August 2017 Department of Services to Palestinian Refugees DSPR-Jordan News Letter- Volume 8& 9
DSPR Jordan is a non-profit organization founded in 1951 to provide services to Palestinian Refugees residing in Jordan. It continues its mission today by offering vocational training, education, direct assistance, and psychosocial services to Palestinian, Iraqi's and Syrian refugees through its centers located around the country. This newsletter provides an update of activities conducted in August and September 2017.
Back To School Campaign
As quick response to providing Syrian refugees and needy people with their needs support of DSPR's partner. DSPR launched its School Kits distribution campaign, where it distributed (1620) school kits on (7) governorates for (1620) students. The distribution process was based on aiding the most vulnerable through DSPR's voluntary teams, and networking with women programs centers, JHCO, civil society institutions, DSPR centers, and churches. Also (600) food parcels were distributed on (600) Syrian refugee, and needy families in (3) governorates.

Christian World Services (CWS) Program
With (CWS) program, DSPR Jordan conducted the following activities:
1- (1) Vocational Training workshop titled (Perfume Manufacturing) for (40) Palestinian refugee women.
2- (1) Health Education workshop titled ( Summer Diseases of Children) for (40) Palestinian refugee children
3- (1) Evaluation and Feed back to evaluate the work which has been done through the Project life cycle which
ended by August 31st, 2017.
