Venetian Bead Zanfirico Millefiori Gold Round 16mm, Aqua

Venetian Bead incorporating 3 different techniques. The bead is worked by applying millefiori slices which create the small flowers and then pieces of Zanfirico cane and finally 24kt gold foil exterior. Like all beads with exterior gold foil, the gold foil will wear over time and with contact with other items. This is normal and is not a defect, rather part of the type bead. The exact size, shape and placement of the slices of millefiori and the zanfirico are completely random and no two are ever exactly alike. The size of this round bead is approximatelyt 16mm with a center hole of approximately 1mm diameter. The color of this bead is an opaque Turquoise, Aqua Murano glass with aqua zanfirico.

Luscious spring colors a little mutted because of the ca'd'oro white gold and have a yellow gold band across them. Pillow Squares and a glass bracelet also available. The base color is Verde Erba, peridot green Murano Glass.

Opaque Red Fenicio Heart 20mm Gold Foil Venetian Glass Bead Venetian Beads heart shaped in approximately 20mm size with crystal clear glass encasing white gold foil. Each heart has the fenicio decoration handpainted with molten glass over across the Venetian heart. These fenicio are made by first striping the heart with the color and then drawing a tool through the striped to produce the fleur de li pattern. You often encounter this pattern in french pastries, made essentially the same way with striping and drawing through the stripe to create these beautiful Murano beads. This is a very interesting pattern to add to your jewelry with matching ovals and twists available. The color of the design in called Verde Nilo, an opaque red Murano Glass.
