LES ROIS DU DRAG Starting January 12 Twelve drivers will face off in LES ROIS DU DRAG, the first reality TV show about drag racing. Strongman and car fan Hugo Girard is at the wheel of this new series that takes viewers behind the scenes of these fascinating competitions. But only one driver can be crowned “King of Drag”; viewers will have to wait for the season finale to discover who gets to take home the prize money.
WEEK-END DE BOIS Starting March 15 In this series, Peter MacLeod tries to bring out the “coureur des bois” in his guests. In each episode, MacLeod will host two Quebec artists in his isolated cabin, deep in the forest. The challenge for guests is to maintain their composure in spite of the surprises in store for them, including intense initiations to the so-called joys of nature and other unusual pranks and activities.

LES RECRUES Starting January 4 This series follows six recruits at the military base in St-Jean-sur- Richelieu as they attempt to overcome the numerous obstacles that are part of life in the Canadian Armed Forces. It will be three months of mud, sweat, and intense transformation leaving none unchanged. The series provides an exclusive glimpse into military life, and goes where no camera has ever gone before.
COUREURS DE SMASHS Starting January 12 This documentary series chronicles the daily life of tow truck drivers at Remorquage Centre-ville. Their daily routines are characterized by car breakdowns, emergency and high-pressure situations, competition, intimidation, surprises, and most of all, accidents – thousands every year on the island of Montréal alone.

LES BLOOD BROTHERS Starting March 15 LES BLOOD BROTHERS is a documentary series that follows the daily life of two special effects fanatics. Jib Bérubé and Carlo Harrietha have been in business for three years and are experts at putting things together on the fly. These two friends and colleagues spread joy, madness, fire, blood, and gore everywhere they go.
MAGASIN GÉNÉRAL Starting May 2 This series features two colourful and endearing general store owners, Matt Dalpé and Junior Bourget, who specialize in making customized original steel and wood items. Each episode, they receive an important and challenging order from a specific client or business.

THE STRAIN Starting January 30 THE STRAIN is a high-concept thriller that tells the story of Dr. Ephraim Goodweather, the head of the Centers for Disease Control Canary Team in New York City. He and his team are called upon to investigate a mysterious viral outbreak with hallmarks of an ancient and evil strain of vampirism. As the strain spreads, Eph, his team, and an assembly of everyday New Yorkers wage war for the fate of humanity itself.
PENNY DREADFUL Starting April 3 In Victorian London, Vanessa Ives, a strong young woman with hypnotic powers, joins forces with Ethan, a rebellious and violent boy with the traits of a cowboy, and Sir Malcolm, a wealthy, elderly man with inexhaustible resources. Together, they fight an unknown and almost invisible enemy that seems inhuman and massacres the innocent.

COMMANDO BIGFOOT (BigFoot Commandos) Starting February 8 Deep in the Texas and Louisiana woods lurk giant ape-like creatures. A group of vets, ex-lawmen and hardcore woodsmen known as the Gulf Coast Bigfoot Research Organization (GCBRO) are hunting the creature to protect the public and harvest a specimen in hopes of proving that these creatures do exist.

Not only do they share delicious recipes, they also give tips that will make couples look forward to cooking together and for each other. In other words, these are ideas for spending quality time together. Every week, three recipes to put pep into your relationship will be presented.
VENDRE OU RÉNOVER AU QUÉBEC Starting February 7 VENDRE OU RÉNOVER has arrived in Quebec to answer the question that’s on many homeowners’ lips after they’ve lived there a few years: “Should we sell or renovate our property?” Designer Daniel Corbin redesigns home interiors and adapts properties to address the many needs of their owners. Meanwhile, real estate agent Maïka Desnoyers tries to convince participants to buy their dream house by showing them three carefully selected properties. The competition between designer and real estate agent is fierce, but the homeowners always get the last word.

LES MCGILLIVRAY DÉMÉNAGENT (Moving the McGillivrays) Starting January 2 In this new series, we see Scott and his wife Sabrina plan and build their forever home for their young family. In every episode of Moving the McGillivrays, viewers will get a glimpse into Scott and Sabrina’s busy family life, see how they balance working full-time with taking care of their two daughters, while being part of every decision and build detail on their new dream home. But the McGillivrays haven’t lost sight of the fact that there are families who need help on the home front. So Scott helps build a home for a hard-working family in need, all while making sure his new house is completed on time and on budget. There will be laughter and a few tears when both homes are move-in ready and two families’ dreams come true. JO FROST, NANNY SUR LA ROUTE (Jo Frost, Nanny on tour) Starting January 4 The series uses a similar theme that was used in Supernanny, which has Frost traveling to a new city each week and work with one family that desperately needs her expertise. Prior to her arrival, Frost monitors the family’s behaviour from her mobile RV office through the use of surveillance cameras with the consent of the family after they agree to have it placed throughout their home. Once she sees their weaknesses and errors, Frost helps the families come up with tools and techniques in order to improve their parentings skills, maintain their discipline and better their relationship with their children. DÉLATEURS Starting January 6 DÉLATEURS is a docudrama series about criminals who betray their accomplices by providing precious information to police – often to save their own skins. In return for information leading to the arrest of dangerous criminals, these informers receive police protection and reduced sentences for their own crimes. Their collaboration helped make possible the large waves of arrests in Québec over the past few years. Each episode focuses on a specific informer and the bargains struck with police and prosecutors as a result of their collaboration, including the stories of Karla Homolka, Donald Lavoie, Gérald Gallant, and others. The episodes are narrated in the first person by top actors, such as Sébastien Ricard. NEW SHOWS
SECRETS DES DOUANES Starting January 2 Approximately 11 million travellers show up at Quebec’s customs booths every year. That’s thirty thousand people a day – thirty thousand trips, thirty thousand declarations, and thirty thousand stories. CODE G Starting January 10 On this new show, CODE G, the guys will be taking a closer look at the unwritten rules of masculinity. No subject is too risky for our hosts Phil Roy, Adib Alkhalidey, Joey Scarpellino, Jay du Temple and Daniel Pinet.

CHALLENGE HOCKEY RDS DECEMBER Starting in December of 2016, RDS will broadcast a one-of-a- kind show featuring 16 active NHL players competing in an exciting EA Sports NHL17 video game tournament. RDS will be hosting the tournament in one of Montreal’s premier multimedia venues, “L’ASTRAL” on Sainte-Catherine Street. Invitations will be sent out to the NHL’s top Quebecers along with some of the most exciting players from the Montreal Canadiens. 4 groups of 4 NHL players will face Off in the most captivating NHL17 tournament ever organized. Watch them all season long as they play as themselves or as their favourite team on the virtual rinks of EA SPORTS’ NHL17.
