Informatics & Engineering Systems

Overview The Department of Informatics and Engineering Systems (IES) includes undergraduate and graduate degrees as well as a professional certificate. All degrees provide students with technical and leadership skills that will drive positive changes within their current or future employers. IES degrees also prepare students for advance studies beyond the undergraduate degree. Students in the IES programs are a diverse mix of traditional and non-traditional students looking to acquire skills to change or advance in the job market.

Informatics Informatics is the study of information, and this degree teaches students how information is generated, acquired, stored, retrieved, organized, managed, used, and exploited. Students learn how to create bottom- line impacts for their employers utilizing a host of information resources.
