This was the first presenta- tion of the five-year capital plan. The preliminary 2020 to 2024 CIP gives an in-depth overview of the village's long- term needs. The total cost for the proposed projects is $138,070,776 for the next five years. This doesn't mean the village will spend money on all of the projects listed; CIP only identifies what the village would like to complete. The CIP will now be under consideration during village budget meetings held during October. Some of the CIP projects of note are: Category 700: Water System ($34.8 million); Cat- egory 705: Resurfacing ($34.7 million); Category 702: Flood Control ($12.8 million); and Category 706: Public Building Construction & Improvements ($123 million).
