The Chapter Officers led by CP AJ Verceles attended the leadership training facilitated by Mr Al Fabon. We gained more knowledge about each other and about leadership by playing a leadership game based on the teachings of John Maxwell.

Last September 21, 2020, Arch AJ Verceles and Arch Joeffrey Catapang visited the Caniogan Elementary School to officially handover the items from the “One Ream One Dream“ corporate social responsibility project of the UAP Pasig Chapter to support the alternative learning system program of Caniogan Elementary School.

September 2020 GMM’s title is “The More the Merrier”. It’s an interplay between UAP Pasig and PIEP NCR Chapter headed by Chapter President Engr / EnP Bernardo Terrobias with special guests from the UAP Special Committee on Urban Planning headed by Chairperson Arch / EnP Mia Quimpo.

We also invited Arch / EnP Mia Quimpo to give a talk on Architecture and Urban Planning.

Chairperson of UAP Special Committee on Urban Planning Arch / EnP Mia Quimpo shared her Reflections on Pandemic Design and Planning by narrating her personal experiences during the quarantine period alongside her interpretations on a “Hero’s Journey” a book by Joseph Campbell where the main character ventures into the unknown and returns in triumph.

This was followed by interactive virtual activities participated on by members from both PIEP NCR and UAP Pasig. This activity established rapport and fostered camaraderie among the members of the two chapters.

The night ended with members of both chapters familiar with those they interacted with and had fun.

We are had a courtesy zoom meeting with Pasig City Hon. Mayor Vico Sotto to discuss possible linkages with the local government of Pasig; UAP Pasig Chapter as a potential consultant for some of the LGU projects; and provisions of the RA9266 or better known as the “Architecture Act of 2004”. We also took the opportunity to discuss the planned design competition and invited Mayor Vico as one of the judges.

We are grateful to everyone who graced the event most specially to UAP National President Arch. Rene Heray; UAP Past National President Arch.
