• Melbourne Metro is being assessed via an Environment Effects Statement (EES) under the Environment Effects Act 1978 • EES assesses a concept design and has adopted a performance-based approach – output is Environmental Performance Requirements • Environmental Management Framework (EMF) developed through the EES and contains the Environmental Performance Requirements (EPRs) • MMRA setting up an Environmental Management System (EMS) to track and monitor performance

DOMAIN: ROAD CHANGES DURING CONSTRUCTION

• Construction of Domain station will be staged to reduce impacts on the road and network • As a minimum, one tram track, one bike lane and one traffic lane in each direction will be provided along St Kilda Road during construction. • Domain Road, between St Kilda Road and Dallas Brooks Drive, will be temporarily closed to and traffic while the station is built. • Route 8 trams proposed to divert via Toorak Road West.
