Brief Note for the amendments in the Existing Environmental Clearance.

M/s. GAR Corporation Private Limited proposed to develop a commercial project at Sy No. 107(P) & 108(P) of Kokapet (V), Rajendranagar Mandal, RangaReddy District and obtained EC for their proposed project for a total built up area of 2, 52,879.46 Square meters in May 2017 from the state level Environmental Impact Assessment Authority, vide Order No. SEIAA/TS/OL/RRD- 93/2017-651 dated 18.05.2017.

As there are few minor changes in number of Floors from the original plan and also the name change this application is made for amendment of previous EC

* In the earlier report no. of work force was mentioned as 4500. But it is 17,500. Hence the Water quantity re-estimated based on revised employee count.

As the total area proposed to be developed is less than 3, 00,000 Square Meters, as per the EIA Ammedment notification dated 9th December, 2016; this comes under sector 8(b) B1 category (under state level Authority)

PARKING AREA:

The total area allocated for basement parking as per the modified site plan is 61,444.6 Sq.Mts two stack parking is proposed which can accommodate 2924 four wheelers and adequate two wheelers parking is provided. The total parking area is being proposed in the proposed project is given below.

As per the building norms in , the total parking area shall be 40% of the built up area and 10% for the visitors parking. Out of the total build up area of 2, 01,193.43Sq.mts the parking area requirement is 1,10,656.387 Sq.mts the total parking area proposed will be working out to 61,444.6 square meters (With two stack parking) which is adequate

WATER REQUIREMENT:

As per National Building Code, 2016 (NBC), water requirement for occupants is 45 litres/day/ person and for visitors the requirement is 15 litres/day/person. The total population likely to be accommodated would be around 17,500 people. Another 25 people would be there like security and other support staff. Thus total water requirement for inmates is estimated at 789 KLD. Quantity estimated for guests and visitors is estimated at another 1.0 KLD. Considering washings of floors and other requirement, a total requirement is estimated at 790 KLD. Also it is estimated that about 6.0 KLD of water is required for landscaping and plantation purposes and for HVAC is 450 KLD. Thus total water requirement would be 1246 KLD. It is proposed to source water from municipal supply and ground water.

The treated waste water would be recycled for toilet flashings and green belt. Any additional treated waste is there, same will be connected to municipal sewer

The total sewage water generated is 900.0 KLD. It is proposed to treat the sewage in STP of capacity of 960 KLD. The treated waste water is used for Flushing & gardening and the rest of the treated water would be send to municipal sewer.

BACK-UP POWER DETAILS:

It is proposed to provide power back up for entire office complex including amenities with 11 X 2000 KVA capacities with double back system c) Solid & Hazardous Waste Details:

Domestic garbage is anticipated from the office space complex. Total solid waste estimated @ 0.20 Kg/day per person and 0.15 Kg/day per visitor. Thus total garbage anticipated from the complex will be 3512 Kgs/Day which is proposed to be disposed to municipal solid waste disposal facility of MCH through local municipal authorities. About 50 Kgs/day of solid waste anticipated from sewage treatment plant and same will be used as manure.

The hazardous waste generated will primarily be waste lube oil from maintenance of DG set of about 200 liters per annum and 100 liters per annum of transformer oil from transformers. This waste oils will be collected in barrels and disposed off through parties authorized by TSPCB / CPCB.

10 no’s of per annum of used batteries will be disposed of by a buy-back arrangement with the battery supplier.
