PRO FOOTBALL HALL OF FAME TO HONOR MILITARY HEROES IN NOVEMBER FREE MUSEUM ADMISSION FOR ACTIVE MILITARY & VETERANS NOV. 1-11; ANNUAL VETERANS DAY EVENT AT HALL ON SATURDAY, NOV. 2

CANTON, OHIO – The Pro Football Hall of Fame aligned with the important mission to “Honor the Heroes of the Game, Preserve its History, Promote its Values and Celebrate Excellence EVERYWHERE,” will salute the military throughout the month of November.

FREE MUSEUM ADMISSION The Pro Football Hall of Fame will provide free museum admission and parking to all veterans and active military plus a guest from Nov. 1-11, 2019. This offer is good for all United States active duty including National Guard Reservists and retired military service members who show a valid military ID at the Hall’s Ticket Office.

Throughout the rest of November and every day at the Pro Football Hall of Fame, veterans and active military receive $5 off Museum admission and their spouses and dependents (under 18) receive $3 off. In addition, free parking will be provided for the month of November.

VETERANS DAY EVENT AT THE HALL ON SATURDAY, NOV. 2 The Hall of Fame’s annual Veterans Day Event takes place on Saturday, Nov. 2 at 11 a.m. This year’s program “Honoring Our Nation’s Heroes” will include special guest of honor and NFL Legend Donnie Edwards. Since retiring from the NFL, Edwards provides once-in-a-lifetime experiences to veterans at no cost to them through his organization The Best Defense Foundation. Recently, Edwards took several World War II veterans back to Normandy for the 75th Anniversary of D-Day.

In addition, several Medal of Honor Recipients will be on hand for the program.

Beginning at 10 a.m., a Veterans’ Services Expo will take place at the Hall. Vendors will be on hand to educate Veterans of the services available to them. Those vendors include VA Northeast Ohio Healthcare System, New Horizons Computer Learning Centers, The Patriot Project, and Stark County Veterans Service Commission.

Several promotions are available at the Hall on the day of the event including: • Blue Star Mothers and Gold Star Families receive free admission. • All who attend the event will receive a special commemorative pin and challenge coin, while supplies last. • Guests who attend the event will receive a voucher for 20% off in the Hall of Fame Store. • Visitors will also enjoy a display of military related artifacts in a special exhibit

HALL OF FAME STORE FEATURES 2019 SALUTE TO SERVICE COLLECTION The Pro Football Hall of Fame Store is selling several items from the 2019 Salute to Service collection, including knit hats, sideline hats, sideline legend performance long sleeve tees, and sideline therma pullover hoodies featuring a variety of NFL team logos. The NFL does not profit from the sale of Salute to Service products. Since 2011, the NFL has donated more than $34,000,000 to its military non-profit partners – including the Pat Tillman Foundation, TAPS, USO, Wounded Warrior Project and the Bob Woodruff Foundation – to fund programs and provide resources that positively impact veterans and active duty military members and their families.

The store also sells special pins featuring the Hall of Fame’s logo and the American flag. The Hall of Fame Store is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Guests wishing to just visit the Hall of Fame Store, do not need to pay Museum admission or parking.
