DPCR belongs to the national Cristo Rey Sister Jeanne Bessette, OSF, Ed.D. Network, which is composed of 32 quality, Catholic, college preparatory high Principal schools for underrepresented urban youth. Through rigorous academics, Andrew Farfsing, M.Ed. coupled with real world work experience, Cristo Rey students graduate high Assistant Principals school prepared for success in college and in life. Ethnic Backgrounds Our Students 2016-17 DePaul Cristo Rey serves approximately 333 students in grades 9-12. Most of our students will be the first in their family to enroll in college; some will be the first to complete high school.

Average Family Income = $34,337 (2015-16 data) Our Academic Program Graduation Requirements All courses at DePaul Cristo Rey High School are college preparatory classes. The core courses of Mathematics, English, Science, Social Studies, and Grading Religion, and Spanish have been developed by a team of teachers and principals from Cristo Rey Network schools with assistance from university partners. The college preparatory program at DePaul Cristo Rey begins with DePaul Cristo Rey High School a challenging college-ready curriculum, effectively taught by professional, Minimum Graduation Requirements mission-driven teachers and evaluated using a variety of assessment tools. English: 4 Credits After freshman year, students may follow an Honors track. DPCR currently offers AP Government and Calculus classes with the expectation that AP Mathematics: 4 Credits offerings will grow as the school grows. Religion/Theology: 4 Credits Through the Apps program, students are guided to develop learning strategies and habits that will contribute to their evolution into lifelong Science: 4 Credits learners.
