MAPLE MAC INSTALLATION
1. Go to Campus Downloads at http://www.marquette.edu/its/help/downloads/
2. Scroll to Maple a nd click the macOS link.
3. Login to Marquette's Microsoft site with your Marquette.edu email address and password.
4. From your “Downloads” folder, open macOS-Maple-2018. Double-click Maple201 8.0MacInstaller.dmg
5. Double-click Maple201 8.0MacInstaller.

MAPLE MAC INSTALLATION
Note that some Macs are setup to only allow installation from the Mac App Store. If that is the case, then follow these instructions.
a) Go to Apple Menu > System Preferences > Security & Privacy. b) If you need to, c lick the lock to make changes and enter your Mac administration password. c) Under “Allow applications downloaded for,” note which setting you have. d) Select anywhere. It will prompt you that this is less secure. Click Allow from anywhere. e) After the installation is complete, go back to the Apple Menu > System Preferences > Security > Privacy and reinstate the previous security setting.
6. This warning will appear. Click Open.

7. Enter your Mac credentials and click OK .
8. The Maple Setup window will appear. Click Next.

9. The License Agreement window will appear. Select the I accept option and click Next.

10. The Installation Directory window will appear. Click Next.

11. The Licensing Type window will appear. Select Single User License and click Next.

12. The Check for Updates window will appear. Select Enable periodic checking for Maple 2016 updates after installation. Select Check for updates now. Click Next.
13. This prompt will appear if there are no updates. Click OK.

14. The Pre-installation Summary window will appear. Click Next.

15. The Setup Finished window will appear. Select Activate Maple and click Finish.

16. The Maplesoft Activation window wi ll appear.

17. Return to the folder from which you launched the installer package. Open “License Key.txt.”
18. The text document opens . Highlight the text and copy it (Control+click, select Copy).

19. Return to the Maplesoft Activation window.
Paste the key into the designated box, select No from the options and click Next.

20. The Fields window will appear. Fill in your credentials, uncheck all the options, and click Next.

21. The Activation Success window will appear. Click OK.
22. Open Maple 2016. Congratulations ! You have successfully installed and activated Maple 2016 for Mac.
