Biltmore Loan and Jewelry Announces Cortney’s Place

As Their Charity of Choice

Scottsdale, AZ – November 15, 2012 --David Goldstein, Founder and Owner of Biltmore Loan and Jewelry, a “collateralized asset lender” in Phoenix, announced today that he has selected Cortney’s Place of Scottsdale as his charity of choice. Goldstein made his most recent donation when he attended the “You are the Star” Golf Tournament on October 29. Cortney’s Place is a special needs facility for mentally and physically challenged adults, currently providing hydrotherapy, pet therapy, music therapy, healthy cooking, a specially designed multi-sensory room, and much more, all administered by the program’s professionally trained staff.

“I chose this charity because I believe deeply in the valuable and extremely effective work they are doing,” says Goldstein. “As I have watched this organization expand, because of the demand in the community they serve, I have become friends with Cindy Carpenter (founder of Cortney’s Place) and her husband Jim. We, at Biltmore Loan and Jewelry, want to support their efforts in any way we can.” Goldstein’s most recent donation to Cortney’s Place, a $7,000 gift to the organization, came at their annual “You Are The Star” Golf Tournament on Oct. 29, sponsoring several of the day’s activities and contests. Among the donations to Cortney’s Place that day, Goldstein bid on PGA and Schwab Cup golfer to win a unique “Closest To The Pin” event featuring ten PGA/Schwab Cup tour professionals, including Frost, , , Duffy Waldorf, Corey Pavin, and others. Kenny Perry won the contest. “We are deeply appreciative of David Goldstein and Biltmore Loan and Jewelry’s generous support of Cortney’s Place,” said Cindy Carpenter, President and Founder of Cortney’s Place, named after her daughter. “With the assistance and support of forward thinking and kind-hearted people like David, we can continue to provide those who need it most with a world-class facility for the education, entertainment and activity of our special needs adults.”
