As a result, it is possible to check the finish order of the previous race and judge that of the current one at the same time. In another use of the network, using one computer exclusively for capturing races and the other for judging finish order will reduce the burden of the photo finish judge. By using the System with a sports timer ST-306 (available as an option), the winner's finish time can be output and displayed as soon as PC the runner has crossed the finish line. This function will facilitate the judgment process as well as slim down the size of the data to be stored in the hard disk. ▼ ▼ 7 Failsafe against Accidental Timer Reset Even if the timer is reset accidentally during an event, normal timekeeping can be resumed using the meas- urements preserved in memory. Picture provided by the Auto-Crop Function 8 Manual Deletion Function A part of the picture taken can be deleted selectively. In long distance track races, for example, deleting runners one or more laps behind those finishing the race can prevent confusion in judging the finish order. 9 Easy Event Registration Once the lists of event names are prepared, the regis- tration of those names for a particular meet can be made easily by clicking them on the display. Addition of new event names can be made easily through the keyboard. 10 Gamma Compensation Function Gamma compensation can be carried out easily after photographing. Pictures taken in bad weather, against the sun or in an ill-lit stadium can be ➡ reproduced into distinct ones on the monitor display to facilitate the judgment process.

However, the only thing that will be “just like 2020” will be the sporting action on the track – the COVID-19 pandemic has fundamentally changed all other aspects of the event. Whereas thousands of sports fans would normally be making their way up and down the paths at Altenberg sliding track to get a good view of the spectacular turns and straights or stake their place at the final grandstand, the venue will be completely empty this year. The athletes along with the coaches, support staff and officials required for the event will be the only people in attendance. Nevertheless, fans can still cheer along and follow each and every trip down Altenberg sliding track thanks to the live stream from the International Bobsleigh and Skeleton Federation (IBSF), many hours of TV broadcasting or separate streams from partner broadcasters in a number of countries. The schedule for the first World Championship weekend in Altenberg features the 2-man and 2- woman bobsleigh events, each made up of four runs on two consecutive days. In the 2-woman bobsleigh, Katrin Beierl will be arriving in Altenberg as the first ever overall World Cup winner from Austria – a feat that has also put her among the favourites for the World Championship title.

    PREFACE The City of Calgary Archives is a section of the City Clerk's Department. The Archives was established in 1981. The descriptive system currently in use was established in 1991. The Archives Society of Alberta has endorsed the use of the Bureau of Canadian Archivists' Rules for Archival Description as the standard of archival description to be used in Alberta's archival repositories. In acting upon the recommendations of the Society, the City of Calgary Archives will endeavour to use RAD whenever possible and to subsequently adopt new rules as they are announced by the Bureau. The focus of the City of Calgary Archives' descriptive system is the series level and, consequently, RAD has been adapted to meet the descriptive needs of that level. RAD will eventually be used to describe archival records at the fonds level. The City of Calgary Archives creates inventories of records of private agencies and individuals as the basic structural finding aid to private records. Private records include a broad range of material such as office records of elected municipal officials, records of boards and commissions funded in part or wholly by the City of Calgary, records of other organizations which function at the municipal level, as well as personal papers of individuals. All of these records are collected because of their close relationship to the records of the civic government, and are subject to formal donor agreements. The search pattern for information in private records is to translate inquiries into terms of type of activity, to link activity with agencies which are classified according to activity, to peruse the appropriate inventories to identify pertinent record series, and then to locate these series, or parts thereof, through the location register.

    Judo Union of Asia 2015JUA Ordinary Congress, Kuwait Minutes Date: 11th May 2015 Time: 11:00 Venue: Hotel Jumeirah Kuwait Mr. Obaid Al-Anzi, President - JUA; welcomed Mr. Marius VIZER, President - IJF, Mr. Jean-Luc Rouge, General Secretary - IJF, Mr. Naser Al Tammemi, General Treasurer - IJF, Mr. Sergey Soloveychik, President, European Judo Union and Vice President – IJF, All JUA EC Members and Representatives of JUA Member Countries in JUA Ordinary Congress at Kuwait. Before starting the meeting Mr. Obaid Al-Anzi informed that, we lost Mr. Hani Halaby, Ex-President of Palestine Judo Federation who passed away last year and the victims of recent Earthquake calamity in our Asian region of Nepal, we may observe one minute silent to pay tribute to late Mr. Hani Halaby, and victims of Earthquake. Mr. ObiadAl-Anzi, President, informed that it is our great pleasure that President, General Secretary and General Treasurer of IJF spared their valued time to attend the JUA Ordinary Congress. Further Mr. ObaidAl- Anzi opened the JUA Ordinary Congress,with his Welcome speech as given below: First of all, on behalf of yourself the delegates of Judo Union of Asia, I would like thank Mr. Marius Vizer, the IJF President to be our Honorary guest here at this Congress together with his Secretary General, Mr. Jean Luc Rouge, Mr. Sergey Soloveychik, President, EJU and IJF friends. It is truely a matter of pleasure to every one of us to have the presence of Mr. Marius Vizerwho has put a lot of efforts to make Judo as a sport marveled all over the world.
