What Is FOX LEAGUE on Tour? Foxtel and FOX SPORTS Are Once Again FAQs What is FOX LEAGUE on Tour? Foxtel and FOX SPORTS are once again joining forces for the Foxtel Footy Tour, a roadshow visiting communities across Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria. NRL greats Gorden Tallis, Justin Hodges, Braith Anasta, Michael Ennis, Bryan Fletcher and Nathan Hindmarsh along with League Life hosts Lara Pitt, Jess Yates, Hannah Hollis and Yvonne Sampson are just some of the FOX LEAGUE presenters that will visit fans across New South Wales and Queensland. FOX FOOTY’s Jason Dunstall, Dermott Brereton, Garry Lyon, Cameron Mooney and Jonathan Brown will be among the AFL greats hitting the road for the Victorian tour. The Sportsman’s Night will be a chance to hear from some of the most respected voices in rugby league, and have a few laughs along the way. The audience will get to hear the NRL and AFL legends’ thoughts and opinions on what’s in store this season Is there an age restriction? There is no age restriction for the Footy Clinics. Yes, each Sportsman’s Night is open to adults 18 years and over. How do I register? To register your interest, head to: https://www.foxsports.com.au/foxtel-footy-tour An email reminder will be sent to your nominated email address prior to the event. What if I can’t go anymore? Please email [email protected] with your full name and the number of people in your party. Is the number of registrations capped? Yes the capacity of each venue varies. Registrations will be cut off once the maximum number of people for each venue is reached. What if my preferred venue has reached capacity? Your name will be placed on a waitlist, and you will be notified if another attendee pulls out. Is there a registration cut-off date? Yes, all registrations will be cut off the day of the date of the footy clinic and Sportsman’s Night, or as soon as the venue reaches capacity. Can I win anything at the Sportsman’s Night? You will receive a raffle ticket upon entry which will be drawn at the end of the night. There will be a signed football at each location. Do I need to pay to attend the sportsman’s night? Yes, gold coin donation. All proceeds will be going to your local Junior Rugby League. Do I need a ticket to attend? No, just register your name and the number of people in your party. Will I have the chance to meet the stars? Yes. Feel free to bring along any merchandise for the stars to sign. Is there a dress code? Footy Clinic - Please make sure you have your footy kit on along with appropriate footwear. Please also make sure you bring a full water bottle. Sportsman’s night - Please check with your local venue as dress codes may change from venue to venue. Please note time, locations and participants subject to change at FOX SPORTS discretion. .

    Sporting with Dentistry: What Keeps Practices Successful We can learn a lot from sporting teams. Mark Thompson has a phenomenal record, both as an AFL player and a coach, and has taken Geelong to three successive Grand Finals with two premierships. Geelong also has strong leadership in its administration and club president. Melbourne Storm coach Craig Bellamy was not regarded as a great player, even though he played about 150 games for the Canberra Raiders, but he has coached Melbourne Storm to the finals for seven years in succession, including four successive Grand Finals. He has brought the club three minor premierships and two premierships. Bellamy has the best win percentage of any established NRL coach. Because of Bellamy’s reputation, he has been able to build a strong football department around him, particularly his assistant coaches Stephen Kearney and Michael Maguire. Guus Hiddink coached the previously unsuccessful Socceroos to outperform well into a World Cup finals campaign. He briefly but dramatically lifted the profile of soccer in Australia, but unfortunately his influence was too short. In the 1990s and early 2000s Rugby Union’s Wallabies were well coached and were led to a couple of World Cup triumphs, but more recently the Rugby Union world has degenerated into one of serial intrigue off the field and team failure on the field. As a result, the current Australian Super 14 and Wallaby teams are regarded as being ‘no names’ teams compared to the days when the Wallabies were captained by Nick Farr-Jones and John Eales. TV ratings have plummeted vis a vis the ratings for NRL and AFL.
