UTILITY SECTION HANDBOOK Encroachment Types Facilities Types Folder Types Utilities Class Codes Current Companies Historical Companies Revision: January 2018 INTRODUCTION The purpose of this Handbook is to provide reference information for Utilities located within Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) Right-of-Ways. This information aids in the use and maintenance of the Utilities Data Base within Agile Assets. The Handbook consists of three color coded sections preceded by the County listing (in orange.) The first section (light green), includes abbreviations and descriptions for Encroachment Types, Facilities Types, Folder Types and Utilities Class Codes. The second section (blue), lists all Current Companies with their WYDOT assigned “Utility ID” code and any history or remarks. Finally, the third section (purple), lists Historical Companies with any additional history. The WYDOT Utility Section takes pride in providing an accurate and useful tool for you, the user. (Usually “licensed” by relocation adjustment agreement. Facilities OUTS located outside of WYDOT rights-of-way are otherwise not required to be licensed.) Founded inn 1990 by Albert Huddleston to AETHON acquire, operate, and develop onshore oil & gas properties. First WYDOT license in August 2017. AFTON Town of Afton Missile Site Communication Cables, Missile Access Roads and AIRFORCE Facilities out of F.E. Warren AFB AKA Energy Group, LLC B Windsor, CO. 2002 natural gas AKA-ENER midstream (gathering) company wholly owned by Southern Ute Indian Tribe. Only license as of 8/2016 58933. ALBANY Albany County ALBIN Town of Albin All West Communications Wyoming. Formerly UT-WYTEL – ALL WEST Utah Wyoming Telecommunications. Started in 1912 as Utah & Wyoming Independent telephone company. Alltel Communications, LLC. Defunct as of 2016! Alltel purchased by Verizon in 2008 except for small portions in ALLTEL remote areas. Those facilities were then purchased by AT&T in 2013. As of 8/2016 still have license 62032 (signed in 1/2010) Town of Alpine. (Also includes folder 42248 originally issued to ALPINE Alpine Water & Sewer District) AMAX Coal Co. (29867 & 29314) & Amax Petroleum Coo.
