ENEL X RUS AND RUSHYDRO LAUNCH FAST CHARGING STATION NETWORK IN THE RUSSIAN FAR EAST

 Ten charging stations, located in the cities of Vladivostok, Artem and Ussuriisk, were installed within the framework of the agreement between Enel X Rus and RusHydro

 The fast charging stations are capable of filling up two vehicles at the same time by means of two 50 kW DC and one 22 kW AC points

Vladivostok, September 3rd, 2019 - Enel X Rus LLC (Enel X Rus), a subsidiary of the Enel Group’s advanced energy solutions global business line Enel X, and one of Russia's largest power generating companies RusHydro, unveiled today the ten fast charging stations it provided to Primorskiy Kray, in the Far Eastern Federal District. Under the agreement, Enel X Rus supplied, installed and commissioned the stations while RusHydro connected them to the grid.

Today’s event was attended by the acting Deputy Governor of Primorskiy Kray Elena Parkhomenko, Enel Country Manager in Russia Carlo Palasciano Villamagna, General Director of Enel X Rus Sergey Kiselev and General Director of RusHydro Nikolay Shulginov.

«Installation of the first EV fast charging stations is an important stage for high technologies development in the region. The administration will put all the possible efforts to further broaden the network of such charging stations throughout the Primorsky Kray”, - said Elena Parkhomenko, acting Vice-Governor of the Primorsky Kray.

“The launch of these electric vehicle charging stations in Primorskiy Kray is a new step in our effort to boost electric mobility in Russia. We are leveraging on the global expertise and extensive know-how of Enel X to bring the most advanced e-mobility technologies to the region and Russia as a whole, contributing to the transition towards clean and sustainable transport”, - said Carlo Palasciano Villamagna, Enel Country Manager in Russia.

The fast charging stations, which all belong to Enel X’s JuicePump family, have three charging points each: two with a capacity of 50 kW DC and one of 22 kW AC. They are able to fill up two EVs at the same time and can give them up to 200 km charge in just 30-40 minutes. The ten charging stations are installed in Primorskiy Kray, in Russia’s Far Eastern Federal District: 7 in Vladivostok, one in Ussuriisk and another two in the city of Artem. The charging stations are compatible with all electric vehicles currently on the market and are in full compliance with international standards in the field of electric mobility. The project follows the recent installation of three fast charging stations of the same family in the city of Chelyabinsk under an agreement with the distribution operator IDGC of Urals, a subsidiary of Russian energy grid operator PJSC .
