this report. Some assumptions inevitably will not materialize and unanticipated events and circumstances may occur. Therefore, actual results achieved will vary from those described and the variations may be material. The findings presented are based on analysis of present and near-term conditions in the Rapid City area, as well as existing interest levels by potential users for a new arena at the RPCC. Any significant changes in the characteristics of the local community, such as change in population, corporate inventory, and/or competitive facilities, could materially impact conclusions and recommendations developed in this study. As in all studies of this type, the estimated results are based on competent and efficient management of the potential facility and assume that no significant changes in the event markets or assumed immediate and local area market conditions will occur beyond those set forth in this report.

The arena sales tax revenues exceeded projections and totaled $206.5 million. Resulting in $15.9 million for an operations and maintenance reserve fund to be used for major repairs and capital equipment purchases. KMUW Wichita Public Radio is an outreach service of Wichita State University. Vision: To fulfill its mission of public service, Wichita Public Radio will expand the reach and quality of its local news and information programming to become the standard for local reporting of substantive issues, current events of interest to the community and coverage of the arts in and around Wichita. Mount Morrison CCC Camp is one of the few surviving camps in the nation that retains a high concentration of original resources. The amphitheater in the park is one of America’s best known performing arts venues, famous for its natural acoustics, design, and setting. Curtis Culwell Center hosts notable presenters on facility security protocols and engages at annual staff retreat.
