His high school honors include Valedictorian, Summa Cum Laude, AP Scholar, Key Club Founder and President, National Honor Society President, Art Club Vice President, QuestBridge Match Scholar, QuestBridge Prep Scholar, National Beta Club, Interact Club, Gift of Life Youth Advisory Council, 12News Star Student, UIL Computer Science, Mu Alpha Theta, Academic Decathlon and A-Honor Roll. He plans to attend Rice University and study astronomy. His ultimate goal is to work at NASA and make significant contributions to the scientific community.

Wallace Greene will graduate second in his class. Vice President and Key Club Treasurer. He plans to attend Howard University and study pharmacy. His ultimate goal is to open his own pharmacy to help underrepresented individuals.

Aylin Galvan will graduate fourth in her class. Her high school honors include Summa Cum Laude, A-Honor Roll, nine college credit hours, French II Academic Excellence, AP Computer Science Academic Excellence, Key Club Co- Founder and Vice President, Rotary Interact Club, Art Club Treasurer, Beta Club Vice President, 12 News Star Student, Panther Animal Welfare Society Parliamentarian, Stephen F. Austin State University Joint Admissions Medical Program Scholar, A&M Student Leaders of Tomorrow Conference Delegate, Second Chair Orchestra violinist and National Honor Society Historian. She plans to attend and study nutrition, dietetics and hospitality. Her ultimate goal is to earn a master’s degree and open a clinic as a registered dietitian nutritionist. Phillip Foster, Jr. will graduate fifth in his class. His high school honors include Summa Cum Laude, National Honor Society, Key Club, Texas Music Educators Association All-Region Band, A-Honor Roll, UIL Mathematics, AP Computer Science Award recipient and UIL Computer Science. He plans to attend Lamar University to study electrical engineering. His ultimate goal is to become a computer engineer for a major company.

Emily Alvarez will graduate sixth in her class. Her high school honors include Jobs for America’s Graduates President, National Honor Society, Hispanic Alliance, Anchor Club, Student Council, Homecoming Court, Key Club, Mock Trial, Rotary Interact, Soccer Team Captain and Cross Country. She plans to attend Lamar University to study business, marketing and advertising. Her ultimate goal is to land a successful career within the Forever 21 marketing department and return to college to earn a master’s degree.

Christina Pouncy will graduate seventh in her class. Her high school honors include Summa Cum Laude, 13 college credit hours, Lamar Institute of Technology Certified Nursing Assistant Graduate, Student Council Class Secretary, Rotary Interact Treasurer, National Honor Society and Glamorous Golden Girls Drill Team Second Lieutenant. She plans to attend Prairie View A&M University to earn a master’s degree and become a pediatric nurse for Texas Children’s Hospital.

Kensely Chavis will graduate eighth in her class. Her high school honors include Summa Cum Laude, Glamorous Golden Girls Drill Team Third Lieutenant, Senior Class Vice President and Key Club Parliamentarian. She plans to attend Sam Houston State University to study biomedical engineering. Her goal is to attend medical school and become an obstetrician. Nya Davis will graduate ninth in her class. Her high school honors include Magna Cum Laude, Rotary Interact Club, Medical Magnet, 13 college credit hours and Lamar Institute of Technology Certified Nursing Assistant Graduate. She plans to attend Lamar University and study psychology. Her ultimate goal is to earn her doctorate degree and become a forensic psychologist for the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

Lamson Nguyen will graduate tenth eighth in his class. His high school honors include A/B Honor Roll, Key Club, NJROTC Academic Captain, Daughters of the American Revolution Good Citizen Award, TestOut PC Pro and Network Pro certifications and SkillsUSA Internetworking District Competition First Place. He plans to attend Lamar University to earn a bachelor’s degree and become a certified electrical engineer.

Kim Thoa will graduate eleventh in her class. Her high school honors include Summa Cum Laude, Key Club and Tennis Team Captain. She plans to attend Lamar University and earn a bachelor’s degree to become a registered nurse, then continue her education in order to become a nurse practitioner.

Zayra Ledezma will graduate twelfth in her class. Her high school honors include Summa Cum Laude, A-Honor Roll, French III Academic Excellence, Key Club Editor and active volunteer at the Beaumont Children’s Museum and Art Museum of Southeast Texas. She plans to attend Lamar University and study criminal justice. Her ultimate goal is to become a forensics technician. Britany Porter will graduate thirteenth in her class. Her high school honors include Magna Cum Laude, National Honor Society, Chemistry Olympiad Qualifier, Mock Trial, Citizen B Participant and Anchor Club. As an aspiring author, she plans to attend Stephen F. Austin State University to earn a bachelor’s degree in English. Her overall goal is to open a publishing firm and aid future authors. She also would like to have the opportunity to assist others who are attempting to better themselves.

Kole Long will graduate fourteenth in his class. His high school honors include Magna Cum Laude, Varsity Baseball four-year starter, Student Council, National Honor Society and Timberwolf Network. He plans to attend Prairie View A&M University to study electrical engineering and gain employment at General Electric.

Leah Wilkins will graduate fifteenth in her class. Her high school honors include Student Council Treasurer, Y-LSET, National Honor Society Secretary, National Beta Club Secretary, Key Club Secretary, Key Communicators, active volunteer at the Beaumont Children’s Museum and Art Museum of Southeast Texas and Georgetown University Junior State of America. She plans to attend Hollins University and study political science. Her ultimate goal is to obtain a Juris Doctor degree and become a successful federal politician with a background in law.

Nora Castaneda Hernandez will graduate sixteenth in her class. Her high school honors include Magna Cum Laude, Senior Class Representative, National Honor Society, Health Occupations Students of America Chapter Secretary, Youth Leadership of Southeast Texas, Lamar Institute of Technology Certified Nursing Assistant Graduate and 13 college credit hours. She plans to attend Lamar University Reaud Honors College to study medicine and become a licensed anesthesiologist. Jasriel Williams will graduate seventeenth in her class. Her high school honors include Xinos Junior Sorority Treasurer, Student Council Secretary, National Honor Society, Dazzling Dolls First Lieutenant and Top Volunteer Hours Award Recipient. She plans to attend Sam Houston State University to study animal science and pre-veterinary medicine in hopes of opening her own animal clinic.

Jamaya Gooch will graduate eighteenth in her class. Her high school honors include Magna Cum Laude, Beta Club, Student Council and Jobs for America’s Graduates. She plans to attend Texas State University to study biology and advance to medical school to become a pediatrician.

Adaja Copes will graduate nineteenth in her class. Her high school honors include Magna Cum Laude, Golden Girls Captain, Senior Class Co-President, Rotary Interact Vice President and 12News Star Student. She plans to attend Texas State University to study medicine and become a nurse practitioner specializing in gynecology.

Juana Perez will graduate twentieth in her class. Her high school honors include Jobs for America’s Graduates (JAG) Secretary and JAG Social Awareness Vice President. She plans to attend Lamar University to study medicine. Her ultimate goal is to obtain a doctorate and become a pediatrician. Isiah Jackson will graduate twenty-first in his class. His high school honors include Magna Cum Laude, Student Council, National Honor Society and Football Team Captain. He plans to attend the University of Houston to study chemical engineering. His ultimate goal is to help improve the well-being of the environment.

Caelan Carr will graduate twenty-second in his class. His high school honors include Magna Cum Laude, Timberwolf Network, National Honor Society and Basketball Team Director of Media. He plans to attend The University of Texas at Austin and own a television network/movie studio.

Zakiya Espree will graduate twenty-third in her class. Her high school honors include Magna Cum Laude, Rotary Interact, Glamorous Golden Girls, HOSA, Lamar Institute of Technology Graduate and Texas Nurse Aide Certification. She plans to attend Lamar University to study nursing. Her ultimate goal is to pursue a doctorate degree, become a nurse practitioner and open her own practice. Jonathan Abarca will graduate twenty-fourth in his class. His high school honors include Magna Cum Laude and A-Honor Roll. He plans to attend Lamar University and study chemical engineering. His ultimate goal is to earn his master’s degree and become a chemical engineer.

Her high school honors include A/B Honor Roll, Key Club, National Beta Club, National Honor Society, Hispanic Alliance, Mock Trial and soccer team. She plans to attend Lamar University to study nursing and help people in her community.

Ahmed Syed Rehman will graduate first in his class. His high school honors include Valedictorian; National Merit Finalist; state, regional and two-time District UIL Social Studies State Champion; UT Health Science Scholars Admission; UT Plan II Admission; United States National Chemistry Olympiad Qualifier; AP Scholar with Distinction and acceptance to Johns Hopkins University, UCLA and UC Berkeley. He plans to attend The University of Texas at Austin Medical School to become an orthopedic surgeon.

Kaitlin Gilbert will graduate second in her class. Her high school honors include Salutatorian, A-Honor Roll, National Honor Society, Philanthropic Educational Organization local STAR Scholarship nominee and Camp Waldemar Comanche Best All ‘Round Award recipient. She plans to attend Baylor University to study biomedical engineering.

David Yang will graduate third in his class. His high school honors include A-Honor Roll; UIL Biology State Qualifier; UIL Number Sense, Calculator, Mathematics and Science Regional Qualifier; National Biology Olympiad Semifinalist; local Chemistry Olympiad Finalist; National Merit Finalist; AP Scholar with Distinction and acceptance to Duke Kunshan, UCLA, UC Berkeley and USC. His tentative plans include attending The University of Texas in Austin and winning the Nobel Peace Prize in physiology/medicine.

Trenton Michael Bond will graduate fourth in his class. His high school honors include being chosen as the West Brook delegate to the American Legion Boys State Program, Naval Academy Summer Seminar and West Point Summer Leaders’ Experience. Congressman Randy Weber nominated him for the United States Military, Naval and Air Force Academies. He plans to attend West Point United States Military Academy to study chemical engineering and, upon graduation, he will be commissioned as a second lieutenant in the United States Army, where he will serve five years of active duty. Vignesh Chennupati will graduate fifth in his class. His high school honors include Eagle Scout; UIL Number Sense, Mathematics and Tennis Regional Qualifier; two- time District Tennis Champion; Channel 6 Challenge Team Second Place; State Piano Solo and Ensemble Superior Rating; National Merit Commended Scholar; LEAP and acceptance to Vanderbilt, UMKC combined BA/MD program. His tentative plans include attending The University of Texas in Austin and becoming a medical doctor.

Rodolfo Sifuentes, Jr. will graduate sixth in his class. His high school honors include Spanish Club President, Key Club Secretary, Student Council and A/B Honor Roll. He plans to attend The University of Texas at Austin and become a dentist.

Ana Marquez-Pereda will graduate seventh in her class. Her high school honors include National History Day Regional Historical Paper Competition First Place, UIL Social Studies Regional Team Competition Second Place, Future Problem Solving State Bowl Qualifier, UT Austin McCombs Investment Case Strategy Competition Team First Place, AP Scholar with Distinction, Rotary Youth Leadership Award, Interact Treasurer, National Hispanic Recognition Program Scholar, West Brook Times Editor- in-Chief, Student Council Executive Board Member and Varsity Girls Tennis. She plans to study economics at Dartmouth College or Columbia University to work in the financial services industry.

Ruth Miller will graduate eighth in her class. Her high school honors include West Brook Soundpower Drum Major and Teaching Assistant, National Honor Society Secretary, Student Body Historian, Junior Class Secretary, TMEA Music Scholar, Rotary Youth Leadership Award Recipient and A-Honor Roll. She plans to attend Southern Methodist University to major in psychology and minor in business or Spanish. Her ultimate goal is to earn her master’s degree and become a psychologist. Molly Condon will graduate ninth in her class. Her high school honors include National Honor Society, Student Council Representative, Bruin Bearer Captain, Beaumont Festival Queen, Girls Golf Team Captain and A-Honor Roll. She plans to attend Baylor University to study biology, followed by medical school on her journey to become a pediatrician.

Paola Celis-Ramirez will graduate tenth in her class. Her high school honors include Summa Cum Laude, Hispanic Scholarship Fund Scholar, National Hispanic Scholar, College Board Scholar and University of Pennsylvania Leadership Scholar. She plans to attend The University of Texas at Austin to become a cardiologist and become a Kiwanis International member. Through her involvement with these organizations, she hopes to further her connections and utilize them towards working with UNICEF.

Drew Kolp will graduate eleventh in his class. His high school honors include National Merit Scholar Finalist, four- year Choir All-Region Member and National Chemistry Olympiad Competitor. He plans to attend The University of Texas at Austin to study biochemistry and help people to the best of his ability.

Julia Alvarez will graduate twelfth in her class. Her high school honors include Summa Cum Laude, A-Honor Roll, Varsity Cheer Captain, UCA All American Cheerleader, Sparkle Captain and BRAVE Secretary. She plans to attend The University of Texas at Austin to pursue a graduate degree in nursing to either become a nurse practitioner specializing in women’s health, or pursue medical school and practice dermatology. Millie Tran will graduate thirteenth in her class. Her high school honors include Key Club Vice President, Varsity Tennis Captain and National Honor Society. She plans to attend the University of Houston to study chemical engineering.

Asma Mahmood will graduate fourteenth in her class. She plans to attend the University of Houston to major in biology as a pre-med student. Her ultimate goal is to become a cardiologist, because she finds the human heart to be breathtaking.

Hunter Syas will graduate fifteenth in his class. His high school honors include NASA Texas High School Aerospace Scholar; Texas Alliance for Minorities in Engineering (TAME) State Qualifier and Regional Placement, science first place, math fourth place; TAME ACE Award; Jefferson Presidential Scholar Nominee; Coolidge Presidential Scholar Candidate; Wendy’s Heisman School Scholar for Varsity Swimming; A-Honor Roll and Tiger Rock Martial Arts Fourth Degree Black Belt. He plans to attend Texas A&M University to pursue chemical engineering in the Engineering Honors College. His ultimate goal is to become a nuclear medicine physician.

Graziel Hinola will graduate sixteenth in her class. Her high school honors include National Honor Society Vice President, Texas Music Educators Association Music Scholar and two-year West Brook Marching Band Drum Major. Congressman Randy Weber nominated her for the United States Naval Academy. She plans to attend United States Naval Academy to major in math with economics and minor in German. Her ultimate goal is to become a Navy Medical Corps Officer. Leila Abel will graduate seventeenth in her class. Her high school honors include Key Club President, Trumpet Section Leader, Girl’s Powerlifting Captain, National Honor Society, Rotary Youth Leadership Academy participant, Presbyterian Youth Connection Council Leader and Charles Parker Outstanding Key Club Treasurer Award. She plans to attend The University of Texas at Austin to earn a bachelor’s degree in biology. Her ultimate goal is to advance to medical school and pursue a career in dermatology.

Her high school honors include Flute Section Leader; Interact Vice President; Texas Music Educators Association Music Scholar, UIL State Solo and Ensemble participant; Rotary Youth Leadership Awards; Future State Problem Solving State Qualifier; National Honor Society; Presbyterian Youth Connection Council Leader and A-Honor Roll. She plans to attend Lamar University to major in speech and language pathology and minor in business. Her ultimate goal is to pursue a doctorate degree in hopes of opening her own speech and hearing clinic.

Westley Pollard, III will graduate nineteenth in his class. His high school honors include Summa Cum Laude, National Honor Society, Student Council Executive Board Member, International Criminal Court President and UT Health Science Scholar. He plans to attend The University of Texas at Austin and study to become an invasive cardiologist.

Hakeem Hamdan will graduate twentieth in his class. His high school honors include Key Club and A/B Honor Roll. He plans to attend Texas A&M University to study chemical engineering. Douglas Stone will graduate twenty-first in his class. His high school honors include First Division UIL State Choir Solo, two-time UIL State Student Congress Debate Team, Debate Club President, Choir Chaplin, Varsity Soccer and Eagle Scout. He plans to serve a two-year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and will attend Brigham Young University in 2021 to pursue a chemical engineering degree.

Tyler Sterling will graduate twenty-second in his class. His high school honors include A-Honor Roll, Summa Cum Laude, Varsity Baseball Captain and 3X All-District Varsity Baseball. He plans to attend the University of the Incarnate Word to major in allied health and pursue the field of physical therapy.

Sindi Castillo will graduate twenty-third in her class. Her high school honors include Summa Cum Laude, National Honor Society, UIL Journalism, Newspaper Staff, A-Honor Roll and Interact Club Secretary. She plans to attend college to pursue a degree in biology, followed by medical school. Arielle Gilmore will graduate twenty-fourth in her class. She plans to attend The University of Texas at Austin to study entrepreneurship.

Lilly Cook will graduate twenty-fifth in her class. Her high school honors include Summa Cum Laude, National Honor Society, A-Honor Roll, Presidential Inauguration Leadership Summit Nominee, Global Young Innovators Initiative Academic Achievement Nominee, University of Texas McCombs Business School acceptance and Texas A&M University Mays Business School acceptance.
