Other safety arrangements include protective screens at check-in desks and boarding pass checkpoints and disinfectant dispensers throughout the terminals. The airport operator provides passengers with information on safe behaviour and hygiene rules via monitors, information signs, PA announcements and floor markings.

The Free State of has set up coronavirus test centres for passengers entering Germany at Leipzig/Halle and Dresden Airports, in cooperation with the Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians in Saxony (Kassenärztliche Vereinigung Sachsen).
