At 80ha in size, it protects an important area of warm temperate rain- seen at forest and is a lovely spot to visit. The vegetation is dominated by Lily Pilly and forms a unique forest in combination with climbers, vines and ferns. As you Fairy Dell Flora Reserve enter the rainforest, you’ll notice a marked drop in the tem- perature, particularly on a hot day. This moist microclimate of the rainforest helps prevent wildfires and conserves the diversity of unique plant species.
