Vitrigraph Murrine & Lidded Boxes What good is a box without a lid? What good is one technique alone? In this one of a kind workshop you’ll learn two innovative techniques while creating a kilncast glass box complete with a Vitrigraph murrine lid. Participants will learn the basics of Nathans widely sought after Vitrigraph murrine methods, from loading the kiln to working hands on with hot glass to pull cane. The resulting Vitrigraph material will then be used to create a decorative lid for a custom kilncast glass box that will be made in class using an assembled vermiculite board mold system. Students must be able to confi dently and effi ciently cut sheet glass to take this workshop. All materials are included. 5 Days (7.5 Hours each), Tuition: $930 Tuesday-Saturday, June 12-16 9:30am-5:00pm
