Complete the adventures listed above in addition to Bonus Adventures that will be posted to Facebook, taking pictures to prove completion. 3. Submit pictures via private message to the ND Parks & Rec 2021 Adventure Challenge Facebook page. • The 2021 Adventure Challenge officially begins at 12:00am on January 1, 2021 and ends at 11:59pm on December 31, 2021; participants can start the challenge at any time within that time frame. • Participating locations include Beaver Lake, Fort Abraham Lincoln, Icelandic, Fort Ransom, Little Missouri, Turtle River, Lake Metigoshe, Lake Sakakawea, Grahams Island, Sully Creek, Lewis & Clark, Cross Ranch and Fort Stevenson state parks. Additional locations include the Lewis & Clark Interpretive Center, Fort Mandan, Crow Flies High State Recreation Area and the Pembina Gorge State Recreation Area. • Challenge is open to all visitors. Entrants or a family member must have a Facebook account that should follow the ND Parks & Rec 2021 Adventure Challenge Facebook page. • Adventure challenges are listed on a pinned post on the ND Parks & Rec 2021 Adventure Challenge Facebook page. Challenges can be completed in any order. • Participants must take pictures, proving challenges were accomplished. Pictures must be submitted via private message to the ND Parks & Rec 2021 Adventure Challenge Facebook page from a single account. • Limit one entry per household; entries must be submitted from a single Facebook account. • Bonus adventures will be posted periodically to the ND Parks & Rec 2021 Adventure Challenge Facebook page and will have deadlines for which they need to be completed. • Those completing bonus challenges posted on the ND Parks & Rec 2021 Adventure Challenge Facebook page need to complete the challenge and submit their pictures to prove their completion before the deadline. Failure to do so will result in no credit given towards that bonus challenge. • All photos must be taken within one of the participating locations listed above; photos taken offsite will not satisfy completion of that specific adventure. Photos that are emailed, posted to the page or tagged referencing the challenge or account will not be accepted, nor count towards the overall challenge. • One photo per challenge; each photo submission must reference the challenge it is intended to fulfill. No single photo will count towards the completion of multiple challenges. Additional photos submitted pertaining to a completed challenge will not increase chances of winning. Upon the conclusion of the challenge, the first 100 participants who have completed the most adventures according to the official rules will win a North Dakota Parks & Recreation Department patch.

In addition, those who complete a minimum of 25 challenges listed on the pinned Facebook post and at least 12 of the Bonus Challenges throughout the year will get entered into a drawing for additional prize packages.

One prize package will include a 2022 annual pass, two nights camping and a $100 voucher for North Dakota Parks & Recreation Department merchandise. Two additional packages will each include a 2022 annual pass and a $50 voucher for North Dakota Parks & Recreation Department merchandise.

Winners will be announced and prizes will be awarded in January 2022 via the ND Parks & Rec 2021 Adventure Challenge Facebook page. Winners will also be contacted directly via private messaging via Facebook.
