Eric Hesse Bruce Kaminski Kurt Martin William C. Martin Jim Nash Tye Vecchione Greg Walinski Welcome to Hookers Ball XII!

When we started letting people know that we were changing our name to better reflect our growth through the years, the first question many asked was: Are you going to change the name of the Hookers Ball? As you can see, the answer is no. Hookers Ball is a lasting testament to our roots and provides the resources and support necessary for us to build a future for fishing families on .

Even as we forge ahead with a new name—the Cape Cod Commercial Fishermen’s Alliance—we remain an organization run by fishermen, for fishermen. Day-boat fishermen on Cape Cod are still finding solutions to challenges on the water and are committed to preserving Cape Cod’s small boat fleet for the future.

Thank you for attending Hookers Ball. I encourage you to get more involved with us by: • attending or sponsoring an event, • volunteering, and • bidding tonight!

We appreciate your continued support and look forward to working together to ensure there are generations of fish and fishermen for years to come.

Thank you,

Small Boats. Big Ideas. The Cape Cod Commercial Fishermen's Alliance engages our local fishing community in building lasting solutions to protect our ecosystem and the future of our fishing businesses. Founded in 1991 by the local fishing fleet, we are now a nationally recognized nonprofit organization and the leading voice for commercial fishermen on Cape Cod.

We believe that a healthy marine environment is essential to the success of Cape Cod's fishing economy, and we understand that better ways to manage our fisheries are needed to protect them. We know that fishermen possess the solutions to the challenges they face. Whether it's an improvement to fishing regulations, expanded research programs, or educational and economic development projects in our communities, our work is guided by the energy, innovation and expertise of local fishermen. Together, we're building a better future for fish and fishing.
