• There are 52 Regional Leagues for women in all of the Provinces • These result in Sasol Provincial play-offs of which 2 winners are promoted into the SAFA National Women’s League, the most elite league for women and only one of its nature on the . • There are national inter-provincial leagues for the u17 and u19 which are played throughout the year • These work as talent identification for both our national women u17 and u20 national teams Men’s Teams

• There are Regional Leagues played around the country on weekly basis • These are the leagues which were then sponsored and known as SAB League concentrate more on young, up and coming players • Because players as young as 18 participate in these leagues, it was mutually agreed that it would be inappropriate for u18 players to play with a beer product backing them (as sponsors) • These SAFA Regional Leagues produce winners who will go into the play offs to produce provincial winners who will play in the promotional play offs. The winners of those play offs are promoted into the ABC Motsepe league • The 9 Provincial winners of the ABC Motsepe play offs meet in the national play offs and winners from this tournament are promoted into the National First Division annually • There are vibrant leagues of the boys u17 and u19s across all the 9 Provinces and these leagues serve as talent identification for all our junior national teams SAFA IS INVOLED IN EXTENSIVE •Coaching Education which has produced coaches for all our national teams, most PSL coaches, NFD and other club coaches •Referees Training: Our match officials are rated the best on the African continent and this is well documented by the high number of match officials appointed to officiate in global tournaments •Football Administration training: SAFA has trained and continue to train football administrators across the country and both CAF and COSAFA has used the Association’s expertise to train football administrators across the board TECHNICAL: COACHES
