APRIL 2019 10 © The Old Codger 2016 FREE EVERY MONTH The Old Codger Issue 8 Vol 2 FLASH RADIO Please help the Flash radio station raise £4000.00 so we can launch an FM community radio service for the greater Waterlooville area! We have launched a ‘Go Fund Me’ campaign called ‘The Flash Fund For FM’ and ask if you could please give whatever you can afford to help us launch an FM service locally. The Waterlooville area is growing all the time and we strongly feel that it deserves to have it’s own station on FM. Ofcom have already awarded us with the FM licence, but as a small group we would really appreciate help so we can purchase the tools to do the job. Every penny raised will go towards the purchase and installation of the transmission equipment required before we can launch on FM. The Flash is a local not for profit radio station which has been serving the area as an Internet station since 2012, and become available on DAB (Digital Radio) to the Portsmouth area in August 2015. We are a dedicated team of volunteers who are focused on promoting the talents of bands, musicians and singer/songwriters in the local area, and the importance of the local music scene in our communities. There are many independent volunteers and charities who archive so much in our local area and The Flash will also continue to promote all that is positive within the area that we serve. While the Internet and DAB are great platforms with increasing listener ship, many radio listeners still find FM the most accessible, and we have the experience and dedication to be able to make a difference on FM in the Waterlooville area. PLEASE GIVE US A HELPING HAND BY GIVING A DONATION TODAY! Thank you for taking the time to read this and please check out our website at - www.theflashonair.co.uk

You can hear us in Portsmouth and Waterlooville area’s on DAB radio, and via Tunein. Martin Kirby Station Founder, Director of Flash on Air Limited.
