01.01.21 Recovery of one left behind luggage. On 01.01.2021, RPF Post/Asansol(W) received information from RPF Post/ regarding left behind one luggage by a passenger in coach No. S-7, berth No.17of train No. 02304 Dn (Purva Exp. Spl.). When the said train arrived at Asansol Rly station, officers and staff of RPF Post/Asansol(W) attended the said train and recovered the said luggage & brought to the RPF Post/Asansol(W). At about 21:00 hrs. the passenger namely Badruzzaman came to the RPF Post/Asansol(W) and submitted an application for handing over the recovered bag to him. After proper identification and verification, the said bag was handed over to the above person (actual owner). The value of luggage was Rs 2,000/- approx.

01.01.21 Recovery of one left behind bag. On 01.01.2021 RPF Post/ received information from SCNL/Asansol regarding one bag left behind in coach No. S-7, berth No. 77 of Train No. 02304 and passenger detrained at Madhupur. When the said train arrived at Chittaranjan Rly station, on duty officers and staff of RPF out Post/ Chittaranjan attended the said train and recovered the said bag containing new garment and other warm cloth, valued Rs. 7,000/- and matter was informed to passenger. The said bag was handed over to the passenger namely Islam Ansari S/0 Hamif Ansari a resident Bijharia, P.S- Bengabad, Dist- Giridih, Mob No. 74420883051 after proper verification and identification.

01.01.21 Recovery of one left behind bag. On 01.01.2021 information was received regarding one passenger namely Manoj Pandit, PNR No. 614539991, Ex-Tata to Jasidih left his bag by mistake in train No. 08183 UP in his berth, on duty officer and staff of RPF Post/Jasidih attended the said train and recovered his bag with the help of escort party. Then escort party handed over the trolley bag to the RPF/Out Post/Simultala. Thereafter the bag was forwarded to Jasidih on 02.01.2021 and handed over to actual owner with proper verification. Valued of recovered bag Rs. 1,500/-.

03.01.21 Recovery of one left behind luggage. On 03.01.21 at about 08:12 hrs one lady passenger namely Shahin Praveen, w/o Samim Khan, R/o Baidhadih, PS Gandey Distt- Giridih (JH) came to the RPF Post/Madhupur and informed that she put her luggage in a coach of train No. 52513 (Madhupur Giridih passenger) to travel to Maheshmunda Rly station. She went with her child to take breakfast for her child. When she returned after taking breakfast the said train had already left from Madhupur and her luggage as one pithu bag, one white color bag and one yellow color clothing bag were left behind. Accordingly, on duty staff conveyed the message at Jagdishpur camping staff. When the said train arrived at Jagdishpur Rly station on duty staff of Jagdishpur attended the said train and recovered the said luggage. The matter was informed to said lady. After some times said lady came to Jagdishpur Rly station and demanded her luggage with a written requisition. The recovered luggage was handed over to her after verification and documentation. Valued of recovered luggage Rs- 2,000/-.

04.01.21 Recovery of one left behind pitthu bag. On 29.12.2020, RPF Post/Asansol(W) received information from RPF Post/Madhupur regarding left behind one blue colourpitthu bag by a passenger in train No. 02334 Dn (Vibhuti Exp. Spl.). When the said train arrived at Asansol Rly station, officers and staff of RPF Post/Asansol(W) attended the said train and recovered the said bag & brought to the RPF Post/Asansol(W). On 04.01.2020 at about 15:20 hrs the passenger namely Shubham Poddar s/o Rajkishore Poddar a resident of Nawadih, P.S-Polojori, Dist- Pin No. 814146 mob No. 973770774 came to the RPF Post/Asansol(W) and submitted an application for handing over the recovered bag to him. After proper identification and verification the said bag handed over to the above person (actual owner). The value of bag was Rs. 3,000/- (Approx.).

04.01.21 Recovery of 02 nos. left behind bags. On 04.01.2021 at about 22:25 hrs. information was received through CUG phone of SCNL/ASN regarding two nos. left behind bag in D-2 coach near seat no. 65 of train no. 05027 Up (Mourya Express). Accordingly the said train arrived at Barakar PF No. 02, officers and staff of RPF Post/Barakar immediately attended the said train and could be able to recovered the said left behind bags. The matter was informed to the actual owner namely Nikhil Kumar Soni S/O Sheo Nandan Prasad a resident of Aryapuri Ratu Road, Ranchi . On 05.01.2021 the actual owner of the said bag attended at RPF Post/Barakar for claiming the said bags and identified his luggage and found all ok. The recovered bag with luggage Valued Rs 10,000/- (Approx.) was handed over to him after proper verification.

05.01.21 Recovery of left behind printer cartridges. On 05.01.2021 at about 20:25 hrs RPF Post/Barakar received information from SCNL/Asansol regarding left behind of some printer cartridges in D-10 coach of train No. 02339 Up (Coalfield Exp. Spl). when the said train arrived at Barakar PF No. 01, on duty staff of RPF Post/Barakar attended the said coach and recovered the said left behind printer cartridges. With the help of Train escort party after proper enquiry and verification with available passengers of said coach, the matter was informed to its owner namely Supriya Paul S/O Naba Kumar Paul of Mohishila Colony, Pal Para, Asansol 713303. On 06.01.2020 the actual owner came to RPF Post/Barakar and identified the recovered material. As such the recovered materials having value Rs. 3,900/- approx. were handed over to its owner after proper verification.

07.01.21 Recovery of one left behind mobile. On 07.01.2021 at about 02:10 hrs. during round at ticket counter of Jasidih Rly station officer of RPF Post/Jasidih noticed that one mobile phone was connected with power point for charging near ticket counter of Jasidih Rly station and no one was present there. Hence, the mobile phone was recovered and announcement was made for information of passengers. Subsequently, the said mobile phone was brought to RPF Post/Jasidih. Later, one passenger namely Vikash Kumar Mohli aged about 27 hrs. s/o Sri Doman Mohli of Vill- Khas Chakai, P.O- Chakai, P.S- Chakai, Dist- Jamui () came to RPF Post/Jasidih and claimed for the recovered mobile and stated that he left his mobile by mistake while mounted for charging at charging point near ticket counter of Jasidih Rly station. The said mobile was handed over to him after proper verification.The value of mobile was Rs. 1,000/- (Approx.).

09.01.21 Rescue of one Minor girl. On 09.01.2021 on getting information SCNL/Asansol regarding one lady travelling in coach No. 09 of Train No. 02311 Up ( Mail Spl.) without valid railway ticket. When the said arrived at Asansol Rly station, on duty officers and staff (lady staff) of RPF Post/Asansol(W) attended said coach. On duty Train escorting in-charge HC/B. Roy and TTE/S. K. Das Gupta handed over that lady namely Riya Kumari aged 17 year D/O Arjun singhof House No. 22 Main Road Vivek Nagar ChhotaGovindpur. PS- Jamshedpur Sachhi, Dist-East Singhbhum (JH) (831015), Mob No 8235864962, Aadhar No. 803785334025 and brought to RPF Post/Asansol(W) for safe custody by Lady constable staff. On being asked she stated that she fled away from her house. Accordingly contacted many times to her father mob No. 8271629680 and her maternal Aunt mob No 9122957718 but not connected. Later on contacted to her maternal brother Abhishek Singh of mob No. 9163514129 and requested to take her sister from Asansol but he refused to do so. Then said lady handed over to Kajari Sen Gupta Team Member of Railway Child Line/Asansol mob No. 9434205497 for taking necessary action.

09.01.21 Recovered of one left behind trolley bag. On 09.01.2021 a lady passenger named Bibi Jinat Khatun W/O Md. Mohiuddin, Gram Rajapur, PO- Narayanpur, PS- Barahat, Dist.- Banka, (Bihar) having PNR No. 4408015887, Hyderabad to Jasidih, Ex- HWH to JSME, Coach No. S-3, Berth No. 41 of train No. 07005 (Raxaul Festival Spl.) with 02 child and her family de-boarded at Jasidih Railway station from said train and she found her trolley bag had been left on her berth, the train had already left Jasidih Railway station. She immediately informed to on duty RPF officer namely SI/Rupai Sardar who was passing the train on platform. The matter was informed to on duty joint seal checking staff of RPF Post/Jasidih at Jhajha. When the said train arrived at Jhajha on duty staff of Jasidih, camped at Jhaha attended the coach and succeeded in finding left behind trolley bag. Subsequently, the recovered bag was brought to RPF Post/Jasidih and handed over to its actual owner on proper documentation and acknowledgement. The said recovered trolley bag containing new cloth, footwear, mobile etc. valued Rs. 3,500/-.

09.01.21 Arrest of 02 nos. notorious Criminals. On 09.01.2021 a raid has been conducted by the joint team of RPF/STF(NBW) and Asansol (North)/PS at Janshi Rani Ground near loco Masjid - Mahua Dangal, Railway colony area. During raid for execution of NBWs at Railpar area vide R.Coy. GD No. 52 dated 08.01.21, Sri Mondal has identified 02 nos of notorious habituated Mobile snatcher criminals of Rly, who were assembled in vacate area near loco Maszid of Jhansi Rani Ground in suspicious manner. On sharing the information with OC/Asansol North P.S, at about 00.25 hrs. the Police team leaded by ASI/Kajal Saha arrived at about 00.55 hrs. and assembled near loco Maszid. Thereafter the STF team jointly with Police tried to surround both of them and made arrest after a hot chase and scuffled with IPF/Rajesh Mondal. During scuffling, one accused namely Md Nazruddin @Tutua tried to triggered his loaded Arms but tactfully disarmed by the team.During interrogation both arrested person were disclosed their identity as (1) Md. Nazruddin @ Tutua (22 yrs), S/O- Lt. Md. AlluddinQuereshi @ Kallu of Quereshi Mohalla near Masjid, PS- Asansol North, Dist- Paschim Bardhaman and (2) Md. Shiban @ Definet (22 yrs), S/O- Md. Shamim of Makkhu Mohalla, Railpar, PS- Asansol North, Dist- Paschim Bardhaman. Also disclosed that they have assembled for conducting snatching on the point of Deshi pistol in Railway colony area or in any night bound train during its staying period on Outer signal. Further, during search of both arrested person (1) One improvised iron made Pipe gun of length approx. 8.5 inches having barrel, Butt (covered with two pieces of wood in both sides), firing pin, trigger, trigger guard etc. (2) one round 8 MM ammunition, (Seized article noted was loaded into the seized arms (3) one another Live Round of 315/8 mm ), have been recovered from their possession. All these recovered articles were seized under seizure list on the spot and arrested 2 persons were brought to Asansol (North) PS for further lawful action into the matter. In this connection, a case No. 07/21 Dated 09.01.2021 U/S– 25(1B)(a)/ 27 of Arms Act, 1959 has been registered at Asansol North PS.During interrogation both offenders disclosed that, they are regularly committed crime in railway colony and down train stopped on outer signal by snatching the mobile on the point of deshi Arms. They also disclosed that they were also involved in several crime cases under GRPS Asansol and North PS. Tonight, they have planned for committing heinous crime as mentioned above. All the arrested person will be forwarded to LD Court on 09.01.202.

11.01.21 Injury of one male person. On 11.01.2021 at 13:30 hrs, on getting information from Dy SM/Vidyasagar regarding one male person found injured and lying in Up M/L near Km No. 69/35- 37 near Vidyasagar Railway station. On duty staff of RPF Post/Jamtara camped at Vidyasagar immediately attended the P.O and found the person in such condition and removed from Up Rly track from P.O. The said injured person was sent to S.D.Hospital/Jamtara by ambulance for treatment. Father injured person disclosd his name and address as Md. Salauddin M- age 30 y a resident of Village- Chetnari, (Madhupur), P.S- Pathrol, DistDeoghar, No Rly travelling ticket or authority found from injured persan from P.O. The said injured person referred to P.M.C.H/Dhanbad for better treatment by ambulance with his father and relative.

13.01.21 Recovery of one left behind back pack bag. On 13.01.2021 at about 07:25 hrs one person came to RPF Post/Madhupur and informed that he was coming from Jasidih to Madhupur by Train No. 63570 Dn MEMU local. On arrival of the train at Madhupur he detrained with some luggage but his one back pack bag containing one Lenevo Laptop, Mobile charger, wearing apparels etc was left behind by mistake. Immediately the matter was informed to on duty CT/Mukesh Kumar RPF staff of RPF Post/Madhupur, who was then performing TLC duty in the same train with TTE Ex- Madhupur to Jamtara in said train. As per indication of the person, CT/Mukesh Kumar could able to retrieve the said back pack bag from a coach of the train and brought it to RPF Post/Madhupur. After proper verification and documentation, the relieved back pack bag containing one laptop and other articles was handed over to the said person namely Rahul Kumar, S/o Rajendra Yadav of Vill- Nagway, P.S- Jhajha, Distt- Jamui (Bihar) with proper verification. The owner of the bag ascertained the value of retrieved bag containing laptop and other articles as Rs- 20,000/-.

13.01.21 Recovery of one left behind trolley bag. On 13.01.2021 two personS namely Abhay Kant Prasad M-67 years, (Ex-MLA and MP) along with his attendant Sitaram Das (Male-25 yrs.) was travelling by Train No. 08619 Up (Ranchi- Intercity Exp. Spl.) in coach No. SC - 08105/C, Berth No- 25 and 28, PNR No - 6345840942, Ex- Ranchi to Dumka and they de-boarded at Bashukinath Railway station, they left behind there sky blue colour trolley bag containing clothes, books and medicine in the train. Subsequently they informed to RPF staff/Bashukinath and SM/Bashukinath. Accordingly, the matter was informed to RPF Post/Dumka through RPF and SM/Bashukinath. At about 07.05 hrs the said train arrived at Dumka Railway station at PF No. 02, on duty officers and staff of RPF Post/Dumka attended the said train and recovered the said bag. Later the actual owner namely Sitaram Das came to RPF Post/Dumka and the said recovered bag handed over to him after proper identification and verification. Valued of recovered trolley bag Rs- 4,500/-.

13.01.21 Recovery of foreign liquorand arrested one person. On 13.01.2021 acting on source information officers and staff of RPF Post/Jasidih and checked the Jasidih Rly station area near the parcel gate PF No.01 and detained 01 suspected person who was carrying one back pack and one sack. He was creating nuisance among the other passenger. On being searched his back pack (ash & blue colored) containing 17 nos. liquor bottles “IMPERIAL BLUE” (375 ml each bottle) and in another blue colored sack containing 06 nos. liquor bottles “IMPERIAL BLUE” (375 ml each bottle), Total valued Rs. 6,670/-. On being asked he disclosed his name and address Vikash Kumar, male-27 yrs, S/O-Om Prakash Gupta a resident of Purani Bazaar, Brahman Toli, Muzaffarpur, P.S-Town, Distt- Muzaffarpur (Bihar). Further, stated that he carrying this liquor for selling in Bihar area for his personnel gain/profit. Subsequently, the above liquor has been seized at the P.O by IPF of RPF Post/Jasidih in presence of available witnesses under proper seizure list and the said person was taken into custody. Thereafter, the arrested person with seized liquor was brought to RPF/Post/JSME. Further, the arrested person together with seized articles and relevant documents are being handed over to GRP/Jasidih for taking necessary legal action in the purview of Excise Act. In this regard GRPS/Jasidih has registered a case No. 01/2021 dated 13.01.2021 U/S- 290/272/273 IPC & 47A Excise Act.

13.01.21 Arrest of one pick pocketer. On 13.01.2021, at about 05:30 hrs, received information through Rail-Madad that passenger has caught a thief in train No. 03020 Dn (Bagh Festival Spl.). Accordingly, matter was informed to train Escort Party of Train No. 03020 Dn (Bagh festival Spl.) and RPF/Out Post/Chittaranjan. Immediately on duty officer of RPF Post/Chittaranjan, camped at Chittaranjan informed to OC/GRPS/Chittaranjan Sri A.K.Singh. When the said train arrived at Chittaranjan Rly station, on duty officers and staff of RPF/out Post/Chittaranjan& OC/GRPS/Chittaranjan and attended the coach No. S-3 & meet with train Escort Party and lady passenger namely Pushpa Singh (F-40) years, w/o Jamidar Singh of Vill- Kurmitola, Post- Dharoli, P.S- Shiwan, Distt- Shiwan, Bihar and her PNR No. 2314370951, Seat No. S-3- 20, 21, 22 but the said lady passenger was refused to give a written complaint about theft of her 01 mobile (Vivo-A52), valued Rs.20,000/- and cash Rs. 2,000/- which was pick pocketed by one arrested person and same was returned back to said lady passenger. But she did not willing to lodge any FIR against the person. RPF and GRP/OC with staff taken down the thief from said train and kept in Hazat at GRP/Chittaranjan office. In this connection, GRP/OC/Chittaranjan registered a case vide No. 04/21 Dt- 13.01.21 U/S - 109 CrPC against one male person namely Bharat Sharma aged about 28 years s/o Suresh Sharma of Galli- 08, Joti Park, Gurgaon, PS+Dist- Gurgaon Hariyana and send him to SDM/Court Jamtara for taking action.

14.01.21 Rescue of one minor girl. On 14:1:2021 at about 03:50 hrs on duty officer of RPF Post/Asansol(W) during round at Asansol Rly station and noticed one minor boy aged about 15 yrs loitering aimlessly in distressed condition at FOB of Asansol Rly station. On suspicion he was detained and on being asked he disclosed his name and identity as Rohit Kr Yadav, S/O Late- Hare Krishna Yadav of Ward No. 5, Rani Begusarai, P.S Bacchawara, Bihar- 851111 and stated that he had fled away from his home on 13.01.2021 without informed his guardian as his uncle scolded him. Subsequently the rescued boy was handed over to Child Line/Asansol after observing all formalities and under acknowledgement.

14.01.21 Rescue of one minor girl. On 14.01.2021 at about 07:20 hrs officers and staff of RPF Post/Jasidih was round over Jasidih Rly station area. In course of round, they noticed that 01 minor child girl was roaming aimlessly at PF No.01 near Howrah End alone. On being interrogated she disclosed her name and address as Devaki Kumari, Female-13 yrs, D/O-Rishideo Yadav of Gosichak, Marpa, , Marpa, Mehrma , Distt- , (Jharkhand) and further revealed that she has run away from her home without any intimation to their family members due to some dispute in her family & now want go to Delhi by any Delhi bound Train. Further, she was brought to RPF Post/Jasidih and after taking all identification the matter was informed to Child line Deoghar over mobile phone. After sometimes two representatives of Child Line/Deoghar appeared at RPF Post/Jasidih and said child was handed over to team member Anita Kumari and Ranjit Kumar of child line Deoghar under proper acknowledgement.

14.01.21 Rescue of one minor girl. On 14.01.2021 at about 23:35 hrs. one minor girl was rescued by on duty train escort party in train No. 02351 Up (Howrah Rajendra Nagar Exp Spl.) who was roaming in scared and distressed condition in said train. The said girl handed over to RPF Post/Asansol(W). On being asked she disclosed her name as Anisa Khatun aged about 17 yrs. D/o Md. Jasir of 15 No. B.B.BaganPilkhana Howrah (North), P.S- Golabari, Dist- Howrah and stated that she got separated from her parents due to heavy rush at Sealdah Rly station. Accordingly, the matter was informed to her father over mobile phone. On 15.01.2021 at about 08:20 hrs. her mother namely Sakina Begam came to RPF Post/Asansol(W) and submitted an application for handing to over her. After proper verification the said rescued girl handed over to her mother in good condition in presence of available witnesses.

15.01.21 Recovery of one left behind Mobile. On 15.01.2021 train escorting party of train No. 03287 (South Vihar Exp), Ex- ASN to JAJ, received an information from on duty staff of RPF Post/Madhupur regarding one Bonafide passenger namely Md. Sakur with family having PNR No-6145434470 travelling Ex-Raipur to Jasidih in Coach No. S-5 at berth No. 10,11,13. They mistakenly de-boarded the said train at Madhupur Rly Station with his family and left behind his mobile on the said berth. Accordingly, on duty train escort party checked the said coach and recovered the said Mobile Phone (Itel Vision) and deposited at PS-Cell/Asansol office. At about 19:00 hrs. the said passenger namely- Md. Sakur (M/No. 8982380013) came to the PS-Cell/Asansol with a written application to collect the mobile. After proper verification the said mobile handed over to him. Valued of the mobile Rs. 7,500/-(approx.).

15.01.21 Rescue of one minor boy. On 15.01.2021 at about 03:55 hrs officers and staff of RPF Post/Jasidih was on round over Jasidih Rly station area. In course of round, they noticed that one minor boy was moving aimlessly alone at Kalka end of Jasidih PF No. 02/03. On being interrogated he disclosed his name and address as Mr. Raj, male-12 yrs, S/O-Ram Prasad of Vill- Jokajalmray, P.S- Bela, Distt- Purnia, Bihar, 854304 and he stated that in the night of 14.01.20121 came to Jasidih station with his uncle for going to Katihar by train via Barauni but unfortunately, he left behind from his uncle named Pujari who probably boarded in train No. 08181 Up (Chhapra Festival Spl.). Further this message was intimated to on duty staff Constable/Amit Sharma of RPF Post/Jasidih, deployed for joint seal checking at Jhajha for announcement during arrival of said train at Jhajha. On being noticed of announcement through PA system at Jhajha his uncle de-boarded at Jhajha and came to RPF Post/Jasidih. After proper identification and documentation, the said minor boy was handed over to his uncle under proper acknowledgement.

15.01.21 Arrest of 05 nos. notorious Criminals. On 15.01.2021 a raid has been conducted by the joint team of RPF/STF(NBW) and Asansol (North)/PS at the field in front of MMU School, Loco Quarter, Railpar, PS- Asansol North, Dist- Paschim Bardhaman and 05 notorious criminals were arrested with (1) One Iron made Bhojali (2) One Iron Rod, (3) One Iron Rod (4) One lathi measuring about 03 feet, (5) One lathi measuring about 04 feet, (6) One torch light, with intension to commit any heinous crime in night bound train or Railway colony area. The raid has been conducted by the joint team of RPF STF(NBW) and Asansol (North) PS at at the field in front of MMU School, Loco Quarter, Railpar, PS-Asansol North, Dist-Paschim Bardhaman. During raid for execution of NBWs at and around Railpar area vide R.Coy. GD no. 41 dated 14.01.21, IPF/PS Cell/Asansol Sri Rajesh Mondal has identified 3 nos of notorious habituate Rly. criminals of Mobile snatcher, along with other 5-6 unknown, who were assembled in vacate area near MMU Rly. Institute, near loco quarter in suspicious manner. On sharing the information with OC/Asansol North P.S, at about 00.45 hrs. the Police team lead by ASI/Kajal Saha arrive at about 00.55 hrs. and assembled near Kasai Mohalla. Thereafter the STF team jointly with Police and tried to surround all of them and made arrest three of them after a hot chase. All of under PS- Asansol North, Dist.- Paschim Bardhaman Also disclosed that they have assembled for committing dacoity in Railway quarter area as per their convenient. Further during search of all above arrested person above mentioned lethal weapons have been recovered from each individual. All these recovered articles were seized under seizure list on the spot and arrested 5 persons were brought to Asansol (North) PS for further lawful action into the matter. In this connection, case No- 13/21, dated-15.01.2021, U/S- 399, 402 IPC has been registered at Asansol North PS against arrested persons. During interrogation all of arrested offenders disclosed that, they are regularly committed crime in railway colony and some night bound train stopped on outer signal by snatching the mobile on the point of Arms or knife. They also disclosed that they were also involved in several crime cases under GRPS Asansol and North PS. They have earned by this way to meet huge expenses on purchasing of Narcotic substances like brown sugar, smack, Ganja etc. Tonight, they have planned for committing dacoity as mentioned above. All the arrested persons have been forwarded to LD Court on 15.01.2021.

16.01.21 Recovery of one left behind bag. On 16.01.2021 at about 15:35 hrs on duty officer and staff of RPF Post/ recovered a Blue color Pitthu bag from Train No. 01448 in coach No. S/2, seat No. 3 at Raniganj Rly station as per information of SCNL/Asansol. Later on, complainant namely Jitender Prasad, s/o Laxman Prasad of Burn company, , P.S- Cokeoven, Dist. West Bardhaman(WB) arrived at RPF Post/Raniganj at about 18:40 hrs and the same bag containing 02 new trousers, one woolen Shawl was handed over to him after proper verification. The value of recovered articles was ascertained by owner Rs. 800/- approx.

16.01.21 Recovery of left behind bag. On 16.01.2021 one left behind bag was recovered by on duty RPF train escort party of train No. 02339 UP (Coalfield Exp) in berth No. 14 at Asansol Rly station. They traced out the actual owner of the bag but nobody came out. After the escort party deposited the same at PS-Cell/Asansol. On 17.01.2021 one person came to RPF PS/Cell Asansol with a written application to collect the said bag. On being asked he disclosed his name as Arjun Rana Ghosh of Hindustan Park, Asansol also stated that on 16.01.21 he coming from HWH in Train No.-02339 Up (Coalfield Exp.) having PNR-6645984645 in coach No. D-7, Ex HWH –ASN got down at Asansol Rly Station and mistakenly left behind his bag, containing 02 nos. book worth Rs=900/-and a Snip (Rs=20/-), Total valued Rs- 920/-. After proper verification and documentation, the said bag containing above handed over to him.

17.01.21 Rescue of three minor girl. On 17.01.202 at about 20:00 hrs. on duty RPF lady staff of RPF Post/Asansol(W) noticed three minor girls were loitering aimlessly near main Gate of Asansol Rly station in suspicious manner. Hence, they were brought to the RPF Post/Asansol(W) for interrogation. During interrogation They disclosed their Name and address as 1. Afreen Khatun, 16 year, D/o- Naushad Khan of Durgapur Main gate, P.S- Waria, Dist- Paschim Bardhwan (WB). 2. Nisha Sharma, 16 year, D/O-Jai kishore Sharma of Durgapur Main gate, P.S- Waria, Dist- Paschim Bardhwan (WB), 3. Khusbu Pandit 16 year D/o-Budhhu Pandit of Durgapur Main gate, P.S- Waria, Dist- Paschim Bardhwan (WB). Afreen Khatun stated that they left home for tuition but on the way, they planned "they shall go Mumbai for tour, where lives her maternal aunt. but on duty staff detained them when they were trying to enter into station. Accordingly, the matter was informed to their parents over given mobile number. At about 22:00 hrs their parents came to the RPF Post/Asansol(W) and submitted an application for handing over the rescued minor girl. After proper verification minor girls were handed over to their parents in good health and good condition.

18.01.21 Recovery of one trolley bag. On 18.01.2021 one person namely Faisal Jawed was travelling by train No. 02369 Up (HWH – DDN Spl.) in coach No. D-2, Berth No. 17. During his journey he forgot his black colored trolley bag, which cost approximately Rs. 15,000/-. Thereafter, he informed to the RPF Staff of Madhupur. Accordingly, the matter was informed to RPF Post/Jasidih. After the matter was informed to on duty joint seal checking staff of RPF Post/Jasidih at Jhajha. When the said train arrived at Jhajha Rly station, on duty staff of Jasidih, camped at Jhajha attended the coach and recovered the said trolley bag. Subsequently, the recovered trolley bag was brought to RPF Post/Jasidih and handed over to its actual owner on proper documentation and acknowledgement.

18.01.21 Recovery of one left behind mobile. On 18.01.2021 at about 05:30 hrs. on duty officers and staff of RPF Post/Jasidih was round over Jasidih Rly station area. In course of round, they noticed that one mobile phone was connected with power point for charging at Kalka end of Platform No. 2 of Jasidih station and no one is present there. Hence, he recovered that mobile phone and relay the massage among the passengers regarding the recovery of mobile phone. Subsequently, he brought the mobile phone at RPF Post/Jasidih. Later, one passenger appeared at RPF Post/Jasidih for claiming the recovered mobile. On interrogation it learnt that he was the actual owner of recovered mobile and he left behind his mobile by mistake while he put it on charge at charging point Therefore, the recovered mobile was handed over to him with proper documentation and acknowledgement.

22.01.21 Recovery of one left behind mobile On 22.01.2021 one left behind mobile was recovered from Durgapur PF No. 03 by on duty RPF officer/Durgapur. On enquiry it was revealed from contact numbers in said mobile information has been given to actual owner namely Vakil aged about 68 yrs. a resident of 38/06 Fakir Bagan, Howrah, P.S- Golabari, Howrah. Accordingly, the said person attended RPF Post/Durgapur for claiming the said mobile. After proper verification the said recovered mobile was handed over to Actual owner. Valued of the mobile Rs. 5,000/-(approx.).

24.01.21 Arrest of one pick pocketer. On 24.01.2021 at 11:14 hrs, Train No. 63567 Up (ASN-JAJ MEMU Local) arrived at Madhupur Rly. station PF No. 02, when officers and staff of RPF Post/Madhupur noticed one person in suspicious manner entered into a coach of the train. After a while when the said person detrained from the coach, SI/Vinod Kumar detained him and on check found one wallet containing two five-hundred-rupee notes, one Adhar card of PappuRawani from his possession. On being asked the detained person failed to give any satisfactory reply rather accepted his guilt of committing pickpocketing of a person inside the coach of the local train at Madhupur station. He also disclosed his identity as Md. Azad, Age about 40 years, s/o Late Saffique Ansari, Vill- Patwabad, P.S- Madhupur, Distt- Deoghar, Jharkhand. Hence, SI/Vinod Kumar seized the recovered articles on the spot in the presence of available witnesses. In the meantime the victim, namely PappuRawani appeared there and identified the seized wallet as his own and stated that it was stolen from the pocket of his jeans trouser in the local train. Thereafter detained accused Md Azad, the seized articles and relevent papers were brought to GRPS/Madhupur and handed over with a written complaint submitted by SI Vinod Kumar of RPF/ Post/ MDP. Basing of the complaint, a case No. 01/21, dated 24.01.2021, U/S 379, 411 IPC is registered at GRPS/Madhupur against the arrested person namely Md. Azad.

24.01.21 Recovery of one left behind mobile. On 24.01.21 at about 17:22 hrs. one passenger namely Shivam Kumar Gupta of s/o Satynarayan Shaw of Margomunda, P.O- Margomunda, P.S- Karo, Dist- Deoghar having Tickets PNR No- 6246258455, Mob No. 9789021805 of Train No. 02305 came at RPF Post/Madhupur and informed that he along with his sister were coming from HWH for Madhupur by the above noted train in coach No H-1/cabin A on Barth 1 & 2 and on arrival at Madhupur Rly station at about 17:15 hrs, they get down from the train but his Mobile (OPPO valued Rs 13,000/-) with charger was left behind in said cabin. Immediately, the matter was informed to Escort duty party namely Const/Deepak Kumar which were escorted from HWH to JSME. SI/P.Kumar with 05 staff of RPF/HWN/Post of HWH/DIV were detailed for escorting duty. Immediately they recovered the mobile from the said cabin and got down at destination station Jasidih. During his returning from JSME to ASN by staff shuttle EMU the same were handed over to RPF Post/Madhupur. After proper verification to owner and after giving a written application recovered Mobile was handed over to him.

25.01.21 Rescue of one Lady On 25.01.2021 information was received form SM/Jasidih regarding detrain of one girl from train No 08619 between Madhupur - Chittaranjan Rly Station. According officers and staff of RPF Post/Jamtara camped at Vidyasagar immediately attended the PF area and rescued said girl namely Amrita Kumari aged about 20 year D/O Sri Kundan Kumar Singh, a resident of Police Line Dabar Gram, Jasidih, Dist-Deoghar, was travelling in Train No. 08619 Up Ranchi - Dumka exp, from DHN to JSME having PNR No. 6246210115, Coach No- D1, Seat No. 35, 36 with her mother but she mistakenly detrained at Vidyasagar Rly Station and brought to RPF Post/Jamtara. Being informed, her father and other relatives came to RPF JMT post and said rescued girl was handed over to her father after proper identification and documentation in presence of available witness.

27.01.21 Recovery of one left behind laptop bag. On 27.01.2021 on duty train escorting party of train No. 08181 UP (TATA-CPR Exp.), Ex- ASN to JAJ and Train No. 08184 (DNR-TATA Exp, Spl.), EX JAJ to ASN. During their train escort duty received a call from SCNL/Asansol regarding left behind one laptop bag with laptop of one bonafide passenger namely Yashpal Manik having PNR No. 6646077596, (C-1 Seat No. 24) of train No. 08184 (DNR – TATA Exp. Spl.), Ex- Patna to Jasidih, he got down at Jasidih Rly Station and mistakenly left behind his laptop bag in said coach. After getting information regarding above they checked the said coach and recovered the said laptop bag (containing 01 Sony laptop with charger + 01 Samsung mobile Phone and 02 diary and deposited at PS-Cell/Asansol office. Accordingly, the matter was informed to SCNL/Asansol. At about 15:00 hrs the said passenger namely Yashpal Manik (M/No. 7488240207) came to the PS- Cell/Asansol with a written application to collect the Laptop bag with laptop and mobile. After proper verification and documentation, the said recovered laptop bag with laptop and charger, 01 Samsung mobile handed over to him. Valued of the recovered item approx. Rs. 50,000/- (Fifty thousand only) as per passenger.

28.01.21 Arrest of one criminal. On 28.01.2021 information received from SCNL/DNR regarding lodging of a complaint through 182 (Security helpline) by a bonafide passenger namely RishabJaishwal of Station roadMahanar, Vaishali (Bihar-844506) having PNR No.6146337869, (S-6, berth No. 3) Ex- Shalimar to Patna as his mobile was stolen. On duty Train Escort Party/Asansol immediately meet with the complainant, he stated that one suspected unknown person was sitting behind his berth and kept his Mobile phone (Redmi, Note -5, No. 9110969916) when he was sleeping. Accordingly, the escort party identified that person with recovery of missing mobile in his jacket. On interrogation apprehended person disclosed his name as Md. Toqir Anwar (M-20 Yrs.) S/o- Md. Anwar Mustafa of Vill- Shemri, Mukhdumpur, Dist.-Bokaro, PS- Walidhi, Jharkhand and taken in to the custody. When the said train arrived at Patna Rly. Station officer & staff of RPF Post/Patna also attended and they brought to Rail PS Patna Jn. to handover the accused for legal action. In this connection GRPS/Patna registered a case vide No-34/2021 dtd.28.01.2021 U/S-379/411 IPC. After completion of legal formalities the stolen mobile phone was handed over to the complainant.

31.01.21 Rescue of one old aged lady On 31.01.2021 at about 09:20 hrs, one passenger namely Ajay Kandaiburu S/O Late TuriKandaiburu a resident of Qtr No:19 JKL , Traffic Railway Colony , PS: Asansol South, Dist- Paschim Bardhaman) came to RPF Post/ASN(W) and reported to SI/Subhra Dey that on the same he along with his mother namely LudriKui aged 70 yrs. came to Asansol station to avail train for Kumardubi and subsequently his mother got lost and he wanted help. After observing CCTV footage it was revealed that his mother boarded a BWN bound train which departed from Platform No. 5 of Asansol station at 09:00 hrs. Immediately the matter was inform to on duty RPF Post/Durgapur with photograph of Smt. LudriKui. Accordingly, the train reached at Durgapur Station, the said lady has detrained and handed over to Train escort party of RPF Post/Asansol (Wes) at DGR for sent to RPF Post/Asansol(W). Finally, the lady was handed over to her son under proper acknowledgement.

31.01.21 Rescue of one minor girl. On 31.01.2021 at about 18.40 hrs. information was received from SCNL/ASN regarding rescued of one 10 yrs. girl by the Train Escort Party of Tr. No. 05049 Up. when the said train arrived at Jasidih PF. No. 03 at about 20.15 hrs officers and staff of RPF Post/Jasidih immediately attended the S-2 coach and taken the said rescued girl and brought to RPF Post/Jasidih. During enquiry she stated her name and address as Saraswati Mondal, aged about 10 yrs, D/O- Gopal Mondal, a resident of Vill- Rampurhat, Distt- Birbhum, ().Accordingly, the matter was informed to child help line/Deoghar. On the same day at about 22:20 hrs. Ankita Kumari, Team Member of child helpline/Deoghar and Ranjit Kumar, Coordinator Child line/Deoghar attended at RPF Post/Jasidih and the said rescued girl was handed over to them after proper documentation as well as a photograph was taken while handing over the said rescued girl.

02.02.21 Rescue of two minors girl. On 02.02.2021, while on duty officer of RPF Post/Jasidih was round on PF No. 01 of Jasidih Railway station, noticed 02 minor girls were moving in suspicious manner and no one adult person was with them. On being asked they disclosed their identity as (i) Guriya Kumari, Female, Age- 13 yrs, D/O- Bhaurshan Chaudhary a resident of Vill- Singdiha, Post- Sarmeha, P.S- Sarmeha, Dist- Nalanda, (Bihar). (ii) Laalti Kumari, Female, Age- 12 yrs, D/O- Bhunel Chauhan a resident of Vill- Singdiha, Post- Sarmeha, P.S- Sarmeha, Dist- Nalanda, (Bihar) and also they revealed that they de-boarded from train No. 02024 DN (Patna - HowrohJansatabdi Exp) and they fled away from their house because of their parents beat them. Now they were looking for shelter. Subsequently they were rescued and brought to RPF Post/Jasidih. Accordingly, the matter was informed to their parents over mobile provided by the rescued girls but call was not received by their parents. Hence, the matter was informed to Child Line/Deoghar. Later, Ankita Kumari along with Shivsagar Das, Team Member, Child Line/Deoghar attended RPF Post/Jasidih. The rescued girls were counseled by the Child Line team member. Further, both rescued minor girls were handed over to Child Line/Deoghar on proper documentation and acknowledgment on 02.02.2021.

03.02.21 Recovery of one left behind bag. On 03.02.2021 RPF Post/Madhupur received information from RPF Post/Jasidih regarding left behind of a bag on seat in S-6 coach berth No. 73 &76 of train No. 02332 DN (Himgiri Express Spl.). When the said train arrived at Madhupur Rly station PF No. 03 at 06:36 hrs, on duty officers and staff of RPF Post/Madhupur attended the said coach and could able to recover the said bag and brought to RPF Post/Madhupur. On being informed the actual owner of the bag came to RPF Post/Madhupur and disclosed his identity as Subodh Kumar Mondal S/O Medi Kumar Mondal, of Vill.-Baidachak, P.O.- Lakh pura, P.S.- Panjari, Distt.- Banka ( Bihar ) and stated that he was traveling in S-6 coach of train No. 02332 Dn from JAT to JSME. During deboarding at Jasidih he forgot to deboard with the bag in the said train. Accordingly, the recovered bag was handed over to him after proper verification and documentation. The bag containing two nos. gold ear rings, one gold locket, two pair silver anklets, Rs 10,000/- liquid cash, wearing apparels etc., Value of the bag ascertained by the owner is Rs. 75,000/-(approx.).

03.02.21 Arrest of one TOPB criminal. On 03.02.2021 on duty officers and staff of RPF Post/Madhupur were detailed at Madankata station for keeping special watch on TOPB activities. GRP personnel were also detailed there for the same purpose. While the Train No. 73539 Up (UDL- JSME Local) arrived at Madankata Rly station at 09:43 hrs, one person deboarded from the train and started to flee away in suspicious manner. On suspicion, SI/Mahendra Kumar and other staff chased him and could able to detain him. In the meantime, one person appeared there and stated that this person committed pick pocketing and had stolen three thousand rupees (6 five hundred rupee notes) from his pocket. On search the pocket of the suspected person, 06 five thousand rupee notes were recovered. On being asked, the suspected person admitted his guilt of committing pick pocketing and disclosed his identity as Irfan Ansari @ GodoMian, Age about 25 years, S/O Anwar Ansari, R/O Vill- Badia, Murlipahari, P.S- Margomunda, Dist- Deoghar (Jharkhand). The victim also disclosed his name as Kamruddin Ansari, S/O Lt. Rashid Ansari, R/O- Vill- Dhamni, P.S- Budai, Dist- Deoghar (Jharkhand). Then SI/Mahendra Prasad seized the recovered cash ofrupees 3,000/- and arrested the accused Irfan Ansari and brought both the accused & victim to Madhupur with the assistance other staff. Thereafter arrested accused Irfan Ansari, the seized articles and relevant papers were brought to GRPS/Madhupur and handed over with a written complaint submitted by SI/Mahendra Prasad. Basing of the complaint, a case No. 02/21, dated 03.02.2021, U/S 379, 411 IPC has been registered at GRPS/Madhupur against accused Irfan Ansari.

03.02.21 Rescue of one minor boy. On 03.02.21 at about 21:50 while on duty officers and staff of RPF Post/Durgapur round at Durgapur PF No. 03, noticed that one minor age child age about 13 yrs moving alone aimlessly on suspicious manner. On being asked he disclosed his identity as Ayusorawn, age 13 yrs, S/O Lt Ajitorawn a resident of Sighaniya Bagan Birpara Jalpaiguri, P.S- Alipur, Dist- Jalpaiguri (WB). After that he stated that about 6 months ago, he was fled away from his home and working in a hotel at but hotel owner did not paid for his work so fled away and boarded in train No. 03185 Up (Gangasagar Exp. Spl.) from Sealdah Rly station and reached to Durgapur. Further the said rescued child brought to RPF Post/Durgapur and provided him to a fresh meal and inform to Railway Child Line/Asansol as well as PC/Durgapur. At about 23:25 hrs a representative of Railway Child Line/Asansol namely Suman Gorai (team member of railway child line Asansol) attended to RPF Post/Durgapur, after completion of some legal formalities the said rescued child has been handed over to him with proper documentation.

04.02.21 Arrest of 01 nos. notorious Criminals of TOPB. On 04.02.2021 a raid has been conducted by the joint team of RPF/STF/Asansol and GRPS/Asansol were arrested 01 nos. notorious Criminals of TOPB with one Honor mobile set (golden color), one ladies purse with some documents. Intelligence output shared by Inspector, Rajesh Mondal/Passrnger Security and STF team, Asansol to IC/GRPS/Asansol regarding dealings of stolen articles near PF No- 07 of Asansol Railway station. Accordingly, a raiding team comprised with STF/RPF/ASN and GRPS/Asansol conducted raid at Delhi end of PF No- 07 of Asansol Asansol Railway Station at about 03.45 hrs. During such raid the STF team jointly with Police tried to surround the suspected person at the mentioned place and made arrest after a hot chase. During interrogation arrested person disclosed his identity as (1) Md. Sajjad @ Barka Raja(32 yrs) S/O- Md. Firoj of Maku Mohalla near Masjid, PS- Asansol North, Dist- Paschim Bardhaman. Also disclosed that he is a habituate offender of TOPB, boarded train from Asansol Rly station and committing snatching when trains have just left platform and used to run away by jumping down from the train. During search of arrested person one android mobile phone made by Honor company, one ladies purse and some documents like Aadhaar card and PAN Card of Koushalya Devi, C/O- Narayan prasad of Ghoranegi PS- Chandil, Saraikela, Jharkhand, voter identity card, bank pass book of one Narayan Prasad of Shyama Prasad, resident as above have been recovered from his possession. During interrogation the detained person disclosed that he had stolen the mentioned recovered articles previously from the running trains and today he arrived at Asansol Rly station for selling purpose of stolen articles (Valued Rs. 10,000/-). As such the arrested person was forwarded to LD Court on 04.02.2021 in connection of GRPS/Asansol case no- 53/2020 dt- 20.10.2020 U/S- 379 IPC. During interrogation the offender disclosed that he is regularly committing crime with passengers in running trains and down train stopped on outer signal by snatching the mobile and ladies purse etc. He also disclosed that he was also involved in several crime cases under GRPS Asansol and North PS like Asansol GRPS case No- 18/18 date- 09.06.18 U/S- 399/402 IPC and 45/11 U/S- 379 IPC.

04.02.21 Good work done by RPF staff. On 04.02.2021getting information from SCNL/Asansol regarding missing of Rly Medical Card & Rly UMID Card of one Railway Employee namely Vijay Kumar, Running Goods Guard of Railways. Immediately officers & staff of RPF Post/Sitarampur went towards Neyamatpur and met with one person namely Rajaram Shaw S/O- Santosh Shaw a resident of NeyamatpurLithuria Road, Paschim Burdwan(WB) who found the above mentioned cards on 03.02.2021. officers and staff of RPF Post/Sitarampur taken the cards from the person and searched the taken place & its adjacent area. On 04.02.2021 father-in-law of Sri Vijay Kumar came to RPF Post/Sitarampur and demanded the above cards on the behalf of Vijay Kumar. Accordingly after verifying and confirming the Rly medical card & Rly UMID Card handed over to Sri Billu Kumar Singh (Father-in-law of Vijay Kumar) R/O-, Hill Road, PS-Mihijam, Dist.-Jamtara(WB) with proper verification.

04.02.21 Recovery of one money bag. On 04.02.21, at about 10:00 hrs, on duty staff of RPF Post/Durgapur found a money bag fallen unclaimed at Durgapur PF No. 02/03. After recovery, she took every efforts for claimant, but no one came forward. Further, she informed the matter to on duty officer and as per ID card available in the purse, information was given to its owner. At about, 13.00 hours the owner of the money bag, Sri Sumanata Dey, SE/IT of accounts department, under PCPO/ER office, 9433346353 attended at RPF Post/Durgapur and after proper verification, the said money bag was handed over to him. Valued of the mobile Rs. 4,340/-(approx.).

04.02.21 Rescue of one minor boy. On 04.02.2021 at 19:45 hrs an information conveyed by SCNL/Asansol that one person asking help through 'Rail Madad' that a boy has fled away from home and was traveling in D-3 coach of Train No. 03106 Dn (Balia - SealdahSpl.). Accordingly, the matter was informed to RPF Post/Madhupur, when the said train arrived at Madhupur PF No. 03 at about 19:53 and could able to rescue the said boy from the D-3 coach of the said train and brought to RPF Post/Madhupur. On being asked the boy disclosed his identity as Abhinandan Kumar Singh, Age 15 years, S/O Anil Kumar Singh a resident of Jakopur, P.O + P.S - Mahnar, Vaisali, Bihar 844506 and produced Adhar card of his own. He also stated that he was going to Kolkata in search of job and to earn money. The matter informed to SCNL/Asansol and the father of the rescued boy at his native place. Also provided dinner to the rescued boy and took proper care. On 05.02.2021 morning, Sri Anil Kumar Singh, the father of the rescue boy and Sri Mahadev Kumar Singh, the cousin of the boy appeared at RPF Post/Madhupur and handed over the rescue boy to them after proper verification and identification.

05.02.21 Recovery of one left behind bag. On 05.02.2021, getting information through CUG mobile of SCNL/Asansol regarding left behind one blue color bag, being kept one gold ornament, value Rs-15,000/ and useful clothes, on birth No 40, coach No- S-6 of train No. 02387 (Howrah – Bikaner SF Spl.) of a passenger namely Ramjan Ali (36year) having Pnr no-6446709288, traveling Ex HWH to Bikaner and the passenger got down at Burdwan. Accordingly, on arrival of the said train at Asansol Rly station, on duty officers and staff of RPF Post/Asansol(W) attended the train and recovered the said bag. The said bag was brought to RPF Post/Asansol(W). After some time the passenger came to the RPF Post/Asansol(W) and submitted an application for handing over it. After proper verification it was handed over to him. Total value of goods about Rs. 20,000/.

05.02.21 Recovery of one left behind mobile. On 05.02.2021, while on duty officer of RPF Post/Jasidih was on round at PF No. 01 of Jasidih Railway station, noticed that one mobile phone with charger was connected with power point for charging at FOB Kalka End near tea stall PF No. 01 Jasidih Railway station and no one is present there. Hence, they recovered that mobile phone with charger and relay the massage among the passengers regarding the recovery of mobile phone. Subsequently, they brought the mobile phone at RPF Post/Jasidih. Later, one passenger namely Alok Kumar, Male, S/O- Ranjit Prasad Gupta a resident of Baghmara, Dumka (Bihar) appeared at RPF Post/Jasidih for claiming the recovered mobile. On interrogation it came into learnt that he was the actual honour of recovered mobile and he left behind his mobile phone mistakely at charging point near FOB Kalka End near tea stall PF No. 01 Jasidih Railway station while the same was on charge. The recovered mobile was handed over to him on proper documentation and acknowledgement. Value of recovered mobile Rs. 9,000/-

09.02.21 Recovery of one left behind bag. On 09.02.2021 RPF Post/Durgapur received an information from RPF Post/Asansol(West) regarding left behind of one blue colour bag and a jacket of one passenger in S-10 coach of train No. 02382 (NDLS-HWH Spl.) who detrained at Asansol Rly station. When the said train arrived at at about 14:15 hrs, officer & staff of RPF Post/Durgapur attended the said train and recovered the left behind bag containing personal belongings and intimated to the passenger over his mobile. Later, in the evening the passenger namely ShivamMalakar, a resident of Azadnagar Transit Camp, Rudrapur, Uttarakhand attended at RPF Post/Durgapur and identified his bag. As such the retrieved bag with the jacket has been handed over to him after due verification under proper documentation. Value of returned over property is assessed as Rs. 2,500/-.

09.02.21 Recovery of one left behind bag. On 09.02.2021, on getting information from SCNL/Asansol regarding a complaint in Rail Madad in connection with one unattended bag kept in coach No D-1, seat No 59 of train No. 08620 (DMK - RNC), officers and staff of RPF Post/Jamtara attended the said train which was arrived at Jamtara PF No. 02 at 21:58 hrs and found one red colour bag is laying in coach No. D-1 beneath seat No. 59. Being asked no any passengers came forward to claim the bag as owner. The bag brought to SM/office Jamtara and open in presence of on duty SM/Jamtara and found Rice about 05 Kg, onion 02 Kg, 01 Kg chura, 500 split grain and one dairy (old). The said bag kept in RPF Post/Jamtara for safe custody. The matter was informed to actual owner of said bag. On 10.02.2021 the owner. of the bag namely Pradip Soren S/O Naresh Soren, a resident of Latberwa, P.S- , Dist- Dumka who was travelling in said train vide PNR No. 6446965828 WL came to RPF Post/Jamtara and stated that during his journey in said train on 09.02.2021, he kept the said bag in above coach & seat. He also stated that he was seating in coach No. D- 2 instead of coach No. D-1. While searching the bag by him, he learnt that the bag was detrained by RPF staff at Jamtara on complaint of other passenger of the said train. The said recover bag was handed over to him with proper identification and documentation. Value of containing Rs. 1,000/-.

11.02.21 Rescue of one boy and girl. On 11.02.2021 at about 19:55 hrs. on duty officers and staff of RPF Post/Asansol(W) along with CIB/Asansol while moving on platform No. 02 of Asansol Rly station, noticed that one boy about 19 yrs. and one girl aged about 15 yrs. sitting on the chairs in suspicious manner. On being asked they disclosed their identity as (i) Suraj Kumar aged about 19 yrs. s/o Santosh Paswan a resident of Haripur 79 Chharra Colliery, P.S- Bahula, Dist- Paschim Bardhaman(WB), (ii) NituTuri aged about 15 yrs. D/o- Krishna Turi a resident of Motibazar New Quarter, P.S- Andal, Dist-Paschim Bardhaman(WB) but they could not give any satisfactory reply for being on platform. Accordingly, the matter was informed to their parents/relative. After some time their parents came to RPF Post/Asansol(W) and handed over to him under proper acknowledgement.

12.02.21 Rescue of one minor girl. On 12.02.2021 at about 05:36 hrs. Train No. 03020 Dn (Bagh Festival Spl.) arrived at Chittaranjan PF No. 01 and left 05:38 hrs., after passing of the train on duty officers and staff of RPF out Post/Chittaranjan noticed that one girl moving alone at Chittaranjan Rly station. On being asked she disclosed her identity as Puja Kumari aged about 15 yrs. D/o Kapurchand Prasad a resident of Vill- Chari Sikndarpur, P.S- Talnara, Dist- Siwan(Bihar) and stated that she had fled away from her home due to family dispute. Accordingly, the matter was informed to her parents over mobile phone. The said rescued girl handed over to Child Line/Jamtara under proper acknowledgement.

12.02.21 Recovery of one wallet. On 12.02.2021 during round, on duty officer of RPF Post/Sitarampur found one wallet black colour lying at Sitarampur Rly station on PF No. 02 area, the said wallet containing more that 15 nos. of different smart Cards i.e ID card, Driving License, Voter Card, PAN Card, Aadhar Card, Debit Cards & Credit Cards of different banks, Metro Rail Smart Card and cash Rs. 500/-. Immediately ASI/S.Kumar contacted with the owner of wallet over phone as mentioned in his identity card. Subsequently the person disclosed his identity as Udit Agarwal aged about 22 yrs. s/o Ramesh Kumar Agarwal a resident of Near Lindsay Club &Ashirwaad nursing home, P.S- Dhanbad, Dist- Dhanbad(JH). Also, he disclosed that he was travelling from DHN – STN in Train No. 63504 (HTE – BWN Passenger) and lost his wallet at Sitarampur Rly station. At about 17:40 hrs. the actual owner of said wallet came to RPF Post/Sitarampur and requested for returning of wallet and the same wallet was handed over to actual owner with proper identification & verification.

13.02.21 Recovery of one left behind purse On 13.02.2021 at about 17:00 hrs. information was received from SCNL/Asansol regarding left behind one purse in train No. 02023 Up (HWH – PNBE Spl.), coach No. D-8, seat No. 20/21 and passenger deboarded at Asansol. Accordingly, the matter was informed to RPF Train escort party of Asansol. On duty train escort party attended the said coach and recovered the said purse containing Aadhar Card, ATM Card, Mobile Sim and cash Rs. 350/-. The said bag was handed over to RPF Out Post/Chittaranjan. Subsequently the said recovered purse handed over to actual owner namely Atish Kumar s/o Naju Mandal a resident of East Kunda, P.S- East Kundu, Dist- Paschim Burdwan(WB) after proper identification and documentation. Value of recovered Purse Rs. 1,000/-.

13.02.21 Recovery of one left behind trolley bag. On 13.02.2021 information was received from SCNL/Asansol regarding left behind one Yellowish Brown coloured trolley bag by one passenger in coach No. D-07 of train No. 02340 (DHN – HWH Exp. Spl.), who detrained at Asansol Rly station. When the said train arrived at Durgapur Rly station at about 08:03 hrs. on duty staff of RPF Post/Durgapur attended the said coach and recovered the said bag containing personnel belongings. According the matter was informed to actual owner. Later, one person namely Nitish Kumar s/o Sukhdev Prasad Yadav a resident of Ward No. 05, MaharishMenhi Nagar, Madhepura, Bihar- 852113 (friend of the owner of bag) attended at RPF Post/Durgapur and disclosed that Vikas Kumar is actual owner of the said bag but due to urgent personal work he unable to attend RPF Post/Durgapur. Further, owner of the said bag namely Vikash Kumar was contacted and on being asked he requested to handing over his bag to his friend Nitis Kumar and the said bag was handed over to him after proper verification. Value of the said bag Rs. 5,000/-.

14.02.21 Recovery of one left behind pitthu bag On 14.02.2021 RPF Post/ASN(W) received information from SCNL/ASN that SCNL/ASN has received information through 182 at about 23:20 hrs. regarding left behind of one pitthu bag containing some stationery and old wearing clothes in D-2 coach of train 02351 (Rajendra Nagar Terminal Puja Spl.). Immediately matter was informed to Train Escorting party in-charge of said train (HWH Div.) and they recovered the said bag & handed over to RPF Post/ASN(W). Accordingly, one person namely AnimeshMahata, a resident of Kumar Bazar, Raniganj Paschim Bardhwan, PNR 6246763204(HWH-RNG) came to the Post and submitted an application for claiming the said bag. After proper verification the said bag was handed over to the passenger with all correct. Value of the recovered articles is approx. Rs. 2000/-.

15.02.21 Recovery of one mobile phone On 15.02.2021 during conducted round one mobile phone (Infinix S5 Pro) was recovered by on duty officer of RPF Post/ASN(W) at Asansol PF/No. 03/04 near water purify Machin towards HWH end. Accordingly, the said mobile has brought to RPF Post/ASN(West) and contact with mobile owner. On 16.02.2021 the said mobile owner namely Jagmohan Paswan, aged 26 yrs. S/O - Jagdeb Paswan a resident of Bill - Gopalpur, Dist- Begusarai (Bihar) 848202 came to the post with written application for claiming the said mobile. After proper verification the said mobile was handed over to him in presence of available officers and staff. Valued of recovered mobile is Rs. 11,000/-.

15.02.21 Rescue of one Minor Boy On 15.02.2021 at about 21.00 hrs. Train No 03106 Dn passed at Chittaranjan PF 02 when on duty officer and staff of RPF Post/Jamtara camped at Chitaranjan Rly station noticed that one minor boy namely AyushSriwastav age about 17 year S/O Manoj Srivastav a resident of Vill - Nirupur , P.S- Haldi, Dist- Balia ( UP ) Roaming alone in suspicious manner. On seeing this, they detained the said Boy and on enquiry it was revealed that he ran away from his home due to dispute of any family matter from Balia by train No. 03106 Dn (Balia - Sealda exp,). Accordingly, the matter was informed to his parents on mobile phone, On getting information on 16.02.2021 his uncle (mama) namely Gautam Kumar S/O Ramanand prasad a resident of Vill -Bihrora P.O -Mahisona, P.S- Ramgrhachok, Dist- Lakhisarai came to RPF/OP/ CRJ on behalf of father of said rescued boy. Accordingly said rescued boy handed over to his Uncle (mama) after proper verification.

16.02.21 Recovery of one left behind Jacket On 16.02.2021, RPF Post/Jasidih received information from SCNL/ASN regarding, one person namely Abhishek Kumar, S/O Birendra Prasad Sing, having PNR No. 6647197648, Ex- RNC to JSME, Coach No B1 was travelling Ex- RNC to JSME by Train No. 08619 (Ranchi Katihar Spl.) of B-1, Berth no. 09. During de-boarding on 15.02.2021 at JSME, he left behind his Jacket, valued 900/-. Thereafter, he informed this matter to SCNL/ASN through 139. Immediately officer and staff of RPF Post/Jasidih attended the said train and could be able to recover the same and brought to RPF Post/Jasidih for safe custody. Also matter was informed to Abhishek Kumar over his mobile. Further, above named person was appeared at RPF Post/Jasidih on 16.02.2021and recovered jacket was handed over to him with proper acknowledgment.

16.02.21 Recovery of one left behind LED TV On 16.02.2021, RPF Post/Durgapur received a message from RPF Post/ASN(W) regarding left behind of one 24" LED TV of one passenger namely Sunita Shaw in D- 01coach, seat no. 47 of Train No- 02024 Dn (PNBE-HWH Janshatabdi Exp) who was detrained at Asansol. When the said train arrived at Durgapur Railway station at about 11:33 hrs, officer and staff of RPF Post/Durgapur attended the train and recovered the said left behind LED TV and intimated to the passenger as well as RPF Post/ASN(W) over their mobile. Later, one Sunil Shaw S/o Gullu Shaw a resident of BurnpurShyambandh, P.S: Hirapur, Dist: Paschim Burdwan, W.B (brother of actual owner) attended at RPF Post/Durgapur and disclosed that due to some health issue she is unable to attend RPF Post/Durgapur. Further, owner of said TV was contacted and on being asked she requested to handing over her TV to her brother Sunil Shaw. After proper verification, the recovered left behind TV has been handed over to Sunil Shaw. Value of the recovered TV is assessed as Rs. 10,000/-.

17.02.21 Injury of one male person. On 17.02.2021 at about 10:18 hrs. RPF Post/Durgapur information received from Local resident of Cinema Hall Road/Durgapur that one injured person is lying at Km Pole No. 170/09. Officers and staff of RPF Post/Durgapur along with GRP/Durgapur immediately attended the aforesaid P.O and found that one unknown male person aged about 53 yrs. is lying in injured condition in between DCOP – Durgapur Rly station, his left foot got cut and injury markka found on his face and head. As such the injured person immediately taken to S.D.Hospita/Bidhan Nagar/Durgapur by local arrangement with the assistance of RPF and GRP/Durgapur. On the spot no journey authority was found from his possession. The injured person identified as Jugal Saren aged about 53 yrs. s/o KishanSaren a resident of MMC, V.K.Nagar T/Z/6/1 Durgapur-10, P.S- NTPS, Dist- Paschim Burdwan (WB). The matter was informed to his relative over mobile phone, who attended at S.D. Hospital/Durgapur.

17.02.21 Recovery of one left behind bag. On 17.02.2021 at about 11:10 hrs. information was received from SCNL/Asansol regarding one left behind bag pack containing Nokia Mobile with Charger, Face Wash, Body Lotion, Bed Sheet, Aadhar Card etc, valued Rs. 3,350/-(Approx.), one passenger Bineet Pathak having PNR No. 6147115599, Ex- HWH - DGR in coach No. D-1, seat No. 82 of train No. 03001 (Hool Exp. Spl.), who was detrained at Durgapur Rly station. Accordingly, the matter was informed to RPF Post/Siuri. When the said train arrived at Siuri Rly station, on duty officers and staff of RPF Post/Siuri attended the said coach and recovered the said bag. Later the actual owner namely Bineet Pathak a resident of Fuljhor, Durgapur, Dist- Burdwan (WB) came to RPF Post/Siuri and the said bag was handed over to him after proper verification.

17.02.21 Recovery of one left behind bag. On 17.02.2021 on duty train escort party of train No. 03106 Dn (BUI-SDAH) received a call from RPF Post/Madhupur regarding left behind one pitthu bag of one bonafide passenger namely Prakash Chandra Yadav having PNR No.2316389169, (D-3 Seat No. 15), Ex- Kiul to Madhupur, he got down at Madhupur Rly Station and mistakenly left behind his bag on the seat. Train escort party Checked the said coach and recovered the said bag (Containing Documents, Admit card, Handicap certificate, Voter ID, 01 ordinary watch and GamchaMuflar) and deposited at PS- Cell/Aasnsol office and informed to him over mobile phone. On 18.02.2021 the said passenger namely Prakash Chandra Yadav (M/No.7050307176) came to PS- Cell/Asansol, with a written application to collect the said bag. After proper verification and documentation, the said recovered bag handed over to him. Valued of the recovered item Rs. 500/-(approx.) as per passenger.

18.02.21 Rescue of two minor child. On 18.2.2021 at about 11:15 hrs while Train No. 63567 UP (Asansol – Jhajha MEMU) arrived at Madhupur PF No 2, one passenger namely Dablu Kumar Yadav S/O Lt Lochan Yadav a resident of Vill- Batajor, P.S- Jhajha, Dist- Jamui (Bihar) with his wife and two children age about 5 & 6 years have boarded into the train. But,unfortunately his both children got down from the train and in the meantime the train had departed from Madhupur. On duty staff of RPF Post/Madhupur has noticed the both children roaming in the PF area and he rescued both the children, brought them to RPF Post/Madhupur. After a while father of the children namely Dablu Yadav could able to know that his children are kept at RPF Post/Madhupur, hence he contacted this over phone and requested to keep his children till he come. Biscuits, chocolates were provided to the rescued children and due care has also been taken. Later Sri Dablu Yadav appeared at RPF Post/Madhupur, the rescued children were handed over to him after proper verification and documentation.

19.02.21 Recovery one left behind bag. On 19.02.2021 one lady came to RPF Post/Siuri and reported regarding left behind of her bag containing one pair gold ring, essential items, total valued Rs. 8,000/- (Approx.) from train No. 63531 Up (Andal – Sainthia MEMU). On duty officers and staff of RPF Post/Siuri attended the said train & search and recovered the said bag at Siuri Rly station. The recovered bag was hand over to the said lady namely Sunita Ruidas aged about 30 yrs. a resident of Natudanga, P.S- Madhaipur, Dist- West Burdwan (WB) after proper verification.

20.02.21 Rescue of one minor girl. On 20.02.2021 at about 16:12 hrs one minor girl namely Jimoli Marandi aged about 04 years D/O Ramesh Marandi a resident of Vill- Fatehpur, P.S- Narayanpur, Dist- Jamtara mistakenly boarded in staff shuttle at Chittaranjan Rly station alone but her mother and family member could not board and the train left. Accordingly, the matter informed to RPF Post/Jamtara, when the said train arrived at Jamtara Rly station, on duty RPF staff of Jamtara attended the said train and rescued the said girl and detrained at Jamtara Rly station from the said train. The said rescued girl handed over to her mother namely Smt. Sita Murmu w/o Sri Ramesh Marandi in ok condition after proper verification and documentation.

21.02.21 Recovery of one left behind Laptop. On 21.02.2021 information was received from SCNL/Asansol regarding left behind one Laptop (Dell Company) on berth No. 94, in coach No. D-7 of train No. 03387 (Black Dimond SF Spl.) and passenger deboarded at Raniganj Rly station. Accordingly, the matter was informed to RPF Post/Asansol(W), when the said train arrived at Asansol Rly station, on duty officers and staff of RPF Post/Asansol(W) attended the said coach & recovered the Laptop (Dell Company) and brought to RPF Post/Asansol(W). At about 11:00 hrs, the passenger namely SnehasishMahato s/o VivekkanandMahato a resident of Achhra, Dabar, Dist- West Burdwan (WB) came to RPF Post/Asansol(W) with a written application to collect the Laptop. After proper verification and documentation, the said recovered laptop handed over to him. Value of the recovered item Rs. 65,000/-(approx.).

21.02.21 Rescue of one old aged lady. On 21.02.2021 at about 02:25 hrs, on duty officers of RPF Post/Asansol(W) noticed one old lady aged about 65 yrs was moving aimlessly on PF No. 02 of Asansol Rly station. On being asked her, she told that she was travelling with son in train No. 08182 Dn (Tatanagar Festival Spl.) PNR no 2645070958 in coach No. S-8, seat No 67, 60 and have to go Tata but she mistakenly got down at Asansol Rly station. She told her name Merna Devi aged about 65 yrs. W/o Whandrika Singh & son who was travelling with her name is Pramod Kumar Singh, Mobile No. 9931317258. The said rescue lady was brought to RPF Post/Asansol(W) and informed to his son. At about 08:30 hrs. her son attended at RPF Post/Asansol(W) and handed over her after proper verification.

22.02.21 Injury of one lady. On 22.02.2021 A lady passenger namely Ranjana Kumari, Female (25 years), W/O- Gopal Sahani, R/O- Shivaji Nagar, Lalbagh, Post- Lalbagh, PS- Townthana, Distt- Darbhanga, having valid ticket vide PNR No. 6147609779 of train No. 05027 (Anand Vihar Terminal Exam Sp.) Up Ex, JSME – SPJ but mistakenly she boarded in train No. 03185 Up (Ganga Sagra Festival Spl.) with her family. When they realized that they boarded in wrong train then they started to de-board from the train but said lady named Ranjana Kumari did not de-board on time. After the train had started she jumped from the running train at PF No. 02 nearby middle FOB of Jasidih Railway Station and she sustained injury. On duty officers and lady staff of RPF Post/Jasidih together with GRPS/Jasidih reached at place of occurrence. Immediately the said injured female was sent to Sadar Hospital/Deoghar with her family. On duty RPF staff/Jasidih and GRPS/Jasidih were also accompanied the lady.

23.02.21 Rescue of one minor girl. On 23.02.2021 at about 21:15 hrs. when on duty officers and Staff of RPF Post/Dumka was on scheduled round at Dumka platform area, they found one minor child was sitting on PF No. 01 of Dumka Rly station. On being asked she disclosed her name and address as Priya Kumari (F-16 yrs.) S/O- KamuRawani of Vill- Phulchi, P.O- Madhupur, P.S- Margomunda, Dist:-Deoghar Jharkhand and stated that she came by Train No- 03444 (BGP-DUMKA) without Parents/Guardian. Which arrived at PF No- 01 of Dumka Rly station at about 20:56 hrs. She also says that she fled away from her sister’s home due to personal issues. The said rescue girl was brought at RPF Post/Dumka. After proper verification and documentation the above name child handed over to Child line Dumka staff namely Smt. ShantilataHembrom (Team Member), Mobile No:- 6206514445 and Sri SanatanMurmu (Child line Volunteer), Mobile No:- 9102014223 for further course of action.

24.02.21 Rescue of one minor girl. On 24.02.2021 during round by officers and staff of RPF Post/Asansol(W), noticed that one girl was moving aimlessly at PF No. 6 of Asansol Railway station. Immediately the girl was detained and brought to RPF Post/Asansol(W). On interrogation she disclosed her identity as Khushi Kumari, Female - 14yrs. D/O- Lt Anil Kumar Gupta a resident of Vill- Bharat, P.O- Bhimpur, P.S- Barharia, Dist- Siwan (Bihar) and stated that she fled away from her home after being scolded by her uncle and aunty. After observing all legal formalities, the girl was handed over to The Railway Childline/Asansol member namely Abhinanda Banerjee mob 9832837121 for further disposal under proper acknowledgement.

24.02.21 Recovery of one left behind bag. On 24.02.21 on duty train escort party of train No.02024 Dn (Jansadabdi Exp. Spl.) from Jhajha to Asansol noticed that while said train left at Madhupur, one passenger namely Goutam Bose came towards him and stated that his green colour bag was missing and in mid time he was also informed by RPF Post/Madhupur that one passenger came to RPF Post/Madhupur with one green colour bag and stated that by mistake he had taken green coloured bag instead of his red colour bag. Further told the fact to the passenger and came to RPF Post/Asansol(W). Later on duty officer of RPF Post/Asansol(W) co-ordinated with RPF Post/Madhupur and passenger of Madhupur and instructed to come at Asansol with the bag. Later on said passenger namely Shiv Kumar Singh came and shown the bag and told to both the passenger to check their articles kept inside the bag. After checking the bag both were satisfied and found their bag as all correct. There after both were submitted application regarding returning of their bag and after proper verification both bag were handed over to both of them. Valued Rs. 7,000/-(Approx.).

24.02.21 Rescue of one unsound mind boy. On 24.02.21 a boy having unsound mind namely Uma Shankar Singh M - 21yrs. S/O - Surendra Kr. Singh a resident of Vill- Dalakala, P.S - Pandu, Dist- Palamu (JH) was rescued by on duty officers and staff of RPF Post/Asansol(W) at PF No. 05 of Asansol Rly station and detained at RPF Post/Asansol(W). On being asked said boy showed his mobile. Anyhow his brother could be contacted through mobie no.7903661120 and informed about rescue of the boy. At about 12:35 hrs his brother namely Ravi Shankar Singh came to RPF Post/Asansol(W) and submitted an application regarding returning to his brother. After proper verification from all the corner said boy handed over to him.

24.02.2 Recovery of one left behind bag. On 24.02.2021 RPF Post/Asansol(W) received information from RPF Post/Durgapur regarding one black colour backpack left behind in local train No. 63521 Up. When the said train arrived at Asansol Rly station, on duty officers and staff of RPF Post/Asansol(W) attended the said train and recovered the said bag. The said bag was brought to RPF Post/Asansol(W) in safe custody. Accordingly, the matter was informed to RPF Post/Durgapur. Later the actual owner namely Bistu Das aged about 60 yrs. a resident of Tetul Tola Colony Durgapur, Dist- Paschim Bardhaman (WB), Mob No. 9124499839 came to RPF Post/Asansol(W) and the said bag was handed over to him after proper verification. Valued of recovered bag is Rs. 1,000/-.

26.02.21 Arrest of one TOPB criminal. On 26.02.2021 on duty staff of RPF Post/Madhupur detailed to watch TOPB activity in Train No. 02024 Ex JSME to MDP. when he kept special watch on a suspected lady. The said lady deboarded at Madhupur when the train arrived on PF no. 3 of Madhupur station and on suspicion the staff detrained the said lady. On duty lady staff of RPF Post/Jasidih came and on search one JIO mobile phone was recovered from the possession of the lady. On being interrogation, the lady accepted that she had stolen the mobile phone from a passenger in the train and also disclosed her identity as Kismi Devi, Female 23 years, w/o Chandu Pasi a resident of Hill Road, Gate No. 2, Mihijam, Dist- Jamtara (Jharkhand). Hence, the said recovered mobile was seized, value RS. 1,500/- in presence of available witnesses and then arrested the lady accused. In this regard C/Nil Digamber Kumar has given a written complaint to the officer-in-charge of GRPS/Madhupur and basing of the complaint a case no. 03/21 dtd 26.02.21 u/s 414 IPC has been registered at GRPS/Madhupur against the lady accused.

26.02.21 Rescue of one minor girl. On 26.02.2021, on duty staff of RPF Post/Durgapur, noticed one minor girl who was moving aimlessly at Durgapur station. (Kalka End of PF No. 05, Durgapur). On being suspicious, he asked about the reason for moving at PF but the above minor girl was unable to disclose any information. After deeply interrogate, the rescued girl stated her name and address- Kajal Kumari aged about 12 yrs.D/O Pradeep Chaudhary a resident of Vill- ChoukKurshaila, PS- Unknown, Distt- Purnia (Bihar) and also stated that she left her home some days ago for family reasons. The matter was informed to Railway Childline/ Asansol. Later the above minor girl handed over to representatives of Railway Child line for further course of action.

26.02.21 Arrest of 06 nos. notorious Criminals. On 26.02.2021 a raid has been conducted by the joint team of RPF/STF/Asansol and Asansol (North)/PS at the field in front of Loco Maszid, near Loco Quarter, Railpar, PS-Asansol North, Dist-Paschim Bardhaman and arrested 06 notorious criminals with (1) loaded country made Arms of .314 bore with extra Live round (2) One 2ft long sword (3) One 14" dragger (4) One 12 inch knife, (5) One 10 inch bhojali, (6) One 12 inch iron rod. During interrogation all arrested person were disclosed their identity as (1) Md. Jamir @ Moina (30 Yrs), S/o- Lt. Md. Akbar of Railpar, Babutalao near Nala, (2) Tinku Kumar of Chandmari, (3). Md Raju of Gulzar Mohalla (4). Md. Irshad of Quereshi Mohalla, (5). Md. Shamsher of Sakurpur New Delhi (6) Harun Rashid of RailparKhanpatty whereas 6 another have successfully fleed away due to darkness but well identified by Police raiding team. All of under PS- Asansol North, Dist.- Paschim Bardhaman Also disclosed that they have assembled for committing dacoity in Railway quarter area as per their convenient. During interrogation all of arrested offenders disclosed that, they are regularly committed crime in railway colony and in some night bound train stopped on outer signal by snatching the mobile on the point of Arms or knief. They also disclosed that they were also involved in several crime cases under GRPS Asansol and North PS. They have earned by this way to meet huge expenses on purchasing of Narcho substances like brown sugar, smack, Ganja etc. Tonight, they have planned for committing dacoity as mentioned above. In this connection, case No- 62/21, dated- 26.02.2021, U/S- 399,402 IPC, and 25/27 Arms Act has been registered at Asansol North PS against arrested persons.

27.02.21 Recovery of one left behind bag. On 27.02.2021 during round by officers and staff of RPF Post/Jasidih and found one bag was kept on the bench of Jasidih PF No. 02. On asking the passenger present there none came forward to claim it. Hence the same was seized under proper seizure list in presence of available witnesses. Accordingly, the said bag containing OPPO Old mobile & old use garments and one gold Ring kept in jewellery box was brought to RPF Post/Asansol(W) for further action. Thereafter a phone call was received on recovered mobile and intimated the caller about recovery of left behind bag. Later actual owner namely Rakesh Ojha aged about 36 yrs. s/o Umesh Ojha a resident of Vill+Post- Dhangarhan Saran, Bihar- 841403 having ticket No. 9747768631, Ex- JSME – PNBE came to RPF Post/Asansol(W) and stated that his bag was left behind mistakenly at Platform. The said recovered material was handed over to him after proper verification. Value of recovered property Rs. 50,000/- (approx.).

28.02.21 Rescue of one minor girl. On 28.02.2021 during round by officers and staff of RPF Post/Asansol(W), noticed that one minor girl was roaming aimlessly at PF No. 2 of Asansol Railway station. Immediately the girl was detained and brought to RPF Post/Asansol(W). On interrogation she disclosed her identity as Payel Jha aged about 16 yrs. D/O Arun Jha a resident of Vill- Kunthal, Poddardih, Dhanbad, Jharkhand- 828205 and stated that she fled away from her home because her mother scolded her and she wanted to go to Mumbai. Accordingly, the matter was informed to her mother over phone. Subsequently her mother namely Smt. Rakhi Jha came to RPF Post/Asansol(W) and the said girl was handed over to her mother under proper acknowledgement.

28.02.21 Arrest of two TOPB criminals. On 28.02.2021 at 10:58 hrs train No. 08184 Dn arrived at Jasidih Railway station on PF No. 01. On duty officers and staff of RPF Post/Jasidih suddenly noticed a sound like chor-chore. Accordingly, they came on prompt action to listen the sound and started running behind 02 persons who were trying to flee away after pick pocketing. But somehow the officers and staff of JSME with the assistance of GRP, succeeded to detain both the culprits. In the meantime officers of RPF Post/Jasidih reached there and on interrogation of the detained persons could not get any satisfactory reply. Hence, both the detailed persons were brought to GRPS/Jasidih. During personal search of both the persons, found 1) One mobile phone (OPPO53A) bearing SIM No. 6206009817 (JIO), IMEI No. 868495053922897/57 & 868495053922889/57, valued Rs. 14,000/- from the possession of Dharmaveer Mali, Male, Age- 23 yrs, S/O- Suraj Mali of vill- Patkeri, PS- Balrampur, Dist- Purulia (West Bengal) & (2) One pink coloured lady purse containing cash Rs. 200/-, 02 nos. original Aadhar Card, 02 nos. Pen from the possession of Pawan Singh, Male, Age - 20 yrs, S/O- Shankar Singh of vill- Patkeri, PS- Balrampur, Dist- Purulia (West Bengal) from the possession of them which were stolen from the bonafide passengers namely Ranjan Kumar, Male, age- 29 yrs, S/O- Prasadi Yadav of vill- Chakhaur, PS- Sikandara, Dist- Jamui, Bihar and Mukul Soni, Male, Age- 22 yrs, S/O- Satish Soni of 3/549, Awas Vikash, PS- Nawbakta, Dist- Kanpur, (UP) respectively. Both victimized passengers attended GRPS/Jasidih and identified their stolen items. They also stated that they were victimized during boarding in the said train in coach D-5. Hence, both detained persons were arrested jointly with GRPS/Jasidih. In this connection, a case No. 09/2021 dtd. 28.02.2021 U/S- 379/411/34 IPC has been registered at GRPS/Jasidih against the arrested persons.

28.02.21 Injury of one lady passenger. On 28.02.2021, a female passenger namely Vina Bharti, Female (18 years), D/O Vivekanand Yadav, R/O- Vill- Bhadariya, Post- Suiya, P.S- Katoriya, Banka, Bihar, who was travelling by Train No.73581 Ex-DGHR to KTOR having ticket vide No. 35226876, Ex DGHR to KTOR on 01.03.2021. The said train arrived at Katoria station at 11:48 hrs and left at 11:49 hrs but the said lady could not get down from the train. After starting of train No. 73581 she was trying to get down in running condition, as a result she had fallen down and sustained injury in her head. Immediately officers and staff of out Post/Katoria attended and informed the matter to SM/Katoria. As per memo issued by SM/Katoria, the injured female was brought to RefralHospital/Katoria for first-aid. Where the doctor referred the said female to Sadar Hospital/Deoghar for better treatment. Further her uncle namely Mateswar Yadav appeared at Sadar Hospital/Deoghar and the female was handed over to her uncle and now she is out of danger.

28.02.21 Rescue of one female. On 28.02.2021, officer and staff of RPF Post/HWN, HWH arrived at RPF Post/Jasidih with one female namely SusmitaBasak, Female-23 Yrs, D/O- ChandicharanBasak, R/O-3/1 Goalpara, Lane (R. M. Sen Road), Berhampore, PS- Berhampore, Distt-Murshidabad, West Bengal, 742101 and submitted a written application wherein it was mentioned that while they were performing train escorting duty in train No.02305 UP Ex-Howrah to Jasidih, in course of escorting, on duty train Caption namely Sri Sanjay Kumar Rai handed over one female passenger to train escorting party who was travelling in said train in coach No.A-6 berth No. 43. During checking she did not produce any legal authority, valid ticket and her identity. On being interrogated, by on duty officer of RPF Post/Jasidih, she revealed that she wanted to go to Delhi by train but failed to show any travelling authority. During counseling she disclosed her identity as SusmitaBasak, Female- 23 Yrs, D/O-ChandicharanBasak, a resident of 3/1 GoalparaLane(R. M. Sen Road), Berhampore, PS- Berhampore, Distt-Murshidabad, West Bengal, 742101. The matter was intimated to her father namely ChandicharanBasak, over mobile phone for further course of action. On 01.03.2021 as per information, Sri ChandicharanBasak along with other relatives appeared at RPF Post/Jasidih and stated that the abovenamed female was Neuropsychiatric patient and she left her house without intimation to anyone. Hence, the above girl was handed over to ChandicharanBasak, (father of above female) under proper documentation and acknowledgement in presence of available witness.

01.03.21 Good Work done by RPF. On 01.03.2021 train No. 02340 Dn (Coalfield Spl.) arrived at Durgapur PF No. 04. While the train was leaving station, one woman was trying to board but lost her balance and suddenly fallen down in the gap between the train and platform. On duty officer of RPF Post/Durgapur responded without caring of his own life & dragged out the said lady passenger and saved her life. The name of the lady passenger was SuptaMaity aged 57 yrs. PNR No. 6747781698, Ex- DGR – HWH in coach No. D-6.

01.03.21 Rescue of two minor Children. On 01.03.2021 at about 20:15 hrs. on duty officer and Staff of RPF Post/Dumka while was making round on platform area, they found that 02 minor children were sitting on PF No. 01 of Dumka station in a suspicious manner. During interrogation they disclosed their Name and addresses as (1.) Jitendra Kumar Pandit (M-17yrs.) S/O Sri Vinod Pandit of Vill:-Bandarmara, P/O:- Bishanpur, P/S:- Sono, Dist:- Jamuai Pin No:- 811314 Bihar and (2) Murti Kumari (F-17 yrs.) D/O:- Sohan Pandit of Vill:- Sundartand, P.O- Kiyajori, P.S- Chakai, Dist:- Jamuai Pin No:- 811303 Bihar and stated that they had come by Train No- 53552 (JSME-DUMKA) without permission of their Parents/Guardian which arrived at PF No. 01 at about 09:10 hrs. They also stated that they fled away from their own home due to personal issues. The said rescued children were brought to RPF Post/Dumka. After proper verification and documentation the above name children were handed over to Child line/Dumka staff namely Sri Madhusudan Singh (District Coordinator), Mobile No:- 6201316563, Smt. ShantilataHembrom (Team Member), Mobile No:- 6206514445 and Sri SanatanMurmu (Child line Volunteer), Mobile No:- 9102014223 in good condition for further course of action.

01.03.21 Rescue of one mentally disturbed man. On 01.03.2021 at about 16:50 hrs on receipt of information by RPF Post/Madhupur from SCNL/Asansol regarding detention of one passenger namely R. R. Choudhary of Konnagur Howrah, who fled away from his home and was travelling by Train No. 02369 Up (Kumbh SF Spl.) in Coach No. S-6, berth No. 63 PNR No. 6547793788 (HWH-HW Exp), due to mental upset and in depression. When the said train arrived at Madhupur PF No 2 at about 16.53 hrs. on duty officers and staff of Madhupur immediately attended the said train and rescued the person after proper verification with his photo (as provided by SCNL/ASN). The said person was brought at RPF Post/Madhupur. Matter informed to SCNL/Asansol as well as his family/wife namely Jhumpa Rai Choudhary over mobile phone No. 8583818226. Later his family came to RPF Post/Madhupur and the said person handed over to his family after proper verification.

02.03.21 Injury of one male passenger On 02.03.2021 at about 03.34 hrs. Train No. 08619 Up (Ranchi – Katihar Spl.) arrived at PF No. 01 of Jamtara station and during departure of the said train one female passenger had informed to on duty RPF staff of Jamtara that her husband was got injured due to fallen down from the said train at offside at PF No.01 of Jamtara station. Immediately, on duty RPF staff of Jamtara attended the P.O and found one male person got injury. On enquiry it was known that the said person identified as Sri Subhash Prasad Mondal (M-61years) s/o Late Nakul Mondal residence a resident of Vill-Darjhanda, P.S-Sarkhanda, PS+Distt-Godda, JH. Immediately he was shifted at Sadar Hospital/Jmatara, on bed No.10 in Room No.50 with the help of on duty RPF staff of Jamtara. Matter was also informed to his son namely Amit Kumar Mondal over his mobile No. 9162355801. The injured person was travelling in the said train Ex-Ranchi to JSME vide PNR No. 6547879477 in coach No. S-05 on seat No. 57 & 60. Finally the Train left Jamtara at about 03.36 hrs. There was no report of detention of said train at Jamtara.

02.03.21 Rescue of one minor boy. On 02.03.2021 at about 08:10 hrs, RPF Post/Jamtara received an information from one passenger that his alone child mistakenly boarded in a staff shuttle Spl. train at Jamtara station, which arrived at Jamtara at 08:09 hrs and left at 08:10 hrs. Accordingly the matter was informed to on duty RPF staff at Vidyasagar station. When the said train arrived at Vidyasagar station, on duty staff of Jamtara, camped at Vidyasagar attended the train and rescued one minor child Umesh Kumar aged about (M-12 years) s/o Sri Hemlal Ram a resident of Pahadpur, Post+PO-Madhupur, Distt-Deoghar (JH). The rescued child was brought to RPF Post/Jamtara and handed over to his parents in well condition at about 09.45 hrs. after proper documentation.

03.03.21 Arrest of 04 nos. notorious Criminals. On 03.03.2021 a raid was conducted by the joint team of RPF/STF/Asansol and GRPS/Asansol at Asansol PF No. 7 Kalka End near open toilet area and arrested 04 notorious criminals with (1) One of 8 mm live round loaded country made Arms (2) One 12 inch iron knife (3) One 18 inch Cycle chain (4) One 9 inch knife. Intelligence output shared by Inspector, Dipankar Dey, of STF team, Asansol and leaving for ambush watch in dark place of station No.7 near Faiz-e-aam Ground vide R.Coy. GD No. 40 dated 03.03.21, when team members detected assembling of about 8/9 person in dark and abandoned area near Kalka end Asansol station PF-7, even some of them have been identified by reliable source as habitual railway criminals of mobile and luggage lifting. During interrogation all arrested persons disclosed their identity as (1) Md Siwan (M-22) S/O Md Samim of Makumahalla (2) Md AkibAnsary (19) S/O Md Abid Ansary a resident of Kasai Mahalla (3) Pramod Yadav @ Bengu (M- 25) S/O Prakash Yadav a resident of MangruDist- Jamui (4) Sanjay Munda @ Hardi Singh (M-20) S/O Kamal Munda a resident of Kharibari Darjeeling, whereas 4/5 other unknown have successfully fled away taking advantage of darkness but well identified by Police raiding team. During interrogation all arrested offenders disclosed that, they are regularly committing crime in railway in night bound trains by snatching mobile on the point of Arms or knife when stopped at outer signal as well as at colony area. They also disclosed that they were also involved in several crime cases under GRPS Asansol and North PS. All these recovered articles were seized under seizure list on the spot and arrested 04 person were brought to Asansol GRPS for further lawful action. In this connection, case No. 11/21, dated- 03.03.2021 U/S- 399, 402 IPC and 25(1)(a) Arms Act has been registered at GRPS/Asansol against the arrested persons.

03/04.0 Arrest of 01 No. notorious Criminals. 3.21 On 03/04.03.2021 at about 03.45 a raid was conducted by the officers and staff of RPF/STF/Asansol and GRPS/Asansol near PF No- 07 of Asansol Railway station and arrested 01 notorious criminals with one golden colour android mobile of Samsung Galaxy and one ladies purse with some documents. During interrogation the arrested person was disclosed his identity as (1) Md. Asraf @ Raja (22 yrs) S/O- Lt. Mukter of Lal Chawk Kasai Mohalla near Masjid, PS- Asansol North, Dist- Paschim Bardhaman. He disclosed that he is a habituate offender of TOPB, boarded train No. 08184 Dn (DNR-TATA Exp) from Asansol Rly station on 02.02.21 and conducted snatching when train has just left platform and used to run away by jumping down from the train with booty. The arrested person also disclosed that he had stolen the mentioned recovered articles previously from the running train. today he arrived at Asansol Rly station for selling purpose of stolen article and disclosed that he regularly committed crime with passengers in running trains and down train stopped at outer signal and he was also involved in several crime cases under GRPS/Asansol and North PS/Asansol. As such the arrested person was forwarded to Ld. Court on 04.03.2021 in connection of GRPS/Asansol case No. 09/2021 dt- 12.02.2021 U/S- 379 IPC.

04.03.21 Recovery of one left behind bag. On 04.03.2021 at about 11:50 hrs. information was received from SCNL/ASN regarding left behind one bag in train No. 08184 Dn (DNR-TATA Exp) in coach no C 1, seat no 53 and passenger detain at Madhupur Rly station. When the said train arrived at Chittaranjan Rly station, on duty officers and staff of RPF Out Post/Chittaranjan attended the said train and recovered said black colourpithu bag containing, Aadhar card, voter card, ID card, gold ornament, weight about 10 gram, silver coins14 pieces weight about 140 gram, silver Katori 02 nos, glass 01, spoon 01nos, nag 02, nos. The said recovered bag with all articles were handed over to passenger namely Suman Kumar Tiwary S/O Vijay Kumar Tiwary a resident of Village Sathiyar, P.S- Chitra UparBhiyar, DistDeoghar who was traveling in said train from Rajendra nagar to Madhupur vide PNR No. 6747988526 after proper identification and documentation in all ok. Total recovered bag value Rs 1,00,000/-

05.03.21 Recovery of one left behind bag. On 05.03.2021, Information was received from SCNL/Asansol regarding one left behind bag in train No. 02334 Dn (VibhutiSfFSpl.). when the said train arrived at Asansol Rly station, on duty officers and staff of RPF Post/Asansol(W) attended the said train and recovered the said bag. Later the actual owner of the said bag namely Usha Kiran Tudu D/o PohirTudu a resident of St. No.64 Qrt No. 1/12B, P.O- Chittaranjan, Dist- Paschim Burdwan(WB) mob. No. 8957052863 came to RPF Post/Asansol(W) and the said bag containing old clothes was handed over to her after proper verification. Value of recovered bag Rs.5,000/- approx.

05.03.21 Rescue of one minor girl. On 05.03.2021 at about 18:30 hrs during round by officer of RPF Post/Asansol(W) noticed that one minor girl aged about 17 yrs was moving aimlessly at Asansol PF No. 5 near child line office where the child line staff were already present. On being interrogated she disclosed her name and address as MeherParween age 17 yrs D/O Wakil Ansari R/O Domohani Bazaar PS Barabani District PashchimBurdhman(WB) and stated that she fled away from her home because she wanted to study but her parents were not agreed to continue her study. The said girl was handed over to child Line/Asansol for further disposal.

07.03.21 Rescue of two minor children. On 07.03.2021 at 23:56 hrs Train No. 03186 DN (Ganga Express) arrived at Jasidih PF No. 01, on duty Seal Checking staff of RPF Post/Jasidih, noticed two minor boys were travelling in coach No. DL-2 without any male person. During interrogation, they disclosed their Name and addresses as (i) Md. Munna Babu Age- 10 years, S/O- Md. Alam of Village Izara, Mdhubani, PS- Rehika, PO- Reyam, Distt- Madhubani, Bihar, (ii) Md. Rehan, Aged- 14 Years, S/O- Md. Alam of Village Izara, Mdhubani, PS- Rehika, PO- Reyam, Distt- Madhubani, Bihar and stated that both were escaped from their native place due to fear of education. Subsequently, above on duty staff informed to on duty officer of RPF Post/Jasidih who attended the PO and detained to both minor boys and brought to RPF Post/Jasidih. Accordingly, the matter was conveyed to Child Line/Deoghar. Later, both minor boys were handed over to Child line Deoghar under proper documentation and acknowledgment.

07.03.21 Recovery of one left behind Mobile. 0n 07.03.2021 at about 04:10 hrs RPF Post/Madhupur received information from RPF Post/Jasidih regarding left behind of a mobile (Motorola value Rs. 17,000/-) on S-1, Berth No.30 of Train No. 02894 Dn (Bilaspur Weekly SF Festival Spl.) as the Passenger got down at Jasidih Rly station. When the said train arrived at Madhupur Rly station, on duty officers and staff of RPF Post/Madhupur attended the said coach and recovered the said Mobile and matter informed to RPF Post/Jasidih. Later, one passenger namely Nitish Kumar Singh s/o Pankaj Kumar Singh came to RPF Post/Madhupur and the said bag handed over to him after proper verification.

07.03.21 Recovery of one fell down bag. On 07.03.21 at 10:37 hrs train No. 63567 Up (Asansol Jhajha MEMU) arrived at Jamtara PF No.01 and left 10.39.hr, in the mean time one bag fell down from said train in running at Jamtara PF No. 01. Seeing this, on duty officers and staff of RPF Post/Jamtara, recovered the said bag containing woolen garment i.e. shawl, sweater, new sari, and other new clothes. Accordingly, the massage relayed through PA system at Kasitarn and Vidyasagar Rly station, on such information, one passenger namely BhadurTudu, s/o PralodTudu, a resident of Vill- Koldih, P.S- Koron, Dist, Deoghar came to RPF Post/Jamtara at 17.30 hrs who was travelling in said train Ex. RNPR to MUW, vide ticket no 82048900, identified the said bag and handed over to him after proper verification and documentation with all articles in ok condition, Value Rs 5,000/- approx.

08.03.21 Recovery of one left behind mobile. On 08.03.2021 while on duty officers and staff of RPF Post/Dumka were checking the PRS booking counter at Dumka Railway station portico area, they found one vivo 1815 mobile phone was lying in portico area. During enquiry, nobody came forward for claiming the said mobile. Later, they requested the SM for announcement through PA system regarding mobile phone. After some time the owner of the mobile phone namely Kalu Seikh, contacted with RPF Post/Dumka mobile phone, appeared at RPF Post/Dumka. On being asked he stated that by mistakenly he left behind his mobile phone at portico area and disclosed his name & address as Kalu Seikh s/o JhathuSeikh a resident of Vill- Bamuha, P.O- Parulia, P.S- Suti, Dist- Musidabad (WB) having mobile No. 7209293906. After proper verification and acknowledgment, the said vivo1815 mobile phone was handed over to him in well condition. Valued Rs 13,500/-.

09.03.21 Arrest of one TOPB Criminal. On 09.03.2021 at 10:51 hrs Train No. 73539 (Andal – Jasidih DEMU) arrived at Jasidih Railway station PF No. 01 and at that time the on duty LSI of RPF Post/Jasidih was present there for raid and round in view of Assembly Election of West Bengal. In the mean time a passenger was souting like chor-chor. On duty officer of RPF Post/Jasidih immediately attended and noticed on male person was running on PF No. 01. She also ran behind him and detained near main gate of Jasidih Railway station. On being asked he disclosed his identity as Tanvir Ansari, Male, Age- 21 yrs, S/O- Late Guddu Ansari of Rangania Para, Asansol, P.S- Asansol (South) Dist- Paschim Burdwan (West Bengal). At the same time victimized passenger reached there and informed that the detained person had picked his pocket and stole one purse containing Aadhar Card, Cash Rs. 470/-, travelling train ticket, 04 Passport size photo. During search, the stolen purse was found from the possession of detained person. At the same time GRPS/Jasidih also attended the P.O. Further, the detained person was handed over to GRPS/Jasidih where the victim passenger submitted a written complain. On the basis of written complaint GRPS/Jasidih registered a case No. 12/2021 dtd. 09.03.2021 U/S- 379/411 IPC against the arrested person.

09.03.21 Recovery of liquorand arrested two female persons. On 09.03.2021, in view of Assembly election of West Bengal as per direction of competent authority a drive was conducted by officers and staff of RPF Post/Jasidih in PF area of Jasidih Railway station. During such raid it was noticed that 02 women having 03 nos. of sacks were moving in a suspicious manner. Accordingly, they were detained and during interrogation they disclosed their identity as (i) Sunita Devi, Female, Age- 45 yrs, W/O- EkbalMahto of Vill- Asrari, P.S- Barauni, Piprachauk, Dist- Begusarai, (Bihar) and (ii) Meera, female, Age- 50 yrs, W/O- Gultan Yadav of Vill- Ghatkindi, Durgasthan, P.S- Tetra, Dist- Begusarai, (Bihar). On searching those bags found all bags were containing country made liquor. On being asked they did not give any satisfactory reply and could not produce any legal authority regarding carrying of liquor through Railway transportation. Thereafter both the bags containing 120 nos. bottles of country liquor having brand “9”, 300 ml each, valued Rs. 40/- each kept in each bag were seized under proper seizure list by officer of RPF Post/Jasidih in presence of available witness but no any independent witness came forward for witnessing. Thereafter both female persons were arrested by intimating the ground of arrest. Subsequently, both arrested female persons along with seized liquor were brought to RPF Post/Jasidih for further legal action. Later, on 09.03.2021 both the arrested female persons along with seized articles were handed over to GRPS/Jasidih and submitted a written complaint by SI of RPF Post/Jasidih. Total value of seized article is Rs. 4,800/-.On the basis of written complaint GRPS/Jasidih registered a case No. 13/2021 dtd. 09.03.2021 U/S- 272/273/290/34 IPC arrested female persons.

09.03.21 Good work done by RPF staff. On 09.03.2021 on duty staff of RPF Post/Durgapur was present on Platform No 02 of Durgapur Railway Station for safe passing of train No. 02311 Up (Kalka Mail Spl.) which arrived on PF No. 02 at about 00:02 hrs and after its scheduled stoppage start to move for its next destination at about 00:04 hrs. In the mean time he noticed that some passengers were running with their respective luggage to climb in said moving train. On seeing this, he advised them not to board in running train but, despite his instruction they tried to board in running train resulting which one lady passenger together her 02 yrs. child fell down in the gap of train and Platform. The said staff promptly rescued the both human life regardless of his life.

09.03.21 Arrest of 04 nos. notorious Criminals. On 16.01.2021, one Swarup Chatterjee of Asansol RambandhuTalao submitted a complaint of murder of his old aged uncle brutally by unknown person. In this regard a UD case was registered at Asansol South P.S case No. 42/21, accordingly as per PM report a case has been registered No. 34/21 u/s 302, 201 IPC and investigation started. In the mean time another case of house theft of Rs. 3,00,000/- was reported by one Railway employee namely Birender Singh from his Railway Quarter near water resource of Traffic colony by a gang of intruder. Responding the matter of theft in Railway colony area, the RPF/STF/Asansol team started to keep surveillance in the vicinity and engaging the sources. On 07.03.2021, basis on source information accordingly sharing the same with IC/Asansol (South), the STF team co-ordinated with Asansol South P.S and could able to apprehend two suspected criminals namely (1) Abdul Rohit and (2) Md Suleman, who disclosed the fact of crime and confessed to be involved into the crime in both the house theft, accordingly, recontraction of theft MO was conducted at Railway quarter and Murder place. During interrogation they both disclosed the involvement of gang leader Fano, Sona Jaan and Washim. On 8.03.2021, they both remanded for 14 days, accordingly, on 09.03.2021, as per source information regarding escaping plan of three wanted criminals, an ambush watch was conducted on Asansol PF-2, Parcel end, near Oxygen Park along with I.O of the case. During such raid, another two wanted criminals were detained. As per identification by remanded accused, both detained person was taken into custody when they disclosed their identity as (3) Md Irfan@Fano(M-28) s/o Md Ibrar (4) Sona Jaan @Sona@Saddam Khan (29) s/o Lt. Yasin Khan all of Muslim Mohalla, Talpukuria Asansol. During prolong interrogation at South P.S, all of them were confessed to be involved into both the crimes. Such as they will be remanded for 14 days to ensure recovery of murder weapon and stolen properties. Further sources were engaged for arresting of remaining accused Washim.

09.03.21 Arrest of 01 nos. notorious Criminals. On 02.03.2021, one Kaushik Gupta of Raniganj lodged a complaint for stolen motor cycle No. WB44B 8549 Hero Honda Passion Pro, from his house. In this regard a case No. 99/21 u/s 379 IPC has been registered. The theft information was shared by IC/Raniganj PS, when local sources were engaged. On 09.03.2021, received intelligence regarding stolen of one passion Pro black color as well as conceal the same near Asansol Railway Station in any motor cycle stand. Accordingly, the intelligence output shared by STF/Asansol team with IC/Raniganj PS. So only a team of Police attended Asansol Reserve Coy. and submitted requisition for Police Assistance. Basis on requisition the joint team of STF/Asansol and Raniganj Police leaving for ambush watch in dark place of station No. 2. As per source indication one person was detained by the team while suspeciously roaming here and there of Asansol Station area. On being asked the person disclosed his identity as Pankaj Saw @Turi (M-19) s/o Suku Saw of Fatikpara, Asansol, during interrogation and search one ignitian key of motor cycle was recovered from the possession of the detained person when he confessed regarding theft of one motor cycle Hero Honda Passion Pro from Raniganj area. Considering his confession he was taken into custody after issuing Arrest memo. During interrogation of arrested offender disclosed that, he regularly committed crime of house theft and motor cycle theft in Asansol - Raniganj Bazar area. Recently, he had stolen two more motor cycles and yet not been disposed off. After getting the arrested person in remand, further recovery will be un-earth. Further report will follow.

10.03.21 Recovery of left behind Backpack. On 10.03.2021 at about 11.10 hrs while on duty officers and staff of RPF Post/Dumka were checking the Train No. 03442 Dn (BGP-DUMK Passenger) at Dumka Railway station which arrived on PF No. 01. During checking they find one Black ColourBackpack in Coach No. ER-17461 and the said bag was brought to RPF/Post/Dumka. Immediately, they requested the SM for announcement through PA system regarding said Backpack Bag. After some time the owner of the said Backpack namely Sanjeev Kumar, S/O- Lt. Jitendra Prasad Tanti, Vill+PO+P.S:- Rajon, Dist:- Banka, Bihar having Mobile No. 9031161953 came to the RPF/ Post/Dumka and claimed for said bag. On being asked he stated that he was travelling in Train No. 03442 Dn (BGP-DUMK Passenger), Ex- Dhauni to Dumka having ticket No. 44379476 during deboarding by mistake he left behind his said Backpack in Coach No.ER17461. After proper verification and acknowledgment, the said Backpack containing Bank Passbook, Pan Card, Aadhar Card Valuable Documents and Cloths handed over to him. Estimated value Rs 2,500/-.

10.03.21 Recovery of one left behind ladies hand bag. On 10.03.2021 two passengers namely Jay Prakash Narayan Shrma (64 years approx.) along with his wife Kalpana Shrma (59 years approx.) of H.No.B-1, G.M Lane MallahToli Main Road Niwaranpur, Ranchi, P.S- Chutia Ranchi, Dist- Ranchi, Pin No:- 834002 Jharkhand was travelling by train No. 08619 DN (Ranchi- Dumka Intercity Exp.) in Coach No. SC/078064/C (A-1), Berth No- 43 & 45, PNR No. 6348098397, Ex- Ranchi to JSME. When they de-boarded at Jasidih Railway station, they left behind their red colour ladies hand bag containing one black colour MI mobile, medicine, valuable Documents and one pair silver ring in the said train. Subsequently, they informed to RPF Security Control Room/Asansol. After that SCNL/Asansol informed to RPF/Post/Dumka. While the said train arrived at Dumka Railway station of PF No. 02 at about 07:20 hrs, on duty officers and staff of RPF/Post/Dumka attended the said coach and recovered the same. Later, the claimant namely Ranjit Kumar Chowdhury, S/O- Lt. Dhirendarnath Chowdhury of near Central Bank, Gouribihar, Vill- , PO+P.S+Dist- Dumka (Mob- 8709338050) appeared at RPF/Post/Dumka, checked own bag and contains and found ok. After proper verification and acknowledgment, the said red colour ladies hand bag (black colour) one MI mobile, medicine, Valuable Documents, 117/- rupees and one pair silver ring handed over to him. Valued Rs. 20,000/-.

11.03.21 Rescue of one minor girl. On 11.03.2021 when the BDM – ASN Passenger arrived at Platform No. 01 of Jasidih Rly station, one lady passenger reported to on duty officer of RPF Post/Jasidih that her daughter was left behind at Baidyanathdham Rly station. Accordingly, the matter was informed to Commercial staff of Baidyanathdham and on duty RPF staff of Baidyanathdham. Further, they conducted searched at Baidyanathdham Rly station and succeed to find out the said minor girl and rescued. On interrogation she disclosed her identity as Rashi Kumari, Age- 11 yrs, D/O- Manju Devi a resident of Mahesia, Saran, Bihar, 841222. Subsequently on duty RPF staff of Baidyanathdham brought the said girl at RPF Post/Jasidih. The said rescue minor girl was handed over to her mother on proper documentation.

12.03.21 Rescue of one person. On 12.03.2021 at about 08:40 hrs. information was received from SM / regarding standing of one unknown male person near UP GC line at Km. No. 224/23 in between Kulti – Sitarampur Railway Station as reported by on duty train driver of Train No. 02019 Up, on duty camping staff at Kulti Station immediately attended the spot and found the same. He was removed from the spot and brought to Kulti. During interaction he disclosed his name and address as Devendra Nath Thakur s/o Wakil Chandra Thakur of IG colony, Kulti. As such information was given to his relatives when one Suresh Prasad Thakur attended Kulti and introduced himself as his brother who revealed that his brother Devendra Nath Thakur is mentally disturbed from last few days and today in the morning he left his house without information to anyone. Accordingly, the said person was handed over to his brother under proper acknowledgement.

12.03.21 Recovery of one left behind bag On 12.03.2021 officers and staff of RPF Post/Dumka were checking the Train No. 03442 Dn (BGP-DUMK Passenger) at Dumka PF No. 01 at about 11.04 hrs. During checking they found one Black Colour Backpack Bag in Coach No. ER-14457 and brought to RPF/POST/DUMKA. Immediately, they requested for announcement through the PA system regarding said Backpack Bag. After few hours one person namely AwdheshKapri, S/O- Binod Kapri, Vill:-Kushiyari, PO:- Chihutiya, P.S:- Hansdiha, Dist:- Dumka, Jharkhand, having Mobile No:- 9631981433 came to the RPF Post/Dumka for claiming the said bag. On being asked he stated that he was travelling in Train No. 03442 Dn (BGP-DUMK Passenger), Ex:-Kurmahat to Dumka having ticket No. 82181630 during de-boarding he mistakenly had left behind his Bag in Coach No. ER-14457. After proper verification and acknowledgment the said Backpack Bag was handed over to him in well condition.Value Rs. 6,000/- approx.

13.03.21 Good work done by RPF. On 13.03.2021, at 11/30 hrs train No. 73539 UP arrival at Jasidih PF No. 01, on duty officers and staff of RPF Post/Jasidih attended the train and during special watch he noticed one passenger was found lying and seemed to be ill. On being checked it came to know that he was very ill. Hence, the officer get the passenger de-boarded from the train and reported to SM/Jasidih for further legal action. Subsequently, the officer and one staff of RPF Post/Jasidih& one staff of GRPS/Jasidih sent the ill person to the Sadar Hospital, Deoghar where the passenger was admitted in male ward No. 40 on bed No. 05 and treatment started under Dr. AhsaanTohit. The ill person could not be identified till preparation of this report.

13.03.21 Arrest of one TOPB Criminal. On 13.03.2021 officer and staff of RPF Post/Madhupur were detailed on PF No. 2 of Madhupur Rly station for safe passing of trains and keeping special watch on TOPB activities. In the course of such watch, Train No. 08183 Up (TATA-DNR Spl) arrived at 13:43 hrs when they noticed one person was running towards Kalka End in suspicious manner and hence they chased him and could able to detain him. In the mean time a group of 5 to 6 persons appeared there and one of them stated that the said person has stolen his VIVO company mobile phone when he was boarding into a general coach of the TATA-DNR train. Accordingly, on search the said lost mobile phone was recovered from the possession of said person. On being asked the accused disclosed his identity as Pawan Hari, Age 22 years, s/o Shiblal Hari a resident of Dangal Para, PO & PS- Madhupur, Dist- Deoghar (Jharkhand). The victim also disclosed his identity as Md Sahamat Ansari, Age 16 years, s/o Md Taqbul, R/O Vill:-Nawadih, PS- Madhupur, Dist- Deoghar(Jharkhand). Hence, seized the recovered mobile phone in presence of available witnesses and arrested the accused Pawan Hari and brought both the accused & victim together with seized mobile phone as well as relevant papers to GRPS/Madhupur and submitted a written complaint in this regard. Basing on this complaint, a case No. 06/21, dated 13.03.2021 U/S 379, 411 IPC has been registered against accused Pawan Hari at GRPS/Madhupur. Value Rs. 12,000/- approx.

13.03.21 Rescue of one minor child. On 13.03.2021, at about 20:05 hrs. on duty officer of RPF Post/Jasidih noticed one child was abandoned at Jasidih PF No. 01 and no person was with him. On being interrogated he disclosed his name and address as Manish Kumar Sharma, Male, 10Yrs, S/O- Late Dorhi Sharma R/O- Kolkata and stated that he wanted to go to Kolkata and his parents has died, no one is there for look after him. Accordingly, the rescued child was brought at RPF Post/Jasidih and the matter was informed to Child Line/Deoghar. Thereafter the rescued child was handed over to Child line/Deoghar for Shelter under proper acknowledgement.

14.03.21 Recovery of one left behind bag. On 14.03.2021, RPF Post/Andal(OL) received information from RPF Post/Durgapur regarding a bag was left behind at seat No. 09/10 of train No. 03001 (Hool Exp) at Durgapur Rly station. When the said train arrived at Andal PF No. 06, on duty staff of RPF Post/Andal (OL) attended the said train and recovered the said bag. At about 12:00 hrs, owner of the bag namely Bilas Saha of Durgapur arrived at RPF Post/Andal(OL) and the bag containing medicines, documents and jewellery was handed over to him under proper acknowledgement. Valued about Rs. 40,000/-.

14.03.21 Medical assistance. On 14.03.2021 a memo was issued by on duty SM/Jasidih in connection with one unknown male person aged about 60 yrs. was found lying in front of booking Counter/Jasidih in illness condition. Officers and staff of RPF Post/Jasidih attended the spot and admitted the said ill person in male emergency ward Bed No. 06 in Sadar Hospital/Deoghar for treatment. Now the said person in under treatment at Sadar Hospital/Deoghar under look after of his relative.

15.03.21 Arrest of 05 nos. notorious Criminals. On 15.03.2021 a raid was conducted by the joint team of RPF/STF/Asansol and GRPS/Asansol at abandoned area near Kalka end Asansol station PF No. 1/2 and 05 notorious criminals were arrested with (1) One of 8 mm live round loaded country made Arms (2) One 12 inch iron knife (3) One 18 inch iron rod (4) One 18 inch knife, (5) one cycle chain measuring 18 inches for assembling with intension to commit any heinous crime in night bound trains ply over Asansol Railway Station. Intelligence output shared by RPF/STF team, Asansol and left for ambush watch in dark place of station No. 1/2 near Loco shed area dated 15.03.21, when team members detected assembling of about 8/9 person in dark and at abandoned area near Kalka end Asansol station PF No-1/2, even some of them have been identified by reliable source as habituated railway criminals of mobile and luggage lifting. On sharing the information with IC/Asansol GRPS followed by confirmation report of criminal presence, the Officer & staff of GRPS have arrived and assembled on Kalka end of PF no- 1/2 of Asansol Railway Station at 02.15 hrs on 15.03.21. Thereafter the STF team jointly with Police have tried to surround all of them and successfully arrested 05 persons after a hot chase During interrogation all of arrested offenders disclosed that, they are regularly committing crime in railway night bound trains when stopped on outer signal by snatching the mobile on the point of Arms or knife as well as in colony area. They also disclosed that they were also involved in several crime cases under GRPS Asansol and North PS. All these recovered articles were seized under proper seizure list on the spot and arrested 05 person were brought to Asansol GRPS for further lawful action into the matter. In this connection, a case vide No. 17/21, dated- 15.03.2021 U/S- 399, 402 IPC and 25(1)(a) Arms Act has been registered at GRPS/Asansol against the arrested persons. All the arrested person were forwarded to LD Court on 15.03.2021.

16.03.21 Good work done by RPF On 16.03.2021 at about 09:18 hrs, while passing Train No. 02316 Dn (Udaypur- Kolkata Exp) from Simultala Station, it was noticed by on duty RPF staff of Out Post/Simultala that, one person namely Subhash Kumar, Male, 27 yrs, S/O-Kapil Dev, R/O- Srinagar, PO+PS- Belhar, Distt- Banka, Bihar jumped off from the running train No. 02316 Dn (Udaypur-Kolkata Exp) at Simultala Platform and became injured. Immediately on duty RPF staff informed this message to officer and on duty SM/Simultala and said injured person was sent to Simultala Community Health Centre with assistance of on duty porter and RPF. Further this matter informed to family member of injured person over mobile phone. His family member attended Simultala Community Health Center and brought him with them for better treatment at Sadar Hospital/Deoghar. Further report will be followed.

17.03.21 Recovery of one left behind Helmet. 0n 17.03.2021 at about 17:30 hrs information received from SCNL/Asansol regarding one helmet left behind at Jamtara Rly station on PF 01 by one passenger. As such search was made and recovered one black color stud helmet from PF No.01 at Jamtara Rly station by on duty staff of RPF Post/Jamtara, which was kept at RPF Post/Jamtara for further disposal. On 18.03.2021 at 18:35 hrs the said helmet handed over to actual owner/passenger namely Nawal Kishore Choudhary S/O Sri Yugal Choudhary of Badiyadih, P.O+P.S- Chakai, Dist- Jamui (Bihar) , Mobile No. 7004146008, after proper identification and documentation. Valued of the helmet is Rs. 1,000/-(Approx.).

18.03.21 Rescue of one minor girl. On 18.03.2021 at about 01:00 hrs. on duty seal checking staff of RPF Post/Asansol(W) noticed that one minor girl was moving in suspicious mannerat Asansol PF No. 05/06 near Kalka end. On being asked she disclosed her name and address as Anjali Kumari aged about 14 yrs. d/o Mrityunjay Singh a resident of Vill- Khairahaiya, P.S- Akbar Nagar, Dist- Bhagalpur (Bihar), Mobile No. 9382209448. Hence, the said girl was brought to RPF Post/Asansol(W) for disposal and informed to her father over the given mobile Number. At about 03:20 hrs. her brother namely Sukesh Kumar came to RPF Post/Asansol(W) and submitted an application for handing over the said rescued girl. The said rescued girl was handed over to her brother after proper verification.

18.03.21 Rescue of one minor girl. On 18.03.2021, on duty RPF lady staff of RPF Post/Durgapur while performing ticket checking duty in train No. 02381 Up (PoorvaSpl.) noticed that a minor girl aged about 16 yrs was traveling alone in suspicious condition. Accordingly, the lady staff take up the said minor girl. On being asked she disclosed her identity as Shakshi Mishra, D/O Sanjay Abhinandan Mishra of Natunpally, Risra, Hooghly and stated that she fled away from home due to family discord. Subsequently, on arrival of said train at Durgapur Railway station the said minor girl was detrained. On this issue the minor girl was brought to RPF Post/Durgapur. The matter was informed to her father over mobile. Later on, at about 16:30 hrs father & mother of said minor girl attended at RPF Post/Durgapur. As such the rescued minor girl has been handed over to her parents after due verification and under proper documentation.

19.03.21 Rescue of one old aged lady. On 19.03.2021 at about 19:21 hrs. on getting information officers and staff of RPF Post/Asansol(W) attended the train no. 02313 Up (SDAH – NDLS AC Spl.) which arrived at Asansol PF No. 04. On duty officer of train escort party handed over one lady aged about 52 yrs. seemed to be mentally ill and travelling in coach No. A- 01(16059/C) without any authority. She was brought to RPF Post/Asansol(W). On being asked she gave out her name and identity as Tapasi Choudhury d/o Adhir Ranjan Choudhury of 03/09, K.K.Banerjee Road, P.S. Berhampore, Dist- Musshidabad, (WB). Subsequently she was handed over to SwashaktiSwadharGriha, Jay Prakash Institute Ismail, Asansol for further disposal under proper acknowledgement.

19.03.21 Rescue of one minor boy. On 19.03.2021 at about 22:00 hrs on duty RPF staff of RPF Post/Barakar noticed that one minor boy was wandering alone near FOB Barakar Rly station. On being interrogated he disclosed his name and address as Md. Shiraz Alam 17 yrs S/O Md. Azaad of Gomia, Kurmatar, P.S- Gomia Distt Bokaro Jharkhand and stated that he mistakenly came to Barakar Rly station by an unknown train and he has no idea how to reach his home. On 20.03.2021 the said rescued boy was handed over to Child helpline Desk at Dhanbad station under proper acknowledgement.

20.03.21 Recovery of one left behind Mobile. On 20.3.2021 on getting information by one passenger namely Md.Munuar Ansari s/o Latif Ansari of Vill-Dhekipara, P.S- Mihijam, Dist- Jamtara( JH) regarding left behind of one android mobile, valued Rs.16,000/- in train No. 08619 UP (Ranchi - Dumka Exp.) in coach No. S-07 on berth No. 51 vide No .6748753750 travelling Ex- Ranchi to Chittaranjan. On this, he attended at RPF Post/Jamtara for recovery of his said mobile and informed to RPF Post/Jamtara. Accordingly, message was relayed to RPF on duty staff at Vidysagar station. When the said train arrived at Vidyasagar Rly station, on duty staff of RPF Post/Jamtara camped at Vidyasagar attended the said coach and recovered the said mobile and the matter was informed the said passenger. Subsequently said recovered mobile was handed over to actual owner after proper verification and documentation at about 11:30 hrs.

21.03.21 Recovery of wildlife Acting on a tip off regarding smuggling of rarest class of Tortoise/Turtle by train No. 02328 (DDN-HWH Upasana Exp.), a massive search cum raid was conducted under the suprevision of IPF/Dipankar Dey of STF/ASN in the night of 21.03.2021 in just on arrival of the train at Asansol Station PF No. 05 at about 23:55 hrs. During such checning on 5th coach from train guard compartment STF/ASN team detected 05 (five) nos of suspected Jute Packeges contained with Tortoise/Turtails underneath the side lower seat No. 39 as unclaimed and none of the passengers came to claim the articles. Hence these bags were taken into custody for further disposal through Forest Department, Asansol. Due to shortage of time the STF/ASN had to detrain the train and the the matter was describedly informed to one of the Train Escort party members and to Security Control, Howrah. In response, the Escort party informed about recovery of three Pittu Bags & one big Plastic bag in which about 6 nos of Big Turtails & 25 nos of small Tortoise were kept concealed. In the morning of 22.03.2021 the Range Officer, Salanpur arrived Asansol Reserve Coy for examination and taking charge of the recovered Turtles/Tortoise. After examination of 5 Tortoise, they identified (1) 3 black spotted Tortoise as “Indian Narrow headed Softshell Turtle- Binomial Name as CHITRA INDICA” which is known as small-headed soft- shell turtle and is an endangered species of soft-shell found in rivers of the Indian Subcontinent. (2) Remaining two greenish colour are “OLIVE RIDLEY SEA TURTLE” also commonly known as the Pacific ridley sea turtle, This is a species of turtle in the family Cheloniidae. Accordingly, all these recovered wildlife have been handed over to the Range Officer Salanpur under proper acknowledgement.

22.03.21 Recovery of one left behind mobile. On 22.03.21, on duty staff of RPF Post/Durgapur noticed 01 black coloured old and used mobile phone was lying on PF No. 04 of Durgapur Rly station near FOB. Accordingly, matter enquired among the passengers but no claimant came forward. Further, the said mobile kept in the office of RPF Post/Durgapur. Thereafter, the owner of said mobile namely Mangal Bauri, male- 27 yrs, S/o Satya Bauri of PanagarhJhoparatti Rly Colony, Panagarh Bazar, (W.B) has been contacted through his friend and informed to collect his mobile. Further, on 23.03.2021, owner of said mobile attended at RPF Post/Durgapur wherein the said mobile handed over to his owner after due verification and documentation. Value of mobile is ascertained Rs 1,500/-.

23.03.21 Rescue of 08 nos. minor children’s. On 23.03.2021 on duty officers of RPF Post/Jasidih during round at Jasidih Rly station, on arrival of train No. 02303 Up (Poorva Exp. Spl.) got information that i) Sagun, Girl, 14yrs, ii) Rokshar Parveen, Girl, 20 yrs iii) Aliya, girl, 07 yrs, iv) Abid, boy, 05 yrs, v) Masum Khan, Girl, 12 yrs, vi) Karina, Girl, 14 yrs, vii) Ariyan, Boy, 04 yrs, viii) Warish, boy, 04 yrs all of R/O- KalyanpurJuggi, NIT,Faridabad, , 121001 are in S-2 coach without any guardian. Accordingly, on duty officer and deployed staff of RPF Post/Jasidih attended the coach and found that they were very nervous and scared. On being asked they revealed that they have boarded from Madhupur and will go to NDLS but their guardian left at Madhupur and could not able to board on train due to numbers of luggage. Accordingly, they were consoled by the officer and detrained from the coach and safely taken into RPF Post/Jasidih. Their uncle was communicated by their mobile phone and later their uncle named Md. Saukat, a resident of Vill- Hirna, P.S- Deoghar town Thana, Distt- Deoghar, Jharkhand having mob No. 6205691568 came to RPF Post/Jasidih. He was identified by his nephew and niece, and the rescued children were handed over to him under proper verification and acknowledgement.

23.03.21 Recovery of one left behind bag. 0n 23.03.21 at about 09:48 hrs on getting information through SCNL/Asansol for escorting duty party of Train No. 02024 Dn (Jansadabdi Exp. Spl.), Ex Jhajha to Asansol, that a bag of bonafide passenger was left behind in coach No. C-3/B-65/66 of Train No. 02024 Dn(Jansadabdi Exp. Spl.) and Passenger get down at Jasidih station. Immediately on duty staff attended the said coach and recovered the same. Matter was informed to SCNL/Asansol as well as RPF Post/Jasidih. Matter was also informed to custodian of bag namely Abhishar Kumar of S.V.D school Kali Mandir, Hanuman Nagur Patna-20 by his mobile No. 8797047677. At the time of escorting of Train No. 08183 Up (TATA-DNR Spl), Ex ASN to JAJ by same escorting duty staff, the bag was handed over to RPF Post/Madhupur. The said Passenger arrived at RPF Post/Madhupur and submitted a written application with details of materials which kept in bag with value approx. Rs. 3,000/-. After proper verification and submitting application the recovered bag handed over to him.

24.03.21 Rescue of one minor boy. On 24.03.21 on getting information from SCNL/Dhanbad regarding one 08 yrs boy namely ArchitSukla left behind in Train No. 01447 Dn (ShaktipunjSpl.) in S-1 coach. On arrival of the said train at Asansol Rly Station, officers and staff of RPF Post/Asansol(W) attended the said train. Then TTE Sanoj Kumar Singh handed over to the said boy. The said boy was brought to RPF Post/Asansol(W) & kept in safe custody. Later, his grandfather was informed about that fact. After proper verification, said boy ArchitSukla handed over to his grandfather namely UmasankarSukla 61 yrs of Rampur Dhanbad (JH) Adhar No. 860489250188, Mob No. 7979934677, Pan No. AHGPS 3762C with good health & all ok.

24.03.21 Recovery of one left behind bag. On 24.03.2021, one passenger namely Rahul Kumar Rajak, a resident of Nehanagar, Anand Marg Sagar (M.P.) was travelling on berth No. 32 in B-1 coach of train No. 09608 (Madar - KOAA Spl.) having PNR No. 2416178676 Ex. Saugor to Kolkata got down at Asansol Rly station for taking tea & snacks. In the meantime, the train left the station. Accordingly, the said passenger was informed the matter to SCNL/Asansol through Helpline No. 139. On getting information from SCNL/Asansol, on arrival of said train at Durgapur Railway station on platform No. 04 at about 13:14 hrs, on duty RPF officer and staff of RPF Post/Durgapur attended the said coach and recovered the bag containing personal belongings. The matter was informed to actual owner of the said bag through SCNL/Asansol. Further, the said person attended at RPF Post/Durgapur and identified his bag. As such, the recovered bag was handed over to him under proper documentation. Value of recovered property is Rs. 4,000/-.

24.03.21 Rescue of one girl. On 24.03.2021 at about 16.25 hrs on duty staff of RPF Post/Durgapur while performing duty at PF No. 04 of Durgapur Rly station noticed that a girl aged about 18 yrs was moving alone aimlessly at PF No. 04 of Durgapur station in suspicious condition. Accordingly, the said staff with LHC of RPF Post/Durgapur attended the said lady. On being asked she disclosed her identity as Tamanna Parween age- 18 yrs s/o Md. SamsadAlam a resident of Sadi Mohalla, Konra, P.S - Barhi, Dist- Hazaribag (JH). and stated that she fled away from home due to family discord and she boarded in train No. 04222 (LKO - KOAA Spl.) from Koderma. The rescued girl was brought to RPF Post/Durgapur. Accordingly, the matter was informed to her father over mobile. On 25.03.21 her father and some relatives of said girl attended at RPF Post/Durgapur. As such the rescued girl was handed over to her father in presence of relatives after due verification under proper documentation.

25.03.21 Recovery of one left behind bag. On 25.03.21 an information was received from RPF Post/Asansol(W) that one red colour bag containing personal belongings and documents left behind at PF No 2 of Durgapur Railway Station. Accordingly, the matter was informed to RPF Post/Durgapur. On duty officers and staff of RPF Post/Durgapur conducted search and recovered the bag which was found kept on concrete seat of above platform. Immediately matter was informed to the informant. Later on, the owner of said bag Namely Praveen Kumar Pal of Bairbara P.S- Bankhead, Bhopal (MP) came to RPF Post/Durgapur and disclosed that he a/w his family had reservation in Train No. 02912 (Shinpra Exp) with PNR No. 6147035829, Ex- Durgapur to Bhopal but due to hurriedness he left behind his bag on PF No. 02. As such after due verification the said bag was handed over to him under proper documentation. Value of the retrieved bag is Rs. 2,000/-.

25.03.21 Rescue of one minor girl. On 25.03.2021 information was received from SCNL/Asansol that one missing girl namely Nitu Kumari aged about 15 yrs is travelling in train No. 02644 Patna Ernakulam Exp. On getting such information, on duty officers and staff of RPF Post/Asansol(W) attended the said train on arrival at Asansol Rly station. They searched the entire train thoroughly when the said missing girl was found sitting in Coach No. S-4, Berth No. 03. On being asked she disclosed her name as Nitu Kumari. As such she was brought to RPF Post/Asansol(W) and matter was informed to his parents through SCNL/Asansol. On 26.03.2021 her father namely Sanjay Kumar of Basar, Basar Arai, Gaya, AraniKesopur, Bihar , 805109 came to RPF Post/Asansol(W) and submitted a written application for handing over her daughter. Accordingly, the said girl was handed over to her father after proper verification.

26.03.21 Rescue of one minor boy. On 26.03.2021 at about 00:30 hrs after the arrival of train No. 03009 Up on PF No. 01 at Barakar Rly station, on duty officer of RPF Post/Barakar rescued one minor boy who was weeping and travelling alone in the subject train as reported by on duty TTE. On duty officer of RPF Post/Barakar interacted with him when he disclosed his name and address Md. Rehan Shah 13 years s/o Md. Manowar Shah of Shahid Nagar Mazar Sharif, P.S- Raniganj, Distt- Paschim Burdwan (WB) and revealed that he has fled away from his house without informing to any one and boarded the subject train at Raniganj. He also disclosed the mobile no of his father. As such contact was made with his father over disclosed mobile no and after getting information his father attended at RPF Post/Barakar and both of them identified each other. His father produced relevant documents regarding their identities and after proper verification and identification the rescued minor boy was handed over to his father under proper acknowledgement.

26.03.21 Rescue of one unsound mind girl. On 26.03.2021 an unsound mind girl namely Shreyasi Datta aged about 23 yrs. d/o Somen Dalla of Vill- UsaNillay, P.O- Dalmianagar, Dist- Rohtas (BH) was rescued by on duty officers and staff of RPF Post/Asansol(W) at Asansol PF No. 04. The said girl was brought to RPF Post/Asansol(W). On being asked said girl disclosed her father’s mobile No. 9903188613. Accordingly, the matter was informed to her father. At about 12:25 hrs. her father namely Soumen Datta came to RPF Post/Asansol(W) and submitted an application for handing over her daughter. The said girl was handed over to her father after proper verification.

27.03.21 Rescue of one minor boy On 27.03.2021 information was received from Train escorting party of Train No. 05050 that one minor boy namely MD. Sohail 12 yours S/O MD. Siraj of Baharich (UP) fled away from his house due to chided by his mother who was travelling in Train No. of D4 coach. On duty Officer of RPF Post/ASN(W) attended the coach at Asansol station and found the above boy was present in said coach. Accordingly, the boy was handed over to on duty officer of RPF post/ASN(W). On 28.03.2021 the boy was handed over to Aditya Mali team member of Rly Childline/Asansol for further legal disposal.

27.03.21 Rescue of one minor girl. On 27.03.2021 at about 05:30 hrs. one minor girl with 01 person namely Sanjit Dutta age-21 yrs. were rescued by the officers and staff of RPF Post/Panagarh during checking in Jhapta Dhal Railway line of Khana link area. On being asked it could be learnt that they escaped from home without the consent of their Parents. The name of the gril is Baitali Mate aged about 17 yrs. and the man was Sanjit Dutta, both are of Vill.-Karunjee, Khana JN., PS.- Aushgram, Dist.- Purb Burdwan (WB). Accordingly, the matter was informed to their Parents about this incident and on getting information their parents attended at RPF Post/Panagarh. After proper documents & verification the said minor girl was handed over to her parents.

27.03.21 Arrest of one smuggler. On 27.03.2021, a source information was received regarding smuggling of contraband items in train no. 02313 Up (Sealdah-New Delhi spl). When the train arrived at Durgapur on PF No. 03 at about 18:44 hrs a raid was conducted by the officers of Custom & Excise Deptt/Durgapur and DRI/Kolkata with the assistance of RPF/Durgapur in B-14 coach of said train. Based on the said information, IC/GRPs/Sealdah and SI/RPF/Sealdah who already were present in the said coach, joined the raiding team. During such raid, one person who was travelling on berth no. 47 of said coach Ex- SDAH to NDLS was detrained with his trolley bag and brought to RPF Post/Durgapur. On enquiry the detained person disclosed his identity as Sajjan Kumar Soni (M-50 yrs), S/o Lt. PrahladSoni, a resident of Nawalgarh, Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan at present residing at Nisko Bazar, O gate, PurbaSanpuipara, Bally, Jagachha, Howrah. On being checked his bag, no contraband items was found but on deep interrogation, the person disclosed that he is carrying 04 nos. of gold biscuit each weighing about 115 gms. which have been concealed into his body organ. Despite several efforts, neither the concealed gold biscuit could be extracted from inside of his body organ nor could be able to trace from the outside. Accordingly, the detained person was taken to DRI/Kolkata by the officials of DRI/Kolkata and Custom & Excise Deptt/Durgapur for further scanning of his body parts and recovery of concealed gold biscuit. On 28.03.2021, body organ of the apprehended person was thoroughly checked at Directorate of Revenue Intelligence and recovered 05 nos. of gold biscuit total weight 1151.04 grams from his body organ. The recovered gold biscuit is suspected to have been smuggled from Myanmar and total value of recovered gold biscuit is estimated as Rs. 53,17,805/- (@ Rs. 4620/- gram). Accordingly, the recovered gold biscuit has been seized by Intelligence Officer/ DI/Kolkata under section 110 of Customs Act 1962. In this respect a case vide No. DRI/KZU/AS/ENQ-27(INT-07)/2021 dtd. 28.03.2021 u/s 135 of Customs Act 1962 has been registered against the arrested person.

30.03.21 Rescue of one minor girl. On 30.03.2021 on duty staff of RPF Out Post/Katoria noticed one girl aged about 15 years was sitting on PF No. 02 of Katoria Rly station a/w one young boy aged about 22 years. On being asked they revealed their names and identities as Tannu Kumari, Age- 15 Years, D/O- Sri Dinesh Pandey of Baliameham, Distt- Banka, Bihar and Vikky Pandey, Male- 22 Years, S/O- Sri Manoj Pandey of BaliaMaham, Distt- Banka, Bihar. Subsequently, on duty staff informed the matter to on duty officer of RPF Post/Jasidih, present deployed at Out Post/Katoria. Later, on duty officer of RPF Out Post/Katotia attended the P.O. During enquiry it could be learnt that both were escaped from their house. Subsequently, he conveyed the matter and circumstances to their parents and Local PS/Katoria. Later, Local PS/Kotoria arrived at Katoria Rly station with their parents when both were handed over under proper acknowledgment.

30.03.21 Recovery of one mobile. On 30.03.2021 at 13:30 hrs while on duty staff of RPF Post/Madhupur was performing duty at circulating area of Madhupur station, noticed one Samsung Android mobile phone was lying unattended on the floor near main entrance of Madhupur Rly station. Hence, he recovered the said mobile phone. Thereafter, announcement is made through PA system but nobody came forward to claim it. Then the owner of this phone has been contacted after getting his number from the contacts saved on the phone. Later on owner of said phone namely KaleshwarMahato s/o Late TaraniMahato of Village- Jariyatand, P.S- Madhupur, Dist-Deoghar(JH) appeared at RPF Post/Madhupur and the said recovered mobile phone has been handed over to him after verification & documentation. The owner stated that the approximate value of the phone is Rupees 8,000/-.

30.03.21 Injury of one female person. On 30.03.2021 at about 10:00 hrs, getting information from on duty SM/Jamtara, as reported by SM/Kaseetar that one unknown female aged about 30 yrs was lying injured near outside Dn Main Line at Km No. 260/28-30 near Kaseetar station. Immediately on duty officer and staff of RPF Pot/Jamtara attended the P.O, and found the same. Immediately they shifted said injured female at S.D.Hospital/Jamtara at about 10:45 hrs by RPF/Vehicle for her treatment with treatment memo of SM/Kaseetar with the information of Local PS/Jamtara, she was unable to speak at present. No any railway ticket found from her possession or at PO.

31.03.21 Rescue of one girl and boy. On 31.03.2020 Party in-charge of train escort party of train No. 03288 Dn (South Bihar Festival Spl.) detected one minor girl namely Shweta Kumari, F-17 yrs., C/O- Sanjay Paswan, DariyarpurJhakhar, Kishanpur, Lakhisarai, Bihar-811311 and Mantun Kumar, M-16 yrs., C/O-Jagdish Manjhi, Vill-Digha, P.O-PatnerLakhisarai, Bihar-811311 from train at 02:05 hrs. On the basis of suspicion, the escort party interrogated them and it could be learnt that they have fled away from their home. The party in-charge of escort party handed over both of them to RPF Post/Asansol(W). Accordingly, the matter was informed to Railway Childline/Asansol. Subsequently, Sri Sourabh Mitra, Team Member and others came at RPF Post/Asansol(W) and took charge of them at 04:30 hrs. for necessary action.

31.03.21 Arrest of one person. On 31.03.2021 from 10:00 hrs to 10:40 hrs, on the basis of source information an ambush and secret watch conducted over the criminals in veiw of theft of passenger belongings by officers and staff of RPF Post/Jamtara at Vidyasagar Railway station area. During secret watch and ambush, raiding party noticed one person was present near UP Railway track at Km No. 270 near Vidyasagar Railway station in suspicious manner. On this, raiding party tried to apprehend the said person but he tried to flee away but then and their raiding party able to catch him. On inquiry he disclosed his identity as SonuSeikh (M-32) s/o AsgarSeikh residence of Hussaini Molalla, Karmatar, P.S- Karmatar, Dist-Jamtara, JH and on further asking the detained person failed to produce any legal authority as well as failed to give any satisfactory reply about his presence at the said Railway area. After that on deep interrogation by officer of RPF Post/Jamtara he stated that he was planning to snatching passenger belongings from running trains while trains passing through the said area in slow motion by hitting with stick on the hand of passengers sitting near gates in trains but on same date could not success in his motive due to ambush of RPF personnel and accepted his guilt. He also used filthy language and hot talk with raiding party. After that he was taken into the custody at about 10:45 hrs and brought to RPF Post/Jamtara for further legal action. On the basis of complaint of SI/M.Paswan of RPF Post/Jamtara a case No. 50/2021 dated 31.03.2021 u/s 145/146/147 Rly Act has been registered against said arrested accused and he has forwarded to Ld.Court/RJM/Madhupur after observing all legal formalities for further legal action.

31.03.21 Recovery of one left behind bag. On 31.03.2021 on getting information regarding one left behind hand bag of a passenger in coach No. D-3 of Train No. 02340 (DHN – HWH Exp. Spl.). When the said train arrived at Asansol Rly station, on duty officers and staff of RPF Post/Asansol(W) attended the said coach and recovered the said bag. The said bag was brought to RPF Post/Asansol(W) for further disposal. At about 12:00 hrs. the passenger namely Sanjeev Kumar (Mob. No. 8789023265) came to RPF Post/Asansol(W) and submitted an application for handing over the same bag. After proper verification and documentation, the said recovered bag handed over to him. Value of the recovered bag is Rs. 400/-(approx.).

31.03.21 Recovery of one left behind mobile. On 31.03.2021 received an information from a passenger regarding left behind of mobile in B-3 coach, berth No 51& 53 of train No. 02643 Up (Ernakulum Express spl). Accordingly matter informed to on duty staff of RPF Post/Madhupur who was performing TLC duty in the said train. He attended the said coach and could able to recover the said mobile and matter informed to the owner. On 01.04.2021 the owner came to RPF Post/Madhupur and disclosed his identity as Samir Sagar Choude S/O SonaramChoude of Vill- Chengarbad, P.S- Gandey, Distt.- Giridih (Jh). and stated that he was traveling in B-3 coach of train No 02643 Up from TCR to MDP having PNR No 4621294271. During deboarding at Madhupur Rly station one Mobile with charger were left behind in train. Accordingly, the recovered mobile phone with charger was handed over to him after proper verification and documentation. Value of the mobile ascertained by the owner is Rs 7,000/-(approx.).

01.04.21 Recovery of one Mobile. On 01.04.2021 at about 08:45hrs on duty staff of RPF Post/Barakar noticed that one keypad mobile phone of Reliance Jio company was lying on PF No. 02 of Kalubathan Rly station. On this he collected the phone and tried his best to know its actual owner but none came forward for claiming the same. As such he contacted over some dialed numbers when it could be learnt that the subject mobile phone belonged to one Babujan Ansari s/o Maniruddin Miya of Vill- Jaipur, P.S- Nirsa, Distt- Dhanbad (JH). As such after getting information the owner of recovered mobile phone attended at RPF Out Post/Kalubathan and the said phone was handed over to him after proper verification and identification. Value of recovered mobile is Rs. 2,000/-.

02.04.21 Recovery of one left behind Mobile. On 02.04.2021 on getting information regarding, one person Mukesh Kumar Sinha (Male), S/O- Harimohan Mondal, R/O- Professor colony, Gonda, Distt- Gonda was travelling Ex- JSME to RMU by train No. 03019 Up (Bagh Festival Spl.). During boarding on 02.04.2021 from JSME, he left behind his mobile phone valued Rs. 4,000/- which is connected at the charging point at Jasidih Rly station. Thereafter, he informed to SCNL/Asansol through 139. Immediately on duty staff of RPF Post/Jasidih reached at PF No. 02 near FOB and could able to recover mobile phone and charger and brought to RPF Post/Jasidih for safe custody. Also matter was informed to Mukesh Kumar over mobile. Further his brother-in-law named Harshwardhan (Male a resident of Vill+Post - Ghormara, P.S- Mohanpur, Distt- Deoghar appeared at RPF Post/Jasidih on 02.04.2021 and the said recovered mobile phone was handed over to him under proper documentation and acknowledgement.

03.04.21 Injury of one male person On 03.04.2021, on duty officer of RPF Post/Jasidih received source information that one old person aged 62 years lying in injured condition at Km No. 322/41-43 Up Advance signal of Jasidih Rly station while he was crossing the railway track near UP Advance signal, one Goods Train suddenly came and dashed him. Subsequently, on duty officer of RPF Post/Jasidih informed the matter to on duty Station Master/Jasidih and promptly moved towards the P.O. and found that one male person aged about 62 yrs was laying in injured condition at Km No.322/41-43 (UP advance signal/Jasidih) beside the Railway track, whose right leg was cut and right hand was badly injured with hanging condition and head was also injured. On being asked the said injured person disclosed his name and identifies as Kartik Tanti, Male-62 Yrs, S/O- Late Sito Tanti a resident of Dhamna, PO+PS- Jhajha, Distt- Jamui(Bihar). No any ticket/Pass or traveling authority was found from the possession of injured person except Aadhar Card. Thereafter, the injured person was sent to Sadar Hospital/Deoghar with the assistance of RPF staff by government Ambulance where he was admitted in emergency Ward No. 23, Bed No. 05 on 1st floor under the treatment of Dr. R. P. Singh.

03.04.21 Recovery of two left behind bags. On 03.04.21 an information received from the relative of a passenger of Train No. 02306 Dn (Rajdhani Exp. Spl.) regarding left behind of two bags in B-7 coach, berth No. 12. Accordingly, after informing the matter to the train escort party a/w on duty PF staff of RPF Post/Madhupur attended the said coach on arrival of the said train at Madhupur Rly station PF No. 3 at 08:32 hrs and could able to recovered the said bags and brought to RPF Post/Madhupur. On being informed the relative of the said passenger came to RPF Post/Madhupur and disclosed his identity as Ravi Kumar Pandey S/O Late Arun Pandey, Vill- Hadlatand, P.S.- Madhupur, Distt- Deoghar (JH) and stated that Sri Yugal Tiwari was traveling in B-7 coach of train No 02306 Dn (Rajdhani Exp. Spl.) from NDLS to JSME but he de-boarded at DDU station due to health problem and his two bags are left behind in the train. Accordingly, the recovered bags were handed over to Sri Ravi Kumar Pandey, the relative of passenger after proper verification and documentation. The bags containing medicines, valuable documents and wearing apparels etc. Value of the bags ascertained by the owner is Rs 20,000/-(approx.).

03.04.21 Rescue of one minor boy On 03.04.2021 on duty officer of RPF Post/Jasidih was in round as Duty Officer, On getting information from on duty lady Const. of RPF Post/Jasidih deployed at CCTV room that one child is abandoning aimlessly at PF No. 01 of Jasidih Rly station and no one is with him. Accordingly, officer of RPF Post/Jasidih reached there and found the child and interrogated him. During interrogation the boy disclosed that he had run away from home as his mother beaten and scolded him. He also disclosed his name and addresses as Subhash Kumar, Male, 07 yrs, S/O- Pradip, Thakur, R/O- Simultala, Jamui, Bihar. The said rescued boy was brought to RPF Post/Jasidih and the matter was informed to his family member. Later his uncle resides in Satsangnagar, Town Thana, Deoghar, Jharkhand attended the RPF Post/Jasidih. Hence, after proper verification the said child was handed over to his uncle named Chandan Kumar having mob No. 7762948784.

04.04.21 Recovery of one left behind bag. On 04.04.21 on getting information through Rail Madad regarding one green colour bag left behind at Asansol Rly station on PF No. 02 by one passenger namely Bhardwaj Mishra aged about 26 yrs PNR No. 6449017067 Mob No. 9753614844 whose ticket authority in S-3/68 of Train No 03288 Dn(South Bihar Festival Spl.). On duty officer of RPF Post/Asansol(W) managed to found the said bag and the same was brought to RPF Post/Asansol(W) & kept in safe custody. After proper verification, the said recovered bag (one MI power bank, one mobile charger, one tiffin box, some medicines) was handed over to his friend namely Ravindra Kumar Singh of Domahani Rly station a resident of Quarter No. 607/C, Asansol, Aadhar No. 521298757742, Mob No. 8116775250. Total value of recovered articles is 3,500/approx.

05.04.21 Recovery of one bag On 05.04.2021 an information was received from Lady SI of RPF Post/Asansol (West) that one black coloured bag of a passenger is kept in D-2 coach on seat No. 38 of train No. 02304Dn (Poorva Exp. Spl.) and owner of said bag has got minor injury in his hand while he was trying to board in said train when the train had started from Asansol Rly station. Accordingly, on arrival of said train at Durgapur on PF No. 04 at 14:06 hrs, officer and staff of RPF Post/Durgapur attended the said coach and recovered the same. The said bag was kept at RPF Post/Durgapur for its further disposal. Further, at about 15:50 hrs one person came at RPF Post/Durgapur and disclosed himself as Devraj Bharti a resident of 51/1A Satish Mukharjee Road Kolkata and claimed as the owner of the recovered bag. Further, he stated that he was travelling Ex- Jamui to HWH vide PNR No. 228735452 in above said train and got injury at Asansol while he was trying to board in running train. After being confirmed, the recovered bag was handed over to him after due verification and documentation. The value of recovered bag as Rs 2,000/-.

05/06.0 Recovery of one mobile. 4.21 On 05/06.04.2021 at about 01:30 hrs, on getting information from on duty train escort staff of train No. 05028 (Maurya Express) regarding fallen down of one Mobile phone of a bonafide passenger near Kulti Railway station who was travelling in said train. Acting on this information on duty camping staff of Kulti immediately rushed towards P.O as indicated by passenger and after hard searching in night period the staff was able to found mobile phone from Railway track and he informed the matter to on duty train escort staff, Accordingly on 06.04.2021 one person appeared to the office of RPF Post/Barakar and introduced himself as the owner of the said mobile and also narrated whole episode in writing that he was going to Bokaro from Kiul Railway station for NTPC exam and during journey his mobile was slipped from his hand and fell down on track. Only after reaching at Dhanbad he acknowledged that his mobile has detected and recovered by on duty RPF staff Kulti. Further he stated that he was travelling in coach No. S-2 vide PNR No. 2318215886 and after completion of his examination he will came to RPF Post for taken his mobile phone. As such after proper identification and verification the recovered mobile was handed over to its actual owner namely Shivdhan Kumar a resident of Vill- SigishewarRola, Post- Noaugarhi, P.S- Mohfassil, Distt- Munger, Bihar under proper acknowledgement. The value of recovered mobile phone make Realme 3 Pro is 13,000/- approx.

06.04.21 Recover of one bag. On 06.04.2021, one passenger namely Girish Chamoli a resident of House No. 04, DobaraKyari, Tehri Garwal, Uttarakhand was boarded in B-10 coach of train No. 02313 Up (SDAH-NDLS AC Spl.) at having PNR No. 6349340298 reserved berth No. 22 Ex. SDAH to NDLS. As soon as the train left the station, he realise that mobile phone of his friend who came to see-off him is remained in his pocket. Immediately, he applied ACP and got down from train to hand over the mobile. In the meantime on duty RPF staff of SDAH apprehended him and further after rectification the train left but his bag was remained on his berth. Further, the matter was informed to RPF Post/Durgapur through SCNL/Asansol. Accordingly, on arrival of said train at Durgapur Railway station on platform No. 03 at about 18.45 hrs, on duty RPF staff attended the said coach and retrieved the bag, The matter was informed to the owner of the bag. Further, the person attended at RPF Post/Durgapur and identified his bag. As such, the retrieved bag has been handed over to him after due verification under proper documentation. Value of retrieved property is Rs. 2,500/-.

07.04.21 Recovery of one left behind bag. 0n 07.04.2021 at about 03:40 hrs, received information from on duty RPF staff of Chittaranjan regarding one bag left behind mistakenly in Train No.08619 Dn (Ranchi Katihar Spl.) in coach No. D-2, Berth No. 78 & 79 of one passenger namely Pradeep Kr. Yadav (M-25) s/o Sri Anandi Yadav a resident of Hindustan Cable, Rupnarayanpur, Near Jal Tanki who was travelling in said train from Ranchi to Chittaranjan vide PNR No. 634-9508311 and he was detrain at Chittaranjan Rly station. On such information on duty RPF camping staff of Vidyasagar attended the said train on arrival of the said train at Vidyasagar Rly station and recovered the said bag containing one mobile samsung, cloth, books and bank pass book. The said recovered bag with all articles handed over to actual owner/passenger after proper identification and documentation, value of the materials including bag is Rs. 20,000/-.

07.04.21 Arrest of one TOPB criminal. On 07.04.2021, on duty staff of RPF Post/Madhupur was detailed at Madhupur platform premise to keep special watch on TOPB activity. In the course of his duty period, noticed one person on suspicious manner roaming on Howrah End of PF No. 03 of Madhupur Rly station at about 03:30 hrs. On this he asked the person the reason of his presence at platform premise in night hour and when the person failed to give any satisfactory reply, then on duty RPF staff informed the matter to GRP personnel at GRPS/Madhupur on PF No. 3. Then on further interrogation, the person disclosed his identity as Azhar Ansari, Male- 21 years, s/o Sirajuddin Ansari a resident of Vill- Parojori, P.S- Margomunda, Distt- Deoghar, Jharkhand. Later on, Azhar Ansari was taken into custody by GRP and he was forwarded before SDO/Madhupur by GRP U/S 109 CrPC for taking cognizance.

06/07.0 Recovery of wildlife 4.21 As per direction, sources have been deployed to collect intelligence regarding smuggling of rarest animals, birds in trains when as per source indication a massive search cum raid has been conducted in the night of 06-07.04.2021 in train No. 02312 Dn (Kalka- Howrah Netaji Exp. COVID Special.) on arrival at Asansol station PF No.5 at about 04:25 hrs. During such combing checking starting from Rear General Compartment by the Asansol STF team has started checking in sleeper & General coaches as mentioned above, when (i) 02 (Two) nos. of small cages having three partitions each encaging 55 small species of parakeet/Rose Ring. Total 110 nos of Parakeet/Rose ring & (ii) 01 (one) no of small cage having two partition in which encaging 55 small species of Munia. Since, all three nos. of small cages were detected as unclaimed underneath the Railway Passenger general class side lower seat no. 55-56, and there was reason to believe that all recovered 165 nos. of “Chicks” are restricted commodity of bird for transportation as well as selling as per Wildlife Protection Act’1972. Since no person amongst passenger of the said Coach has claimed these parakeets as his own and lawful transportation hence it is strongly suspected to have smuggled by any unknown person, hence these were taken into custody as un-claimed illegal articles and unloaded from the train compartment. After proper checking and counting the seizure list have been prepared at Asansol PF no.-7 Kalka end near Jhansirani Railway Ground for further disposal through Forest Department, Asansol.In the morning, the Range Officer, Salanpur arrived Asansol Reserve Coy for examination and taking charge of the recovered 165 nos of parakeet/rose ring & Munia Bird chicks, when after minute examination the Forest department personnel informed that as per Wild Life Protection Act 1972, the selling, procuring & conducting any kinds of business of Birds is punishable Offence. As per Black market rate, these bird chicks having rate for Rs. 600/- per pcs of parakeet/Rose Ring & Rs. 50/- per Munia. i.e total value of recovered Bird Chicks are Rs. 68750.00/-. Accordingly, all three cages of Bird Chicks were handed over to Forest Department for further rehabilitation with proper acknowledgement.

08.04.21 Arrest of one TOPB criminal. On 08.04.2021 at about 16.40 hrs, on the basis of source information a secret watch was conducted by officers and staff of RPF Post/Jamtara at Vidyasagar Railway station along with on duty Vidyasagar camping staff under the supervision of PC/Jamtara in view of arrest of active TOPB criminals at Vidyasagar Railway station. During such secret watch, Train No. 03030 DN (Howrah – Eid-Ul FitraSpl.) arrived at PF No.01 of Vidyasagar Railway station at about 18:08 hrs, suddenly noticed one passenger of the said train sougthedChorChorChor. On hearing this sound they noticed one person was running towards Kalka end in hurry condition. After successful chase, officer and staff were able to detained the person with 02 mobile (1) Realme C-2 mobile valued Rs. 7,500/- (2) one keypad Samsung mobile valued Rs.1600/- Total=9,100/- and cash Rs. 900/-. On interrogation he disclosed his identity as namely Saiyad Ansari (M-24) s/o Lt. Safiuddin Ansari a resident of Laharjouri, Chatapathar, P.S- Margomunda, Dist-Deoghar, JH. On deep interrogation he stated that he pick pocketed the said mobile from one passenger in the said train in running condition. One passenger namely Arjun Shaw (M-20) s/o Sri Sujit Shaw residence of Mohaldangal, PS-Jamtara, Diat-Jamtara, JH submitted complaint regarding pickpockets of his Realme C-2 mobile in the said train against the said apprehended picpokecter. As such the said recovered mobile was seized by officer of Jamtara at the spot in presence of available witnesses and taken into the custody at about 18:20 hrs and brought him to RPF Post/Jamtara for further legal action at about 18:50 hrs. The arrested person was forwarded to GRP/Madhupur for further legal action as per law. In this regard, GRP/Madhupur has been registered a case No. 07/2021 dated 08.04.2021 u/s 379 & 411 IPC against arrested person.

08.04.21 Recovery of one mobile. On 08.04.2021 at about 10:30 hrs on duty staff of RPF Post/Madhupur noticed one Infinix Company Android mobile phone was lying unattended on the floor near UTS counter/Madhupur hence, he recovered the said mobile phone. Thereafter, he asked the persons standing on queue at UTS & Reservation counter about the ownership of said mobile phone, but nobody claimed it. Then announcement was made through PA system but again nobody came forward to claim it. Finally, the owner of the mobile phone is traced out from the contacts saved in the phone and on being informed he stated that his mobile phone has fell down from the pocket of his trouser while he was busy in purchasing a railway ticket at booking counter, Madhupur. So, he has been advised to come at RPF Post Madhupur with relevant papers. Later on, the owner of the phone namely Majrul Hussain, S/O Md. Rafiq a resident of Kalhajor, P.O- Madhupur, PS- Madhupur, Dist-Deoghar (Jharkhand) appeared at RPF Post/Madhupur and the recovered mobile phone has been handed over to him after verification & documentation. Value of the phone is rupees 15,500/- As stated by the owner.

08.04.21 Recovery of one wallet. On 08.04.2021 a passenger namely Champak Mandal, Male (52 years) a resident of W, 51 Chattaguda, P.O- Chitabeda, Tehsil- Jharigum, P.S- Jharigum, Distt- Nabarangapur, Odisha de-boarded at Jasidih Railway station from Train No. 03287 (South Bihar Exp.) and by the time he noticed that his wallet had been left on his berth but the train had already left Jasidih Railway station. He immediately informed to RPF Post/Jasidih, then on duty staff came on prompt action informed the matter to on duty joint seal checking staff of RPF Post/Jaidih at Jhajha Rly station. Accordingly, on duty RPF seal checking staff of Jhajha attended the coach and succeed in finding the left behind Wallet. Subsequently, the recovered wallet was brought to RPF Post/Jasidih and handed over to its actual owner on proper documentation and acknowledgement. The value of recovered wallet is Rs 1,000/-.

08/9.04. Recovery of wildlife 21 As per direction, sources were deployed to collect intelligence regarding smuggling of rarest animals, birds, wildlife in trains when as per source indication a massive search cum raid was conducted in the night of 08-09.04.2021 in train No. 02312 Dn (Kalka- Howrah Netaji Exp. COVID Special.) on arrival at Asansol station PF No.5 at about 04:35 hrs. During such combing checking from Rear General Compartment by the Asansol STF team in sleeper & General coaches as mentioned above, when (i) 02 (Two) nos. of small cages having two partitions each encaged 65 small species of parakeet. Total 130 nos. of Parakeet/Rosering/Alexandrain chicks (ii) 01 (one) no. of small cage having three partitions encaged 70 small species of parakeet/Rosering. Since, all four nos of small cages were detected as unclaimed underneath the Railway Passenger general class side lower seat no. 47-48, and there was reason to believe that all recovered 200 nos of “Chicks” are restricted commodity of bird for transportation as well as selling as per Wildlife Protection Act’1972. Since no person amongst passenger of the said Coach has claimed these parakeets as his own and lawful transportation hence it is strongly suspected to have smuggled by any unknown person, hence these were taken into custody as un-claimed illegal articles and unloaded from the train compartment. Accordingly, all three cages of Bird Chicks were handed over to Forest Department for further rehabilitation with proper acknowledgement.

08.04.21 Arrest of one TOPB criminal On 08.04.2021 Train No. 03185 Up (Sealdah-JaynagarGangasar Exp. Spl.) arrived on Madhupur PF No. 02 at 23:34 hrs and departed at 23:37 hrs. As soon as the train passed from PF No. 02, one person in suspicious manner was noticed on Railway track and was approaching towards main gate. On seeing this, officer & staff of RPF Post/Madhupur chased him and they could be able to detain him and brought to RPF Post/Madhupur for interrogation purpose. During searching they found one mobile phone of Techno company from his possession, but in this regard he failed to gave any satisfactory reply. In the meantime one call came on this mobile phone of one person namely Shyam Sundar Yadav of Village- ParsahiManharwa, P.S- Ladnia, Dist-Madhubani(Bihar) and he claimed the phone of his own which was snatched by a culprit at Madhupur Rly station during his journey in Gangasar Exp train from Sealdah to Madhubani. Accordingly, the detained person admitted his guilt of snatching the said mobile phone of a passenger in Train No. 03185 Up (Gangasar Exp Spl.) at Madhupur Rly station and could able to detrain on opposite side of PF No. 02 and concealed himself behind wagon of a goods train. The detained accused disclosed his identity as Amit Kumar Mahato, aged 20 years, s/o Laxmeshwar Mahato, a resident Vill- KarounaBisoul, P.S- Harlakhi, Dist- Madhubani(Bihar). In this connection, officer of RPF Post/Madhupur has submitted a written complaint at GRPS/Madhupur and a case No. 08/21 dated 09.04.2021 U/S 379, 414 IPC has been registered at GRPS/Madhupur against the arrested accused.

09.04.21 Injury of one male person. On 09.04.2021 at about 18:05 hrs one lady passenger namely Shohrat Parvin of Train No. 02023 Up (Howrah – Patna Exp. Spl.) arrived at RPF Post/Madhupur PF No.02 at about 18:00 hrs and informed to on duty staff of RPF Post/Madhupur that she along with her husband namely Md. Abash and two child were travelling from HWH to PNBE by above noted train having PNR No. 6811929615 in coach No. D-10 seat No. 74,75,76. While the train was running between Madankata-Joramow, her husband came on gate for spitting (Gutka) from his mouth and fell down from the train. In this connection she gave a written statement to on duty officer of RPF Post/Madhupur about this incident. In the mean time, massage about fell down of one unknown passenger from running train at Km No. 281/05 also received by villagers of Chandiajouri situated nearby place of occurrence. Immediately on duty staff of RPF Post/Madhupur proceed for P.O by Train No. 63564 Dn. Matter also informed to PS-Pathroul as well as Ambulance for arrived at P.O. At about 19:00 hrs both staff arrived at P.O and found that one passenger is lying in senseless condition after fell down from train and roll down about 35-40 fit down direction in South side from UP Rly track. Accordingly, ambulance arrived at P.O at about 20:26 hrs. and injured person has brought to Refaral Hospital/Madhupur for treatment. His wife Sohrat Parvin has been sent to hospital by assistant of RPF. After provided treatment by Dr Sanjiv Singh, refer to Sadar Hospital Deoghar for better treatment. No any memo received from any corner.

10.04.21 Recovery of one left behind bag. On 10.04.2021 at about 09:05 hrs information received from SCNL/Asansol regarding one bag left behind in train No 02322 Dn(Mumbai-Howrah Spl). when the said train arrived at Panagarh Rly station, on duty staff of RPF Post/Panagarh attended the said train and recover the same bag. Later, one lady came to RPF Post/Panagarh and she revealed that her mother was travelling in train No. 02322 Dn(Mumbai-Howrah Spl) from Burhanpur to Raniganj having PNR No. 8437171267 in coach No. S-8/52 namely Uma Devi Pathak wife of Late Rajendra Prasad Pathak and during her deboarding at Raniganj Railway station, one bag left behind in said train. After proper verification & acknowledgment the same recovered bag containing cloths was handed over to her daughter namely Anita Misrafor. Valued Rs. 1,500/-.

11.04.21 Injury of one male person. On 11.04.2021 at about 20:20 hrs. a memo received from SM/Panagarh regarding one male person aged about 40 yrs. laying in Up line-1 (M/L) at Km No. 154/17-19 in sense but his right hand cut down. After received such information on duty officer and staff of RPF Post/Panagarh attended the P.O and found on duty RPF staff also present there. Injured person immediately sent to Health unit/Panagarh with the help of on duty staff and porter, where first aid provided to him by ADMO/ER/Panagarh. Further the injured person referred to Sub-Divisional Hospital, Durgapur for better treatment through Ambulance of HU/Panagarh. On duty officer of Panagarh also rushed to Durgapur and on duty GRPS Durgapur with staff was also present there. Injured person admitted in Male Surgical ward and undergone the treatment of Dr. Akhtar Hussain. Later on his mother and brother also arrived at the hospital. After treatment of on duty Dr. Durgapur, the injured person has been referred to SSKM Hand Surgery department, Kolkata for better treatment under the guidance of his brother and his relatives through Ambulance. During preliminary enquiry it could be learnt that injured person was attempt to boarding in Train No. 02341 Up after scheduled departure from Panagarh, unfortunately lost his balance and fallen down in between the gap of platform and train. Resulting which his right hand amputated from shoulder. The injured person identified as Dipak Kumar Rabidas, Male-32 S/o Late Shib Dutta Rabidas of Netaji Subhas Pally Road, Bipin Chandra Road, Durgapur. (W.B.) In this connection SM/PAN issued a memo to on duty ADMO/ER/PAN and GRPS/Durgapur.

12.04.21 Recovery of one left behind bag. On 12.04.2021 a passenger namely Abhishek kumar Singh, Male (32 years), R/O- Vill + Post- Kendurar, PS- Amarpur, Dist- Banka, (Bihar) de-boarded at Jasidih Railway station from Train No. 63569 (Asansol-JhajhaMemu) and by the time he noticed that his Black colored Baack pack had been left behind on his berth but the train had already left Jasidih Railway station. He immediately informed to on duty RPF staff and subsequently the staff concerned came on prompt action and informed the matter to on duty joint seal checking staff of RPF Post/Jasidih at Jhajha Rly station. Accordingly, on duty staff of RPF attended the train and succeed in finding the left behind said black colored Back pack and was brought to RPF Post/Jasidih where the owner of the said bag well identified. Further, the recovered bag was handed over to its actual owner on proper documentation and acknowledgement.

13.04.21 Recovery of one spectacle with its box. On 13.04.2021 received a message through Security Helpline-139, regarding left behind of one spectacle with its box, while on duty officers and staff of RPF Post/Dumka were engaged in checking the Train No. 08619 Dn (RNC-DUMK Exp. Spl.) at Dumka Railway station which arrived on PF No. 02 at about 07:10 hrs. During checking they find one one spectacle with its box (Value Rs. 6,000/-) in Coach No. SE- 058201/C (S-3, birth No-08) and brought to RPF Post/Dumka. On 15.04.2021 one relative of owner of the said spectacle with its box namely Anil Kumar Deo having Mobile No. 9771423979 came to the RPF Post/Dumka and claimed for same. On being asked he stated that the owner was travelling in Train No. 08619 Dn (RNC-DUMK Exp.), Ex:- Ranchi to JSME having PNR No. 6811997184 during de boarding by mistake he left behind his said spectacle with its box in Coach No. SE- 058201/C. He disclose his name and address as Piyush Gupta, S/O:- Vinod Gupta, (22 yer.) of Vill- 14, S.S.M. Jalan Road, Bajala Chowk, J.K Academy, Deoghar, Pin No. 814112, Jharkhand, having Mobile No. 9931097609. After proper verification and acknowledgment, the said spectacle handed over to him in well condition. The owner stated the approximate value of the Goggles with its box is Rs. 6,000/.

13/14.0 Arrest of 01 nos. notorious drug Criminal. 4.21 In the night 13/14.04.2021 during joint raid by the Officer & staff of STF, Asansol and CIB/Asansol, CIB/Howrah, CPDS/Howrah, 01 notorious criminals has arrested for attempt to victimize two passenger of train no. 03029 Up (HWH-MOKAMA Special passenger) for making unconscious to facilitate stolen of passenger’s valuable property using ATIVAN-2mg sedative drug mixed water. During search (1) one water bottle content with about 700 ml suspected sedative drug mixed water (2) one backpack containing 30 nos of ATVAN-2 mg Tablet, one old NOKIA Mobile Phone & two small empty strips of 10 nos of ATIVAN-2mg tab each, one Thumsup Cold drinks bottle suspected to have been mixed with sedative drug and (3) Two small paper made Puria containing 5 nos. pink color round shaped tablet suspected to be ATIVAN-2 mg have been recovered & seized. Basis on complaint lodged by IPF/D Dey of STF, Asansol a case vide no. 06/2021 dated 14.04.2021 u/s 328, 511 IPC & 145, 146, 147 Railway Act has been registered at Andal GRPS.

13/14.0 Arrest of 05 nos. notorious Criminals. 4.21 In the night 13/14.04.2021 during joint raid by Officer & staff of STF, Asansol and Jhingri Mohalla P.P, Asansol at Sitla Ground besides Reliance Market and 05 notorious criminals were arrested with (1) One country made Arms loaded with 8 mm live ammunition with one extra live ammunition (2) One 24 inch iron rod (3) One 10 inch bhojali (4) One 12 inch knife and (5) one 42 inch approx iron shabbal. Intelligence output shared by STF team, Asansol regarding assembling of some renowned criminals for preparation of Dacoity within Railway colony area accordingly on 14.04.2021 a joint team was formed with Asansol North P.S & RPF STF, Asansol basis on Police assistance memo issued by Asansol North P.S to IC/STF, Asansol. During interrogation, they disclosed regarding assembling for preparation of committing dacoity in any convenient places either in big commercial area or in Railway colony area. They have also disclosed that they have regularly stolen Mobile Phone, Money Purse etc from Railway passenger in between Burdwan & Asansol but this time they have targeted to have earned a big amount by committing dacoity. Accordingly, all recovered weapons were seized under seizure list on the spot. In this connection, a case vide No. 110/21, dated- 14.04.2021 U/S- 399, 402 IPC and 25(1)(a) Arms Act has been registered at Asansol North PS against the arrested persons. All the arrested person were forwarded to Ld Court on 14.04.2021. During interrogation all of arrested offenders disclosed that, they have regularly stolen Mobile Phone, Money Purse etc from Railway passenger in between Burdwan & Asansol. They also disclosed that they were also involved in several crime cases under GRPS Asansol and North PS. And other Police stations. All the arrested person have been forwarded to LD Court on 14.04.2021.

14.04.21 Rescue of one minor girl. On 14.04.2021 at about 16:50 hrs. during round by officers and staff of RPF Post/Jasidih noticed that a minor girl was roaming aimlessly on platform No. 01 of Jasidih Rly station. On being interrogated she disclosed her name and address as Priti Kumari (Female) aged about 14 yrs, D/O- Vinod Ram a resident of Chandravanshi Tola Sikandra, Sikandra, Jamui, Bihar, 811315 and stated that she was going to Kolkata with her father in Train No. 03030 (Howrah Eid-Ul-FitraSpl. ), when her father was sleeping she got down from the train for drinking water and left behind at Jasidih Rly station. Subsequently, they brought the rescued girl at RPF Post/Jasidih and fortunately she knew her father’s mobile number and by this her father was informed over mobile phone about his child by RPF Post/Jasidih. Thereafter he came to RPF Post/Jasidih from Madhupur and the minor girl was handed over to him on proper documentation and proper acknowledgement.

15.04.21 Recovery of one left behind pithu bag (one laptop with charger). On 15.04.21 a message was received that a passenger namely Rohan Sharma who was travelling in B-4 compartment, Berth No. 48 of train No. 02304 Dn(Poorva Exp. Spl.) having PNR No. 2547834322 from NDLS- to ASN. During de-boarding at Asansol Railway Station unfortunately his Pithu bag containing one laptop with charger was left behind on his berth. In this regard officer and staff of RPF Post/Durgapur attended the said coach of said train on arrival at Durgapur PF No. 04 at 14:06 hrs and recovered the left behind pithu bag. At about 15:45 hrs the actual owner of said pithu bag attended at RPF Post/Durgapur as such the recovered pithu bag containing laptop with charger were handed over to him after due verification under proper documentation. Total value of the Bag containing Laptop and charger assessed as approx Rs 26,000/-.

15.04.21 Rescue of one minor boy On 15.04.2021 at about 20:15 hrs a lady named Jamila Bibi appeared at RPF Post/Jasidih and reported that she was coming from Asansol with her minor boy by Asansol - JhajhaMemu train. When the said train arrived at Jasidih Railway station at about 19:55 hrs she de-boarded but her son remained in the said train. After train started, she noticed that her child did not get down. Accordingly, she attended at RPF Post/Jasidih and informed her matter. This matter was informed to on duty staff of RPF Post/Jasidih and being searched the said child was found in running train in between Lahabon – Simultala and brought to RPF/Post/Jasidih by on duty staff. Thereafter the minor boy namely Hasan, Male ( 9yrs ), S/O- Biru Kumar a resident of Deoghar, Barmasia, Distt- Deoghar (JH) was handed over to his parents Biru Kumar (father of above minor child) under proper documentation and acknowledgement as father of the said minor boy was also attended at RPF/Post/Jasidih.

16.04.21 Recovery of foreign liquor. On 16.04.2021 at about 22:30 hrs. Party in-charge of train escort party of train No. 03185 Up (Gangasar Exp Spl.) of RPF Resv./SDAH came at the RPF West Post/Asansol and handed over 76 bottles wine and bear, different in size and brand ( IB-750 ML-27 nos., IB-350 ML-17 nos., Beer kingfisher 500 ml-24 nos., Bangla (Jay Brand) 600ML-04 nos., Mc. Dwell’s 350 ml-01 Nos., Mc. Dwell’s 750 ml-03 Nos.) Total Valued Rs. 31,450/which was seized by him as unclaimed from coach No. S-3 of train No. 03185 Up (Gangasar Exp Spl.). Accordingly, officer of RPF Post/Asansol(W) took charge of above wine & bear and prepared a Production Seizure at RPF Post/Asansol(W) in presence of available witness for further disposal. Further report will follow.

19/20.0 Arrest of one criminal. 4.21 On 19-20.04.2021 on the basis of source information a raid was conducted by officers and staff of RPF Post/Sitarampur& GRPS/Asansol at Kalka end of Sitarampur Rly station PF No. 03 and arrested one person namely Bikash Chowhan aged about 23 yrs. s/o GanesChowhan a resident of Lakhisarai, Sansar Pokhar, P.S- Lakhisarai, Dist- Lakhisarai (Bihar). Further the arrested person took in to the custody by GRPS/Asansol for the further investigation. After interrogation of the above arrested person, investigation officer of GRPS/Asansol tagged the arrested person with GRPS/Asansol, case No. 12/2020 dtd. 26.02.2020 u/s 399/402 IPC. Subsequently the arrested person produced before Hon’ble Ld. CJM/Asansol on 20.04.2021 for further action.

20.04.21 Rescue of two ladies On 20.04.2021 on duty RPF staff of Asansol (W) detained two ladies on the ground of suspicion who were travelling by Train No. 02332 Dn (Himgiri Exp. Spl.). On being asked they gave out their name and identity as 1. Niru Kumari aged 23 yrs d/o Sri Suresh Yadav and 2. Baby Kumari aged 20 yrs D/O Bishnu Prasad Yadav both of Siyatand P.O DeopurGhaghi, JasidihDeoghar, Jharkhand 814142 but failed to give any satisfactory reason for travelling in the train. They further informed that they fled away from their hostel at Deoghar and proceeding Kolkata to meet their friends. The detained ladies were brought to RPF Post/Asansol(W). Accordingly, the matter was informed to their parents. At about 18:40 hrs their parents/guardians attended at RPF Post/Asansol(W) and both the ladies were handed over to them after proper verification and under acknowledgement.

22.04.21 Arrest of 01 nos. notorious Criminal On 29.12.2020, one Sri Randhir Kr Jha of Darbhanga, passenger of 18420 Dn, S-8, 79, lodged complaint at GRPS, Cuttack regarding theft of mobile phone at Asansol station while journey in train. Later, the case has been transferred through SRP, Howrah and got registered at Asansol GRPS vide no. 63/2020 dated 29.12.20 u/s 379 IPC. Accordingly, acting on source information on 22.04.2021, one proclaimed TOPB criminal namely ShahbuddinKhan@Chottu, M-32 of Kulti has been arrested during a joint raid conducted by Officer and staff of STF, Asansol and GRPS, Asansol with recovery of one mobile phone MI-5 PRO, having similar IMEI number of stolen mobile, valued Rs. 13000/-(app.). During interrogation, the arrested accused confessed to be involved in many crimes of mobile theft within Asansol- Barakar/CRJ Rly. sections not only that the arrested person is active mobile snatchure under Kulti PS area. On 23.04.21, the arrested person will be forwarded to Ld. Court with prayer for adding section 411 IPC with the case reference. Further progress report will follow, please.

23.04.21 Rescue of one minor girl. On 23.04.2021, at about 20.25hrs while officers and staff of RPF Post/Jasidih conducted round over Jasidih Railway station area, they noticed that 01 minor girl child was roaming aimlessly at PF No. 02 near FOB Kalka End of Jasidih Rly station. On being interrogated she disclosed her name and address as Pinki Kumari, Female- 8 yrs, D/O- Ramayan a resident of Vill- Nayagawn. On further interrogation, she could not disclose her home address properly and further revealed that she has run away from her home without any intimation to her family members due to afraid of her father. Further, she was brought to RPF Post/Jasidih and after taking all identification the matter was informed to child line Deoghar over mobile phone. After sometimes two representative of child line Deoghar appeared at RPF Post/Jasidih and the said child was handed over to team members Ankita Kumari and Ranjeet Kumar of child line Deoghar under proper acknowledgement.

25.04.21 Arrest of one absconder Criminal On 25.04.21, intelligence output shared by STF/RPF team, Asansol to IO/GRPS/Asansol regarding presence of one absconder accused near south side ticket counter of Asansol Railway station. Accordingly, a raiding team was comprised by STF/RPF/ASN and GRPS/Asansol and conducted raid at the above- mentioned place and able to arrest the absconder accused as pointed out as well as identified by the informer. On interrogation the above arrested person disclosed his identity as Md. Asif @ Pappu M- (28 yrs) S/O-Md. Arsad of Babu Talao near A.K. Azad School PS- Asansol North, Dist- Paschim Bardhaman, West Bengal. On further interrogation he also confessed his guilt that on the date of occurrence (03.03.21) he along with his other associates assembled on open ground near Kalka end of PF no-7 of Asansol Railway Station to commit dacoity in any UP bound train with deadly weapons and during raid on that day he could able to flee away took advantage of darkness and isolated place. As such the arrested person was forwarded to LD Court on 25.04.2021 in connection with GRPS/Asansol case no- 11/2021 dt- 03.04.2021 U/S- 399/402 IPC and 25(1)(a) Arms Act. During interrogation the offender disclosed that he regularly committed crime with passengers in running trains and down train stopped on outer signal by snatching the mobile and ladies purse etc. He also disclosed that he was also involved in several crime cases under GRPS Asansol and North PS like Asansol GRPS.

26.04.21 Rescue of two minor children. On 26.04.21, on getting information from passengers of Train No. 03029 Up (Howrah- Mokama special) while arrived at Chittaranjan PF No. 03 at 04:41 hrs and left at 04:43 hrs. regarding 02 minor children boy and girl were boarded in the said train and their parents could not be boarded at Sitarampur Railway station. As such HC/10365/Rajnish Kumar of RPF Post/Jamtara who were returning from the said train after completion of their TE duty and he rescued both children from train and handed over to on duty RPF/Chittaranjan. Subsequently, officer of RPF/Chittaranjan informed the matter to their parents. Accordingly, both rescued children namely Anikesh Kr. Mahato (M-6 years) & (Ritika Kumari (F-04 years) were handed over to their parents namely Ashok Kumar Mahato residing of BejdihSundrachak, P.S- Niyamatour, Dist-Burdwan, WB after proper identification and documentation at about 08.30 hrs.

26.04.21 Recovery of one left behind bag. On 26.04.2021, at about 21:10 hrs. on duty officer of Out Post/Chittaranjan has informed to on duty RPF Camping staff of Vidyasagar about left behind of one black colour bag in Train No .03021 Up (Mithila Exp. Spl.) of one male person namely Surajlal (M-22) s/o Sri Shiv Sambhu Lal residence of Vill- Bagbera, PS- Bagbera, Dist-East Singhbhum, Jharkhand while he was de-boarded from GS coach of the said train at Chittaranjan Rly station on arrival at about 20:58 hrs. Accordingly, on duty staff of Vidyasagar attended the said train on arrival at Vidyasagar Rly station at 21:28 hrs and recovered the said black colour bag from the said train. The same was brought to RPF Post/Jamtara for further disposal. Subsequently the matter was informed to the actual owner. Owner of the bag attended at RPF Post/Jamtara and found Total Value of the said bag is Rs.18,000/- containing 01 vivo mobile valued Rs.16,000/- and cash Rs. 2,000/- Total Rs. 18,000/-.He also informed that he is a railway employee working under SSE/P.Way/Adra/SER. The recovered bag was handed over to the actual owner with proper verification and documentation.

29.04.21 Rescue of woman with baby. On 29.04.21, at about 20:15 hrs. an information shared by Inspector Local PS/Bengabad regarding fled away of a woman from home at Madhupur station area with photograph. Hence, acting on this, on duty officer and staff able to trace out the said women with a baby on her arms and also a man with her from Madhupur- Giridih passenger train placed on PF No. 01 of Madhupur Rly station at about 20:40 hrs. Accordingly, matter informed to Inspector Bengabad P.S. On being asked the rescued women disclosed her identity as Neha Kumari, age 19 yrs. D/O Shri Ram Sharan Mishra a resident of Vill- Jhariya Gadi, P.S--BengabadDist-Giridih, Jharkhand. Later on, SI of Bengabad P.S with police personnel came to RPF Post/Madhupur and the rescued women with the said person were handed over to SI Bengabad P.S for further course of action.

02.05.21 Recovery of one bag. On 02.05.2021 on getting information by RPF Post/Jasidih regarding 01 black colourpitthu bag containing 01 lenevo laptop and valuable documents left in coach no B-1, berth no 53 of train No. 02268 (Duranto Express). When the said train arrived at Asansol Rly station, officer and staff of RPF Post/Asansol(W) attended to said train. On being searched and checked they recovered the bag from pantry car staff of said train. The bag was brought to RPF Post/Asansol(W) for further disposal and informed bag owner Amresh Kr. Mob No 8340276410. At about 13:00 hrs bag owner came to RPF Post/Asansol(W) and demanded his bag. After proper interrogation and verification, said bag was handed over to bag owner with good condition. The said bag valued approx.. Rs. 50,000/-.

03.05.21 Recovery of one Trolley Bag: On 03.05.2021, a Trolley Bag was recovered by on duty staff of RPF Post Suiri from Train no. 63530 Dn at PF no. 02 of Siuri Railway Station which was left behind at Rampurhat by one bonafide passenger namely Sri Deepak Kumar Lath. The Trolley bag was containing one electric kettle along with some clothing’s valued Rs. 10,000/-. The owner of bag was contacted who attended the RPF Post Suiri and the bag was handed over to him under proper verification and acknowledgement in all correct condition.

04.05.21 Rescue of one boy. On 04.05.2021 at about 08:35 hrs on duty officer of RPF Post/Asansol(W) during round at Asansol Rly station and noticed one boy aged about 17 yrs was loitering aimlessly at PF no.03 of Asansol Rly station. On suspicion he was detained and on being asked he disclosed his name and identity as Rohit Kumar, S/O Nagendra Kumar of Vill- Majhiyana, Gaya, Bihar-824118 and also informed that he fled away from his residence in the night of 03.05.2021 as his mother scolded him. The boy was brough to RPF Post ASN (W). His father was informed over phone when he requested to detain the boy. Subsequently on 04.05.2021 his father attended RPF Post ASN (W) at 21:00 hrs. and the boy was handed over to him after proper verification and under acknowledgement.

04.05.21 Recovery of one left behind bag. On 04.05.2021 a passenger named as Sudhir Rawat, Male (50 years), S/O- Shital Rawat, Vill+Post- Pathakchak, Thana- Sikandra, Maricha, Jamui (Bihar) having PNR No. 2648269497, Jaipur to Jhajha, Coach No. D-2, Berth No. 17 de-boarded at Jhajha Railway station from train No. 02316 Dn (Ananya SF Spl.) and by the time he found that his black colour bag containing cloth (Total value Rs. 1,000/-) had been left on his berth. But the train had already left Jhajha Railway station. He immediately informed to SCNL/Asansol by the rail help line No- 139. SCNL/Asansol informed to RPF Post/Jasidih over the telephone. When the said train arrived at Jasidih Rly station, on duty officers and staff of RPF Post/Jasidih attended the said coach and succeeded in finding left behind black coloured bag. Subsequently the recovered bag was brought to RPF Post/Jasidih. On 05.05.2021, the actual owner namely Sudhir Rawat appeared at RPF Post/Jasidih and handed over to him with proper documentation and acknowledgement.

05.05.21 Recovery of smart watch. RPF Post/Durgapur informed that in connection with left behind smart watch in train No. 02312 (Kalka – Howrah Spl.) in A-3 coach berth No. 45 (PNR-2118668760) dated 03.05.2021 as reported by the passenger namely Jitu Vishwakarma through rail madad, on 05.05.21 owner of the said watch attended RPF Post/Durgapur and disclosed his identity as Jitu Vishwakarma, S/o Ashok Vishwkarma, R/o station para, Bhawara, Domahani Bazar, Barabani, W.B and identified his left behind smart watch which was recovered by RPF Post/Durgapur. He stated that on 03.05.2021, he mistakenly left behind said watch during his journey and de-boared at Asansol Rly station. Subsequently, the said watch with charger has been returned over to his actual owner under proper documentation and verification. Valued of said watch ascertained Rs. 700/-.

08.05.21 Rescue of two children. On 08.05.2021, ASI/D. N. Arya of RPF/POST/JSME now at RPF/OP/STL for supervision duty reported that one minor girl namely Karina Kumari, Female, Age- 14 years, D/O- Dhaneshwar Paswan of Vill+PO- Arma, PS- Kajra, Dist- Lakhisarai (Bihar), appeared at RPF/Barrack/Simultala at 15:45 hrs and reported that she was travelling in train No. 03266 DN (Patna – Jasidih) passenger with her boy friend Ex. Kiul to Jasidih. During her journey when she was hugging his boy friend namely Niwas Kumar, Male, Age- 17 years, S/O- Sri Shyamali Mandal of vill+PO- Arma, PS- Kajra, Dist- Lakhisarai (Bihar), one RPF staff who was in civil dress saw them and started to abuse them. He used filthy language against her boy friend and slapped him resulting which he got into fear and jumped from the running train at Km. No. 349/12 near LC Gate No. 36/BT in between STL and JAJ Railway station. Accordingly, ASI/D. N. Arya a/w staff immediately rushed to the P.O. and noticed that one injured minor boy was laying outside the Railway track with bleeding injury on his head. On being asked from the villagers, present near injured minor boy, it was revealed that said boy jumped from the running train and was laying on track. The injured boy was removed by villagers from the Railway track and subsequently, brought to RPF/Barrack/OP/STL where first aid was rendered. Also the matter was informed to their parents as well as Local PS/STL, GRPS/JAJ and Local PS Kajra over mobile phone. On duty SM/STL was asked to issue the memo for medical treatment but the same was not issued. On being asked from the minor girl and injured minor boy, they identified the CT/Dhirendra Kumar of RPF/OP/STL and revealed that CT/Dhirendra Kumar had misbehaved and slapped the minor boy. Later, IPF/JSME a/w other officer and staff attended RPF/OP/Simultala. Subsequently, the injured minor boy was brought to Sadar Hospital, Deoghar for better treatment. After being released by the concerned doctor the injured minor boy was brought to RPF/POST/JSME Later, guardian of both minor children appeared at RPF/POST/JSME. Their parents revealed that both minors have fled away from their home without any intimation. Thereafter, both minor children were handed over to their respective parents on proper verification and documentation in presence of Chowkidar/516- Rajaram Paswan of Local PS- Kajra, Dist- Lakhisarai, (Bihar).

10.05.21 Rescue of one minor boy. On 10.05.2021, at about 18:50 hrson duty officers and staff of RPF Post/Jasidih during round at Jasidih Rly station, they noticed that one minor boy was roaming at new foot over bridge on PF No. 02/03 of Jasidih Rly station aimlessly without any adult person. On being interrogated the said minor boy told his name and address as Arun Kumar, Male (12 years), S/O- Sri Puran Das a resident of Vill+PO- Katoria Bazar, Thana- Katoria, Distt.- Banka (Bihar) and also revealed that he had fled away from his home without any intimation due to some family discord and now want to go to his father at Lucknow by train. The said rescued minor boy brought to RPF Post/Jasidih. Accordingly, the matter was intimated to Child line, Deoghar. Later Ranjit Kumar, Co-coordinator of child line, Deoghar appeared at RPF Post/Jasidih and said rescued minor boy handed over to him under proper identification and documentation.

11.05.21 Rescue of one minor girl. On 11.05.2021, at about 18:30 hrs in course of Goods Shed/Both track side/SSP duty and Seal Checking duty at goods shed and Jasidih PF No. 01 by on duty staff of RPF Post/Jasidih, they noticed that one minor girl was roaming at PF. No. 01 of Jasidih Rly station aimlessly without any adult person. They rescued the said minor girl and brought to RPF Post/Jasidih. On being interrogated the said minor girl told her name and address as Kajal Kumari, Female (14 years), S/O- Sri Jogendra Yadav, R/O- Dalton Ganj Post- Suga, PS- Palamau, Jharkhand and also revealed that she had fled away from her home without any intimation due to some family discord and now she want to meet her friend at Dalton Ganj from Jasidihby train. This matter was intimated to her grandfather and he appeared at RPF Post/Jasidih. The said rescued minor girl was handed over to her grandfather under proper identification and documentation.

11.05.21 Recovery of foreign liquor On 11.05.21, at about 14:50 hrs. during surprise check and round by officers and staff of RPF Post/Madhupur at Madhupur Platform No. 2, while Train No. 06218 Up Exp standing at platform No. 2, which arrived at about 14:50 hrs. During such round they noticed that one Black and Red colourpithu bag was lying as unclaimed at platform No. 2 at Kalka end side. On several called and attempts nobody came forward to claim as owner of the bag. Train No. 06218 started at about 15:05 hrs. On checking the bag found that 10 no's of "Blenders Pride" whisky each 750 ml, value Rs-1,050/- each gross value Rs-10,500/- and 02 no's of "Bacardi Rum" each 275 ml, value Rs-100/- each gross value Rs- 200/- (Total value Rs 10,700/-), were kept inside the bag. After observing all legal formalities, 12 no's of liquor with bag seized at the spot in presence of available witnesses. Several persons were called for independent witness but nobody came forward for that. After observing legal formalities, seized material brought at RPF Post/Madhupur for further legal action and disposal the same.

13.05.21 Rescue of one boy. On 13.05.2021 getting information from one namely Dr. BiruRajak regarding fleeing away of one boy aged 17 years, officers and staff of RPF Post/Asansol (W) checked the coach No. S-8 of train No. 03510 (Asansol Weekly Spl.) which arrived at PF No. 2 of Asansol Rly station at 11:14 hrs. and found the boy was sitting on berth No. 24 of said coach. He was detrained from said coach and brought to RPF Post/Asansol (W). On being asked he disclosed his identity asAstiva Srivastava, male/17 yrs S/O Sri Manoj Kumar of KunjgaliMeeranpur, Akbarpur, P.S. Ambedkarnagar, UP- 224122. His father, Sri Manoj Kumar was contacted over phone when he requested to hand over his boy to Dr BiruRajak as he will be late to reach Asansol. As such the boy was handed over to Dr. BiruRajak under proper acknowledgement

13.05.21 Recovery of one mobile phone. On 13.05.2021, information was received regarding, One person namely Aftab Ansari, Male (20 years), S/O- Abbas Miyan, R/O- Vill- Thari, PO- Manigadi, PS- Sarwan, Dahua, Deoghar, Jharkhand was travelling Ex- SC to MDP by train No. 07007 Up (Secunderabad – Darbhanga Spl.). During de-boarding at Madhupur Rly station, he left behind his mobile phone valued Rs.9,500/- in coach No. S-7, seat No. 29. Thereafter, he informed the matter to RPF Post/Madhupur. Subsequently, on duty RPF staff of Madhupur passed on the information to RPF Post/Jasidih over mobile phone. When the said train arrived at Jasidih Rly station, officers and staff of RPF Post/Jasidih immediately attended the said train at PF No. 02 and could able to recover mobile phone and brought to RPF Post/Jasidih for safe custody. Further the owner of the mobile phone was appeared at RPF Post/Jasidih. The said recovered mobile was handed over to owner under proper documentation and acknowledgement.

18.05.21 Rescue of Two minor girls i. On 18:05:2021 at about 07:25 hrs, in course of round, SI/SubhraDey along with LC/Pooja Patel of West Post /ASN noticed two girls aged about 15 and 17 years were moving near main gate of ASN station in suspicious manner and on being asked they first tried to avoid but on further interrogation they disclosed their name and identity as 1.Saraswati Kumari D/O Subash Ravidas of Tiketbandh, P.O. Karon, DindakuliDeoghar ,Karogram, Jharkhand-815357, 2.Urmila Kumari D/O JaydevRavidas of Vill- Manjhladih , P.O. Dewalbari, Navadih , Narayananpur , Jamtara, Jharkhand -815352 and confessed that they fled from their house and were trying to go to NDLS for acting. They were detained and brought to RPF /West Post/ASN. Their parents were informed over phone when they informed that both are missing from 17.05.2021 and in this connection missing report has been lodged with Karon PS on 18.05.2021. They informed to detain the two girls till they arrive. Subsequently on duty officer of Karon PS also called and after taking details of the detention requested to hand over the girls to their parents. Subsequently at 14:10 hrs, Sri Mukesh Ravidas, brother of Urmila Kumari and Sri Subash Ravidas, father of Saraswati Kumari attended RPF West Post and as per request of the parents the girls, the detained girls were handed over to them after proper verification and under acknowledgement.

19.05.21 Recovery of one left behind bag. On 19.05.2021 a message was received from C&W/CNL/ASN that one person was travelling by train no. 02322 Dn vide PNR o. 843794500 Ex-CSTM-DHN in coach no. HA-1(14) when he was deboarded from the said train left behind one black colour bag. Accordingly, on arrival of said train at about 07:19 hrs. at BRR Railway Station. On duty officer and staff attended the said coach and found the same. Further, the matter was informed to actual owner namely Laxmikant Prasad, S/O Sheojore Ram, Uma Apartment, Flat no. B1, Kola Kushma more near Singh Mansion, Saraidhela, Post Saraidhelaa, Phuphudi, Dhanbad (JH), who attended the RPF Post BRR and the bag was handed over to him after verification and acknowledgement. The bag was containing one Laptop, 02 pendrives, Hard disc total worth Rs. 45,000/-.

19.05.21 On 19.05.2021, on getting information from Commercial Control/ASN regarding laying of one boy inside Local Trai no. 03554, arrived on PF no. 05 of Asansol Railway Station at about 20:41 hrs. On arrival of the train officers and staff of ASN (W) Post attended the train and started searching the unconscious boy. After a while they noticed that inside the 3rd coach from Engine side one person was lying on the seat. The officers and staff tried to awake him and sprinkled some water on him. Then the boy woke up and he was detrained from the train. On being asked he did not disclosed his identity and kept mum. On search one card was found from his possession when a mobile phone number 8003002660 was found. The officers and staff contactd over said mobile number where the father of the boy picked up the phone and informed that his boy was of unsound mind and fled away from home i.e. Rajasthan. On being further interrogation his father disclosed the identity of the boy namely Mozin Khan of Karni Marg Surendra dental College Sriganganagar (Rajasthan) and also stated that he informd to police and diarized missing report. Later the Sriganganagar Police was contacted over mobile no. 9887951406, when on duty ASI/Kanwar Pal Singh provided confirmation and sent the copy over WhatsApp and requested to keep the boy at Asansol RPF West Post. The boy was handed over to child line for further action.

20.05.21 On 20.05.2021 during Bandobast duty, one RPF Lady personnel of West Post ASN noticed that one girl was sitting idle on PF/No. 2 near food plaza of Asansol Railway station. Immediately she informed the matter to Duty Officer. Accordingly, the officers and staff of ASN (W) Post attended and the girl was detained and brought to the RPF Post. On interrogation she disclosed her identity as Kajal Kanaujiya, Female - 14 yrs. D/O - PappuKanaujiya of Vill- Ambarpur, PS- Gambhirpur, Dist- Aazamgarh (UP). On further interrogation the girl disclosed that she had fled away from her home after being scolded by her father. After observing all legal formalities, the girl was handed over to The Railway Child line Asansol, Paschim Bardhman, WB for further disposal under proper acknowledgement.

21.05.21 Apprehension of 03 Cyber Fraud Criminals On 21.05.2021 at about 17.00 hrs. basis on reliable Source information an ambush was conducted by STF, Asansol near Asansol SBI ATM center & Railway Ticket Booking Center, situated on the South side of Asansol Station area. During such ambush watch, at about 17.10 hrs. three persons were found suspiciously assembled near Asansol SBI ATM counter, beside of Railway Reservation counter. As per indication by source and based on technical support of Cyber Crime P.S and DD, ADPC, Asansol, the raiding team started keeping close eye on them when detected that they have possessed a numbers of ATM cards in their Pockets and exchanging with each other, even one of them entered in SBI ATM counter with some ATM cards when other two remained at the outside of the ATM counter. On suspicion, the raiding team surrounded them and detained beside the SBI ATM counter. On being asked they identified themselves as (1) Md Furkan Ansari Male- 25 S/O Md Mustaf Mia of Vill- Birengaria, P.S- Koro Dist.- Deoghar, Mob: 6205505498 (2) Md Faizan Ansari @ Md Afroz, Male- 22 S/O Md Dawood Ansari of Vill- Koro P.S- Margo Munda Distt.- Deoghar Mob: 9339264060 and (3) Md Nadeem Ansari @ Chandan M-22 Yrs S/O Md Safique Ansari of Vill- Koro P.S- Margo Munda Distt.- Deoghar Mob: 7908624300 but failed to explain their lawful possession of huge number of PAYTM RuPay Debit cards and its use by them jointly. During cross examination by the raiding team, all three detained person have confessed that they are members of Cyber Fraud Gang of Jharkhand, Margo Munda area and arrived Asansol for withdrawal of fraudulantly on-line bank transacted amount through some PAYTM RuPay Debit card. It is also confessed that on 20.05.2021, they have withdrawn over 5.0 to 6.0 Lakhs using Fake PAYTM RuPay Debit cards along with his other associates namely Mondal Raja S/O Bhikhu Mondal, Mob: 7679835388 who left Asansol on 20.05.2021 with some stolen money & 8 nos of PAYTM RuPay Debit card, even today they have tried to withdraw more amount from Bank of ATM centers of Hutton Road & Court Road but due to unsuccessfull crime of cyber fraud transaction in their ATM card by the other Gang members from Madhupur an amount of Cash Rs. 9000/- only withdrawn from ATM card no. 6080 3206 2779 3362 of Meera Devi. Considering their confessional statement, a thorough search were conducted when the following were recovered

(1) Total 10 nos of PAYTM RuPay Debit cards of verious name (2) ATM transaction Slips of ATM I.D-AAS8001 / I.D-IKD8036, (3) Total Cash Rs. 4.87 Lakhs from the Possession of aforesaid detained cyber criminals. 4) 3 nos of Mobile phones. (5) Other personal articles. Accordingly, considering their confession of Cyber Fraud Crime, all above recovered articles were seized under Seizure List in presence of Raiding Party & independent witness on the spot. Followed by issuing of arrest Memo. During interrogation all above person disclosed that their another associates Mondal Raja left Asansol with about more than 2.0 Lakhs Cash & 8 nos of PAYTM RuPay Debit card after distributing above amount amongst them as recovered from the Possession of subject mentioned person in custody. As per direction of other gang member they remain at Asansol in a rented house of Md Sajad Khan near BudhaMaszid under Asansol (South) for further withdrawal of further cheated amount till 21.05.2021. But due to failing in operating Cyber Fraud Crime on date no on-line fraudulent transaction could be made to their PAYTM cards. They also disclosed about their absconded associates as (1) Ali Hassan, Mob- 917941418 (2) Mondal Raja S/O Bhikhu Mondal, Mob: 7679835388. Thereafter all three person in custody brought to Asansol cyber crime PS where a case vide no. 10/21 dated 21.05.2021 u/s 419, 420, 467,468 and 120(B) IPC basis on complaint submitted by Rajesh Mondal, IPF, STF cum DIPS, Asansol.

22.05.21 Recovery of one left behind Cartoon.

On date 21.05.21 on duty staff const/ Mukesh Kumar detected one unclaimed cartoon near MDP stn main gate and he had been made several times announcement through PA system but nobody came forward to claim it. After that the said cartoon brought to the RPF/POST/MDP for further disposal. On date 22/05/21 one person came to MDP Post and disclosed his identity as Arslan Jauhar S/O Md. Kalam of Panahkola, P.S.-Madhupur, Distt.-Deoghar (JH) and stated that, on date 21.05.21 he came to MDP from ASN by T/no. 08183 up with 04 cartoon of mobile accessories for his shop but by mistekly one cartoon left behind near main gate during exit from railway station. He produced purchasing bill of items which kept in the said cartoon as Rs- 8070/- Accordingly, after proper verification and submitting a written application the recovered cartoon handed over to Arslan Jauhar. The cartoon containing mobile accessories. The owner appreciated the RPF for this prompt action.

Rescue of one minor boy:- On 22.05.2021 at about 06.30hrs one minor boy namely Raj kumarMahaldar S/o of DilipMahaldar aged about 16 years who was moving aimlessly near east cabin, Ukhra. By seeing this on duty RPF Staff Ct/ Rajesh Kumar of OP/UKA detained him. On being asked the boy disclosed that on 21.05.2021 he was left from his house to run away in anger from his family and also disclosed his identity as Raj kumarMahaldar s/o of DilipMahaldar of, Vill- Bhagwankothi ,PS-Kadwar, Dist. Katihar (Bihar). As such brought him to RPF/UKA(OP) for safe custody with covid- 19 protocol. Accordingly, informed to his father namely DilipMahaldar over mobile phone by ASI/ RPF/ Sri Jitendra Kumar. On receipt of the above information his father came to RPF/OP/Office/UKA on 23.05.2021. After verification the Adhar Card, the minor boy handed to his father under proper acknowledgement.

23.05.21 Recovery of 75 nos. of Country liquor. On dt 23.05.21 at about 13.45 hrs during surprise checking and round at PF no 2 IPF/MDP along with C/Nil D Singh and Con/Nil Mukesh Kumar of RPF/MDP/ POST at the time of standing of T/No 08183 up Exp at platform no 2 of MDP station which arrived at about 13.40 hrs. During such round they noticed that one Black red colourrexine bag is lying as unclaimed at platform no 2 near main gate of stn. Staff called several persons for claiming that but nobody came forward to claim it. T/no 08183 started at about 13.45 hrs. On checking the bag found 75 no's of country liquor ("50 no's of "Laila " marka and 25 no's of "Bhoukal" marka, all each 300 ml, value Rs-40/- each, gross value Rs- 3000/-). After observing all legal formalities 75 no's of liquor with bag seized at spot in presence of available witnesses. Several persons called for dependent witness but nobody came forward for that. After observing legal formalities seized meterial brought at RPF/Post for further legal action and disposal the same.

23.05.21 Apprehension of 06 notorious Criminals by RPF Special Task Force

On 23.05.2021, at about 23.45 hrs. received an intellegence regarding criminal activities at and arroundJansi Rani Ground near Loco Maszid. As such after verifying the information the team shared the same intelligence to In-Charge, Jahangiri Mohalla under OC/Asansol North. Later joint team has been formed with STF team, Asansol & Police personnel leaded by ASI/Jahangiri Mohalla P.P and arrived near Loco Masjid at 01.25 hrs. At the vicinity about 10-12 persons found assembled in an open field at Jhansi Rani Railway ground, near Loco Maszid and are gossiping among themselves in low voices. Then the team slowly and silently cordoned the assembled persons from all possible corners but smelling our presence they all started to flee away taking advantage of darkness. But due to prompt action by the Raiding Party all above mentioned 06 (Six) persons have detained after- a hot chase. On interrogation all the detained person have disclosed their identity as (1) Md. Khalik (26 Yrs) S/O- Elahi Box of OK Road, Near RCH Hospital, (2) Md. Jafir @ Pokori (28 Yrs) S/o- Md. Nausad @Prem of Railpar Babu Talab, Near-Purana Kabristan, (3) Md Guddu@PaniharGuddu (35 Yrs) ) S/O- Akbar Hussain of OK Road, Near Rajaigas Madrasa , (4) SkSaddam@Chuha@Pintu (25 Yrs) ) S/O- SkIsrafil Chand of Babutalab, Parwana Nagar , (5) Md Sajjad@Borka Raja (30 Yrs) ) S/O- Md Firoj of Makku Mahalla, Near Baitus Salam Masjid , (6) Saddam Ansari @ Nanka (20 Yrs) S/O- Lt. Imtiyaz Ansari of Babu Talab, Near Bara Nala all of under PS- Asansol North, Dist:-Paschim Bardhaman. During search (i) One Iron country made improvised pipe gun (ii) one round 8 MM live ammunition which was loaded into the seized articles noted in Sl No.(i) (iii) One 2 ft iron made sword (iv) One 14 inches Iron made dragger (v) One 12 inches Iron made knife (vi) One 10 inches Iron made bhojali (vii) One 12 inches plastic torch were recovered and seized on the spot between 02.05 Hrs to 03.05 Hrs.. During further interrogation, the above named accused persons confessed that they had assembled on the open field at Jhansi Rani Maidan, with a view to commit Dacoity at Loco Railway quarters and were discussing about their plans for pros & Cons of Crime and disposal. Then after observing all formalities, all 06 criminals were arrested after issuing inspection memo & arrest memo, as well as informed them about the ground of arrest.In this regard a case vide no. 136/2021 Dated 24.05.2021 U/S 399, 402 IPC & 25/27 Arms Act has been registered and forwarded to the Ld Court on 24.05.2021. 24.05.21 Rescue of one minor child On 24.05.2021 at about 11.00 hrs an information conveyed by RPF/POST/JSME that one minor boy left behind in S-3 coach of T/No. 02304 DnPoorva exp. spl. Acting on this duty staff Con/B K Mondal of this post attended the train on arrival of it on PF no. 04 at 12:13 hrs and could be able to rescue the said minor child from the S-3 coach with the help of escorting duty staff Con D Singh of the train and brought him to RPF Post Madhupur. Matter informed to JSME Post, and provided biscuit and water to the child. On being asked the boy disclosed his identity as Asif Ali Age 12 years, S/O Md.Taufik R/O- Prem nagar 1, Harsh Block, PS - Premnagar, Distt.- Rohini, North Delhi. He also stated that he was coming from Delhi to Jasidih with his maternal uncle but he couldn't able to detrained at JSME. After sometime his maternal uncle namely Arman Alam S/O Md. Aftab Alam of Sultanpur, Delhi appeared at RPF Post Madhupur and produced his journey ticket, Adhar Card and also gave a written application with details. The child handed over to them after proper verification and identification.

27.05.21 Recovery of one left behind Bag On 27.05.2021 getting information from SCNL/ASN regarding left behind of one black colour Bag at PF. 01 of JSME Rly station. After getting information on Duty Staff and officers came on prompt action and conduct search for the said bag on PF. No. 01 and succeed to find out the bag and brought out to JSME/Post. Later on 29.05.2021 the victimized passenger Bhagabati Singh (claimant of the bag ) appeared at RPF post/JSME and asked for the said bag. During interrogation she revealed that she had come to Station to go for HWH by T/No.02024 Dn. On arrival of said train she boarded and the bag had been left by mistakenly and she immediately informed the matter through Rail Madad-139. She identified her left behind bag black colour bag pack in correct condition containing all belonging. Further, said bag handed over to the above person after proper verification & documentation.

28.05.21 Recovery of one left behind Bag from train no 02333 UP On 28.05.2021 at about 23.00 hrs getting information from SCNL/ASN regarding left behind of one bag in train no 02333 UP, coach no B-2 seat no 39 and passenger detained at ASN Rly station. On receipt of such information on duty RPF personnel of CRJ/OP attended the train and recovered said black colour bag, containing 07 pieces of garments. Thereafter the owner of the bag namely Ankita singh D/O- ParbhunathSingh, R/O - Dhurup Dangal, Nehru Road, Distt- Burdwan, (W.B), who was travelling in said train from HWH to ASN having vide PNR no 6150737255 was informed and informed about the recovery of the bag. On 30.05.2021 the owner attended CRJ(OP) when the bag was handed over to her with all correct after proper identification and documentation. The value of the recovered item was Rs. 2500/-

31.05.21 Good work done by RPF staff (Saving life of old aged women) On 31.05.2021, at about 04.44 hrs, when train no. 03006 dn (Amritsar-Howrah exp) just started to move from Durgapur Railway station, an old woman was trying to board in said train by holding the door handle. Since the train was in motion she lost her balance and was about to go between the train and platform. As soon as on duty staff noticed they ran towards the lady and pulled her away from running train and saved her life. Due to prompt and appropriate action by both the Lady Constables leads to avert a serious accident and saved the life of said lady passenger. The good work has been lauded from various corners.

31.05.21 Rescue of one girl. On 31.05.2021 one girl namely Shamima Khatun F-23 yrs. W/O - Altaf Hussain of Raja Bazar near Sealdah Station Kolkata was rescued from Train No. 02313 Up (New Delhi AC Spl.). The said girl was detected on board checking by train captain of above train and further on duty train escorting in-charge was handed over the said girl with written complaint. In the complaint neither identity was quoted nor any memo was issued. On further interrogation any how officer of RPF Post/Asansol(W) got her identity and known that she was dumb. Due to night period only medical examination was done at Sr. DMO Hospital/Asansol. On that night she was kept at RPF Post/Asansol(W) with proper guarding. On 01.06.2021 after observing all legal formalities and medical examination as well as Covid test, the girl was handed over to The Superintendent, Swashakti Bhawan, Asansol, Paschim Bardhman, WB under proper acknowledgement.
