We'll do a basic modeling session to demonstrate the basics of draping and pinning, posing, lighting for photographs and more. This workshop is designed for both artists and models. FRIDAY, OCTOBER 21st • 10:30 AM - NOON DIRECTING YOUR MODEL (Bob Eggleton & Sarah McGinnis) We'll discuss the model/artist collaborative process from both sides—how an artist can direct a model and how a model can be a part of the creative process in return. We'll discuss posing, use of props and other ideas that transform the process from just "taking pictures" to a creative, collaborative endeavor. SATURDAY, OCTOBER 22nd • 10:30 - NOON MAKEUP: WHAT DOES IT DO, HOW TO USE IT EFFECTIVELY, & WHEN DO YOU NEED IT (Sarah McGinnis & Julia Johnson) We'll discuss basic makeup for modeling (contouring, colors, application techniques) for photographs and sketching, as well as using basic make-up to enhance or create a character look. Julia will also be demonstrating a more complex piece on one or more of our models that will be paired with an on-the spot costume creation which will be available for photographs after the talk.

The Complete Skywald Checklist This index is as complete as possible given Skywald’s custom of often dropping credits off stories, hiding credits in the art of the story {mostly under Hewetson’s reign—in windowsills, gables, panel borders, as debris, etc.}, the heavy use of pseudomyns & single names and the miscrediting of stories to the wrong artist. Many of the mysteries regarding credits have been solved by access to Al Hewetson’s notes & checklists as well as the extensive aid of Christos N. Gage. Check out the end of the bibliography for interviews with Al Hewetson, Ed Fedory, Augustine Funnell & Maelo Cintron. You’ll be glad you did! Nightmare 1. cover: Brendan Lynch?
