Asian Future Leaders Scholarship Program Looking for a life-enriching study abroad experience in East Asia? The Asian Future Leaders Scholarship Program (AFLSP) awards up to 105 scholarships to high-caliber students from Asia each year to study abroad in leading East Asian universities.
In its mission to create intercultural opportunities for the next generation of leaders, the AFLSP partners with 16 universities in nine cities, where scholars are welcome to pursue their choice of an undergraduate, master’s, or doctoral degree or exchange program (see details below). The scholarship o ers each student up to US$25,000 per year or a total of US$50,000 per scholar, which may be used towards university tuition, accommodation costs, and personal living expenses.

Japanese Exchange Scholarship Japanese students from Keio University, Kyoto University, Kyushu University, The University of Tokyo, and Waseda University are eligible for the AFLSP Exchange Scholarship, which o ers students up to US$12,500 each for a one-year exchange program at one of the following universities as part of their undergraduate, master’s, or doctoral degree studies.
