FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE May 11, 2015 3 DOORS DOWN FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE May 11, 2015 3 DOORS DOWN ANNOUNCE SUMMER TOUR WITH SEETHER IN FRONT OF NEW STUDIO ALBUM Nashville, TN --- 3 Doors Down has announced the band's Summer touring plans will feature a joint run with Seether for more than a dozen dates, as well as the selection of Theory of a Deadman or Collective Soul as support in markets where Seether is not appearing. Prior to the tour, the band will be in the studio recording a new album with multi-platinum hit record producer Matt Wallace. 3 Doors Down singer Brad Arnold shares, "We're excited to be heading in to the studio with Matt to make a new 3 Doors Down record! We can't wait to get some of these new songs we've been playing live put to tape. This is shaping up to be our best album yet!" The Seether run begins on July 7 in Laredo, TX. A VIP pre-sale will go live TODAY at Noon local time with the public on-sale set for Friday, May 15th at 10AM. Tickets and VIP packages can be purchased at the band's web site www.3doorsdown.com. Guitarist Chris Henderson shares, "Touring with our friends in Seether is always a blast! Dechsakda [email protected] Follow this and additional works at: http://opensiuc.lib.siu.edu/gs_rp The er search paper was a study of how digital music distribution has affected the music industry by researching different views and aspects. I believe this topic was vital to research because it give us insight on were the music industry is headed in the future. Two main research questions proposed were; “How is digital music distribution affecting the music industry?” and “In what way does the piracy industry affect the digital music industry?” The methodology used for this research was performing case studies, researching prospective and retrospective data, and analyzing sales figures and graphs. Case studies were performed on one independent artist and two major artists whom changed the digital music industry in different ways. Another pair of case studies were performed on an independent label and a major label on how changes of the digital music industry effected their business model and how piracy effected those new business models as well. I analyzed sales figures and graphs of digital music sales and physical sales to show the differences in the formats. I researched prospective data on how consumers adjusted to the digital music advancements and how piracy industry has affected them. Last I concluded all the data found during this research to show that digital music distribution is growing and could possibly be the dominant format for obtaining music, and the battle with piracy will be an ongoing process that will be hard to end anytime soon.

The method of this study is qualitative research. Because the writer analyzes the data based on the document, and the writer observes the document itself. The data of this research taken from the lyrics of the songs in 70’s era and millennium era. In this case the writer means that the songs was launch between 1970-1979 namely the Hotel California (1976), The temple of the king (1975), Bohemian Rhapsody (1975), Smoke on The Water (1972), Brown Sugar (1971), The Long and Winding Road (1970) and some songs from Millennium era or 2000’s era is the era between years 2000-2009.
