Senator Bernardi has been representing South Australia in the since 2006 and is a leader of the Australian Conservatives party, a minor political party he founded in 2017. He is a former member of the Liberal Party of Australia, having represented the party in the Senate from 2006 to 2017.

This is a great opportunity to hear from Senator Bernardi on the currently political landscape along with a great opportunity to network with fellow credit professionals and colleagues from outside the credit circles.

Speaker Bio – Senator Cory Berardi

Senator Cory Berardi is an Australian federal politician. Cory was sworn in as a Liberal Senator for South Australia in May 2006.

Before entering Parliament, Cory was a member of the Australia rowing team, a publican, an investment portfolio manager and venture capital entrepreneur.

During his time in the Liberal Party, Cory served as the youngest ever Federal Vice President of the Liberal Party of Australia.

An accomplished author, Cory has written seven books including two children’s books.

In 2009, Cory founded the Conservative Leadership Foundation – a not – for – profit educational, research and training organization dedicated to developing Australia’s future leaders around the guiding principles of limited government, personal responsibility, free enterprise and traditional values.

Cory then founded Australian Conservatives in 2017, providing a community for Australians who believe conservative principles are the better way for the nation,
