PA National Park has also issued a Fire Ban. For Smoke and Air Quality update access website: www.Firesmoke.ca Reference to Parks Culture and Sport for parks/rec site information www.saskparks.net Smoke from wildfires will impact Saskatchewan from La Loche to the Manitoba border. Smoke is a health issue across all northern areas. Many communities in the northern provincial forest are evacuating health impacted individuals. Smoke condition are making suppression operations difficult across the province. All wildfires of concern currently burning except the Bryan Fire are Full or Modified Response Zone fires. Highways and roads across the north are open and closed intermittently depending on smoke and wildfire conditions. Mayor of La Loche declared total evacuation of community, and Chief of Clearwater Dene Nation ordered the same for CRDN, on late afternoon of June 29 Full evacuation of La Ronge area declared Jul 5. Wildfires currently burning that are threatening communities are being directly actioned by wildfire management personnel.
