Turning Your TV On 1. Connect the TV to an electrical outlet using the power cable. 2. Press Power on the remote. Turning Your TV Off With your TV on, press Power on the remote. Adjust Your TV Volume Press Volume + / - to adjust the TV volume up or down. Press Mute to turn the sound off. A blue logo displays when the Mute is on. Press Mute to turn the sound back on again. Selecting a TV Channel To scroll up or down the list of channels on your TV, use the Channel + and – buttons. To enter a channel number, use the 0 to 9 buttons. To select a 1 digit channel number (such as channel 5): press the 5 button. To select a 2 digit channel number (such as 20): press the 2 button, then the 0 button. To select a 3 digit channel number (such as 103): press the 1 button, the 0 button, and then the 3 button. Selecting Your Input Source To display a list of input source options, press the Input button on the remote control - input sources toggle in a small window. Choices include AV, S-Video, SCART, VGA, and HDMI. Keep pressing the Input button to scroll through the choices. Press LCD Menu to select and exit the menu.

NAVIGATING THE ON-SCREEN MENU Use the remote control to navigate the on-screen menu. From here you will set up your TV’s programmable options and settings.

Press LCD Menu to display the on-screen menu.

Press  or  to scroll across the list of sub-menus.

Press Enter to access controls for the selected sub-menu.

Press  or  to scroll the list of settings for the selected control.

Press Enter again to change the control settings.

Press LCD Menu to exit and save your settings.

Note: Commands in the on-screen menu may ON-SCREEN COMMAND REMOTE BUTTON not match the button labels on your remote. When you are satisfied with your settings, press LSD Menu twice to select and exit.

Press LCD Menu to display the on-screen menu.

Press Enter to access the sub-menu.

Balance Adjust the balance between the right and left channels.

Bass Adjust the level of the lower-pitched sounds.

Treble Adjust the level of the higher-pitched sounds.

Sound Surround Turn on or off.

Use equalizer presets to make treble and bass adjustments. Equalizer Choose Standard, Speech, Music or Pop.

Allows the TV to automatically equalize the volume Auto Volume Control between high and low channels. Select on or off.

Press Enter to access the sub-menu.

Audio Language Stero, Mono, Dual 1 or Dual 2.

Channels Select Channels sub-menu.

Press  or  to select a country, then press to begin a scan for channels Channel Scan Enter in the country you selected.

Highlight Channel Scan and press Enter. A progress bar shows the status of Update Scan the scan. You can wait until the scan is complete or you can press LCD Menu to stop the scan, the channels detected up to that point are saved.

Highlight Analog Manual Scan, then press Enter. Press  or  to select Analog Manual Scan whether you want to scan channels up or down the frequency dial.

Highlight Digital Manual Scan, then press Enter. Press  or  to select RF Digital Manual Scan Channel. Press Enter to begin. Status bars indicate signal level and signal quality for channels detected during the scan.

Program the TV to skip certain channels. Press  or  to select the Channel Skip channel you want to skip. Press Enter to select.

SETUP MENU OPTIONS

Press LCD Menu to display the on-screen menu.

Press  or  to scroll and select the Video sub-menu.

Press Enter to access the sub-menu.

Press or  to scroll and select the sub-menu controls.

Press  or  to adjust the control settings.

Set the amount of time between the moment you stop using OSD Timeout the menu and the moment the menu disappears.

Set the transparency value for your on-screen display. OSD Transparency Select from Low, Middle, and High. Shows a blue screen whenever there is no signal rather Blue Mute than snow or a black screen.

Time Setup Set your time zone and on-screen timers.

Subtitle Set language and volume options.

Set TV to power-off if no input is received from the user. No User Input Timer Press  or  to set timer.

Return all screen settings to their factory default. Reset Default Press  or  to select. Press Enter to reset.

When set to ON, the TV timer will synch automatically. When set Audio Synch to OFF, use number keys to set date and time for synch to occur.

Power On Timer Use  or  to select a timer that will automatically power the TV on. Choose Once, Off, or On. Set the amount of time that will count down before the TV Timer powers on automatically.

Choose to power the TV on to the last channel used. Power On Channel Last Status Choose User Select to select a specific channel number.

Power Off Timer Set a timer on or off that will automatically power the TV off.

Use number keys to set the amount of time that will count Timer down before the TV powers off automatically.

Subtitle Lang 1 Select first choice language for subtitles.

Subtitle Lang 2 Select second choice language for subtitles.

Select Normal or Hearing Impaired for your subtitles. Subtitle Type Indicates small or larger text.

PARENTAL MENU OPTIONS

Press LCD Menu to display the on-screen menu.

Press  or  to scroll and select the Parental sub-menu.

To enter the Parental Menu controls, press LCD Enter. Then use the remote control number buttons to enter the password. The default password is 2020.

Note: You must select the Password field before you enter the password.

Press  or  to select an age rating. Programs rated for children below the age Program Block selected here will be blocked. Press LCD Menu to select.

Press or  to scroll and select TV input sources. Press Enter to display a lock Input Block icon next to the source. Signals from these input sources will be blocked. Press LCD Menu to select.

When on, TV volume is controlled by the OSD. When off, volume is Volume OSD

Power On Last Source Press or  to scroll and select Off or ON

Power On Select Select the signal source that the TV will use when powered on. Source

On Channel Select the channel that displays when the TV is powered on.

Press Enter. The screen will display “Are you sure?” Clean All Press Select to clear all parental control settings.
