General Information Central Penn Panther Mission: Youth Ice Hockey with CPP is fun, safe, inexpensive, and allows time for kids to be kids. Unlike traditional programs, our organization allows families to have time for other activities away from the rink. Our comprehensive program stresses the important aspects of child development, focusing on skill development, with the goal of helping your son or daughter to become a well-round kid. The Central Penn Panthers provide an improved grass-roots foundation for the growth and development of USA Hockey, designing programs aimed at increased participation, improved skills and a responsible environment for the conduct of youth hockey.

USA Hockey - American Development Model (ADM) The American Development Model, with support from the , is a nationwide initiative of USA Hockey. CPP complies with all aspects of USA Hockey’s ADM program as set forth by the Atlantic District and DVHL.

Hockey Staff Ray Ferry, Wil Younger, Garrett Schultz - will oversee the development of all coaches and players.

The League and Season All Central Penn Panther AA, A & B Mite through Midget teams skate in the Delaware Valley Hockey League (DVHL). Practices begin the week of Aug. 21, 2017 and the season follows the DVHL calendar.

Evaluations Evaluations will be held for each age level according to the schedule below. Players and goalies are asked to attend all sessions and should notify the hockey staff of any conflicts. Players who take the ice with the Panthers for at least one evaluation session will be placed on a team based on their skills at the discretion of the staff. The Central Penn Panther organization has been very successful at developing players and has placed many players at the Junior and college level.

Payment #1 includes a non-refundable evaluation fee ($40 for all levels – this fee is waved for returning 2016-17 players). Payments and Discounts: The first travel payment is due with registration at the first evaluation. At this time, you will also authorize the Central Penn Panthers to automatically collect the remaining 5 payments by either check or credit card. You may select either: Automatic credit card payments - payments will be billed to your credit card on the payment due dates (or next business day) of June 1, July 1, August 1, September 1 and October 1. A credit card authorization form will be available at evaluations. Check payments - you must bring 5 additional checks made out to “Central Penn Panthers” for deposit on the payment due dates (or next business day) of June 1, July 1, August 1, September 1, and October 1. They are to be dated with the payment amounts filled out. There will be a $25 charge for any check returned for insufficient funds. The following discounts are available: Pay in Full: 2.5% will be discounted from total tuition fee (after applying any other applicable discounts) for any Central Penn Panther family that pays in full at evaluations. Family: 15% will be discounted from second tuition fee for families with two or more Central Penn players.
