COUNTY COUNCIL PROPOSAL TO ENLARGE THE PREMISES AND INCREASE THE CAPACITY OF HATHERN CHURCH OF PRIMARY SCHOOL FROM 105 TO 210 PLACES IBSTOCK JUNIOR SCHOOL FROM 240 TO 360 PLACES HIGHGATE COMMUNITY PRIMARY SCHOOL FROM 210 TO 315 PLACES

Notice is hereby given in accordance with the Education and Inspections Act 2006 and The School Organisation (Prescribed Alterations to Maintained Schools) (England) Regulations 2013 that Leicestershire County Council of County Hall, Glenfield, Leicester LE3 8RF proposes to enlarge the premises and increase the capacity of the following schools:

Hathern Church of England Primary School (a 105 to 210 15 to 27 Extension to the existing Voluntary Controlled School), Pasture Lane, school building and Hathern, , Leicestershire LE12 5LJ internal alterations.

Ibstock Junior School (a Community School), 240 to 360 60 to 90 A new classroom block. Melbourne Road, Ibstock, Leicestershire LE67 6NP

Highgate Community Primary School (a 210 to 315 30 to 45 A new classroom block. Community School), Heathcote Drive, Sileby, Loughborough, Leicestershire LE12 7ND

The increase to admission numbers will initially apply to the reception year group only at Hathern Church of England Primary School and Highgate Community Primary School and to the Year 3 intake only at Ibstock Junior School. The increased admission numbers will then feed through each school year on year. It is proposed that the increases will take effect for any admissions commencing on or after Wednesday, 23rd August 2017.
