NEW YORK RANGERS PROSPECT REPORT: JAN. 13

1. Tyler Wall made 25 saves and earned a win on Jan. 10 against RIT. The Rangers’ sixth round pick (174th overall) in the 2016 NHL Entry Draft earned his 52nd career collegiate win, breaking Dwayne Roloson’s UMass-Lowell record for wins by a goaltender since the school began playing in Division 1. Wall has posted a 12-3-4 record, along with a 1.81 GAA, a .941 SV%, and 2 SO in 19 appearances with UMass-Lowell this season. Wall is tied for second in the NCAA in SV%, ranks sixth in the NCAA in GAA, and is tied for 10th in the NCAA in wins in 2019-20.

2. Lauri Pajuniemi tallied a to tie the game in the final minute of regulation on Jan. 10 against Karpat. The Rangers’ fifth round pick (132nd overall) in the 2018 NHL Entry Draft has recorded 28 points (20 goals, eight assists) in 34 games in this season. Pajuniemi has established career-highs in goals and points, and has tied his career-high in assists this season. In addition, he ranks second in Liiga in goals this season.

3. Nils Lundkvist tallied an assist in 20:25 of ice time to help Lulea defeat Frolunda in the first game of the Champions Hockey League (CHL) Semifinals on Jan. 7, and he logged at least 22:00 of ice time in each of Lulea’s two games in the (SHL) during the past week. The Rangers’ first round pick (28th overall) in the 2018 NHL Entry Draft has registered 10 points (two goals, eight assists) and a plus-four rating in 11 Champions Hockey League games this season. Lundkvist is the first defenseman in the tournament’s history who has recorded 10 or more points in one year as a U20 player or younger. Lulea plays the return game of the Semifinals on Jan. 14. Lundkvist has registered 17 points (four goals, 13 assists) and a plus-13 rating in 26 SHL games this season with Lulea, and he is one of only three SHL players who have recorded 17 or more points and a plus-13 rating or better this season.

• Adam Huska earned a win in each of his two appearances during the past week, posting a 2.01 GAA and a .931 SV% in the two contests. The Rangers’ seventh round pick (184th overall) in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft has earned a win in each of his last three appearances, and he has helped the Wolf Pack earn at least one point

in 12 of his 16 starts this season. Huska is tied for second among AHL rookie goaltenders in GAA (2.61) and is tied for fifth among AHL rookie goaltenders in SV% (.908) in 2019-20.

• Joey Keane tallied an assist and posted a plus-one rating on Jan. 10 vs. Charlotte. The Rangers’ third round pick (88th overall) in the 2018 NHL Entry Draft, who was selected to play in the 2020 AHL All-Star Classic, has registered 22 points (six goals, 16 assists) in 38 games with the Wolf Pack this season. Keane is tied for sixth among AHL defensemen in goals and is tied for 13th among AHL defensemen in points this season. In addition, he is tied for first among AHL rookie defensemen in goals and is tied for second among AHL rookie defensemen in points in 2019-20.

• Vinni Lettieri registered five points (one goal, four assists) in Hartford’s three games during the past week, including four points (one goal, three assists) and a plus-three rating on Jan. 10 vs. Charlotte. Lettieri has recorded a goal/point in four of the last five games, tallying eight points (four goals, four assists) over the span. He leads the Wolf Pack in goals (15) and points (32), and is tied for the team lead in assists (17) this season.

• Tim Gettinger registered four points (one goal, three assists) and a plus-three rating in Hartford’s three games during the past week, including three points (one goal, two assists), six shots on goal, and a plus-three rating on Jan. 10 vs. Charlotte. The Rangers’ fifth round pick (141st overall) in the 2016 NHL Entry Draft has recorded seven points (four goals, three assists) in the last seven games and 12 points (six goals, six assists) in the last 15 games. Gettinger is tied for third on the Wolf Pack in goals this season (10).

• Boo Nieves posted a multi-point game in two of Hartford’s three contests during the past week (two goals, two assists), and he also registered a plus-four rating over the three contests. He has registered a point in six of the last eight games, tallying 10 points (three goals, seven assists) over the span. Nieves has registered 22 points (five goals, 17 assists) and a plus-10 rating in 37 AHL games with the Wolf Pack in 2019-20, and he has established AHL career-highs in assists and points this season. In addition, Nieves’ plus-10 rating this season would be an AHL career-high. He is tied for the team lead in assists, ranks third in plus/minus rating, and is tied for fourth in points in 2019-20.

• Darren Raddysh tallied an assist and posted a plus-two rating on Jan. 10 vs. Charlotte. He has recorded 17 points (four goals, 13 assists) and a plus-19 rating in 39 games with the Wolf Pack this season. Raddysh is tied for fourth in the AHL in plus/minus rating in 2019-20.

• Karl Henriksson tallied two assists, won 13 of 17 faceoffs (76.5%), and recorded three shots on goal with Frolunda’s J20 team against Lulea’s J20 team on Jan. 11 in the SuperElit Top 10 league. The Rangers’ second round pick (58th overall) in the 2019 NHL Entry Draft has registered 25 points (five goals, 20 assists) and a plus-14 rating in 19 games with Frolunda’s J20 team in SuperElit this season. Henriksson ranks sixth in the league (min. 10 games played) in points per game this season (1.32).

• K’Andre Miller tallied an assist on the game-winning goal and posted a plus-one rating in the University of Wisconsin’s win against Ohio State on Jan. 11. The Rangers’ first round pick (22nd overall) in the 2018 NHL Entry Draft has recorded eight points (three goals, five assists) in the last 10 games and has registered 12 points (six goals, six assists) in 20 games in his sophomore year with Wisconsin in 2019-20. Miller is tied for fifth among NCAA defensemen in goals this season.

• Morgan Barron registered an assist on Jan. 11 against Union. The Rangers’ sixth round pick (174th overall) in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft has registered 18 points (nine goals, nine assists) and a plus-12 rating in 15 games with Cornell this season, helping the team post a 12-1-2 record thus far in 2019-20. Barron leads Cornell in several categories this season, including goals, points, and shots on goal (55), and he is also tied for second on the team in assists.

• Jacob Ragnarsson recorded three points (one goal, two assists) and posted a plus-three rating on Jan. 11 against Almtuna. The Rangers’ third round pick (70th overall) in the 2018 NHL Entry Draft has registered seven points (one goal, six assists) and a plus-six rating in 18 games with Timra in Allsvenskan (’s second-highest pro league) this season.

• Matthew Robertson notched an assist on Jan. 8 at Moose Jaw. The Rangers’ second round pick (49th overall) in the 2019 NHL Entry Draft has registered a point in eight of his last 13 games, recording 10 points (two goals, eight assists) over the span. Robertson has notched 25 points (eight goals, 17 assists) in 40 WHL games with Edmonton this season. He is tied for ninth among WHL defensemen in goals and is tied for 16th among WHL defensemen in points this season. In addition, among WHL defensemen who are in their U19 season or younger, Robertson is tied for third in goals and is tied for fifth in points in 2019-20.

• Simon Kjellberg tallied an assist on Jan. 11 against Colgate. The Rangers’ sixth round pick (163rd overall) in the 2018 NHL Entry Draft has recorded nine points (four goals, five assists) and a plus-two rating in 19 games in his freshman year

with Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) in 2019-20. Kjellberg is tied for second among NCAA freshmen defensemen in goals this season.

• Eric Ciccolini notched an assist on the game-winning goal in the University of Michigan’s 3-0 win against Notre Dame on Jan. 10. The Rangers’ seventh round pick (205th overall) in the 2019 NHL Entry Draft has recorded a point in four of the last seven games (one goal, three assists), and he has registered eight points (one goal, seven assists) in 22 games with Michigan this season. Ciccolini leads the team in assists in 2019-20, and he is the only freshman who has skated in each of the team’s 22 games this season.

• Leevi Aaltonen recorded an assist and logged 15:09 of ice time (the second-most he has played in one game in Liiga this season) on Jan. 11 against Jukurit. The Rangers’ fifth round pick (130th overall) in the 2019 NHL Entry Draft has registered three assists/points during his first full season with KalPa in Liiga this season. Aaltonen is one of only 12 players in their U19 season or younger who have recorded three or more points in Liiga in 2019-20, and he is tied for fifth among players in their U19 season or younger in Liiga in assists this season.

• Hunter Skinner posted a plus-one rating in each of London’s three games during the past week. The Rangers’ fourth round pick (112th overall) in the 2019 NHL Entry Draft has registered 24 points (three goals, 21 assists) and a plus-21 rating in 40 OHL games with London this season. Skinner ranks third among OHL defensemen in plus/minus rating in 2019-20.

• Tarmo Reunanen posted a plus-one rating or better in each of his two games during the past week with in Liiga (plus-three rating over the span). The Rangers’ fourth round pick (98th overall) in the 2016 NHL Entry Draft has posted a plus-six rating over his last three games (on the ice for six goals for, none against over the span), and he has registered eight points (two goals, six assists) in 30 games in Liiga this season.

• Nico Gross posted a plus-one rating in two of three games with Oshawa during the past week. The Rangers’ fourth round pick (101st overall) in the 2018 NHL Entry Draft has registered 19 points (seven goals, 12 assists) and a plus-five rating in 30 games with Oshawa this season. Gross ranks fourth on the team – and ranks second among team defensemen – in plus/minus rating in 2019-20.
